As the only McDonald's in town and right off the highway it is quite popular. The drive thru is quite busy. We went inside to order but decided to eat in our hotel. There was a weird smell in the air, the floor had that dirty slippery feel under foot and all the tables had crumbs on them or were wet. The food was hot, delivered accurately and quickly. Worst McDonald's experience ever! Drive thru associate was very rude and also automatically upcharged all 3 of our meals without asking. Then, the 1st window attendant would only open the window halfway, wouldn't look at us when talking and spoke very quiet while attempting to change our order. Order was messed up further, which the person at the second window tried to correct. Ended up with about 75% accuracy with our order and decided to skip this location in all future stops in Jamestown rather than spend more time trying to get the order corrected. read more

they forgot my McFlurrys when I payed for a McFlurrys it said so on the reciet. and I told the delivery person they said it was in the bag and they didn't even look. and when I texted the delivery person they wouldn't answer and blocked me. McDonalds never got me my McFlurry and never paid me back. it's not just the fact I lost money it's the fact that I was craving ice cream and was so excited and I was greatly disappointed and depressed the rest of the night. read more

One guy only cleaning whole lobby, Garbage Containers were totally trashed, and needed to be cleaned inside and out, which is what one guy was doing. However, he needed help. I went to tell the front, with 3 people doing nothing, one being a manager. That they needed to just take a minute and clean the condiment counter off as ketchup. 5 minutes later when the food was ready, (yes took 5 minutes which I didn't mind) I told them again, and the manager stated we don't have time to keep things clean, and that it is only ketchup so it didn't matter how long it was out. (The ketchup containers and the little white container holder they have, had dried ketchup all over them) I told them it is gross I have to use filthy containers, and they said again, it is only ketchup. The front was complaining to customers after me telling them again, that don't listen to that guy, he just don't understand that sometimes we get to busy to keep things clean. WOW!!!!! I called corporate, while in McDonalds, told the front I am on the phone with them. They sent someone out to come talk to me, without a dish towel to clean up, (Because they are too busy to take 60 seconds to clean it up, but not too busy to talk to me. The manager sent an employee out instead of doing it herself. She asked what the problem was, I told her look at the counter, and she said it was only ketchup. (Why are you not cleaning this instead of talking to me? I told her it didn't matter if it was ketchup. Maybe this needs to be reported to the health department. (All this with McDonalds Corperate on the phone) She said I need to calm down Sir. I told her, I'm not even yelling at you. I asked him on the phone, did you hear that? She was trying to agitate me and start something by telling me to calm down, when I was calm. From there he took our order. We did not want to eat the food, so we just kinda sat and talked. as the whole family was there. I was so upset they would not help the one guy who was so far behind, when 3 people in lobby had nothing better to do. They sent someone else out help to clean the counter, when they got busy. Go figure they had time than, hu? How is the kitchen, if they don't care about customers eating out of containers that just have only ketchup on the outside of them? And sticky counters. September 9, 2011 Friday - dinner 9:30 PM 2 adults Atmosphere - 3 stars Food - 4 stars Service - 4 stars Background - I have to admit McDonald's is low on my list of fast food chain restaurant choices. But it is late in a town I do not know anything else and they are near the on ramp to the Interest highway. Atmosphere - The new cookie cutter style of McDonald's. They have three big TV's one showing information about flood information and the others college football. One of the two soft drink machines was broken with a simple note taped to it. What I found discussing was that they had little trays with condiments in them. One of the trays was low in the number of salt packets and the ones that remained very brown which I assume is from grease. But one thing I thought was really cool was the big clock on the wall; I wish I had a camera with me. It looks like Salvador Dali had created it. Food Appetizer - It is fast food. Main Course - I one thing I have learned about fast food chain restaurants is not to go during peak hours so your food does not sit there for hours before they serve it to you. I ordered the Angus Bacon & Cheese. This is the first time I have had this burger. The bacon was cooked a little too long; bacon is so hard to get right for everyone. The red onions were very crisp and loads of flavor in it. The meat was juicy and the sauce on the burger was tasty. Two slices of cheese, one on each side of the patty. The fries were not over salted that you find typically at McDonald's. Again coming at off hours provided freshly made food and the fries really showed that. Dessert - Did not order any as we wanted to get back on the road for three hours in front of us. Service - Prompt is the best way to put it. The person in charge was the one who waited on us. But she glazed over when she realized that the Minot HS soccer team arrived. I wonder if they got hit by the Mandan HS football team as their game just ended too. McDonald's in Jamestown nd should be shut down by the health department. It is disgusting. The bathrooms have signs in them out of order because they have no employees that will clean them yet they keep them open for everyone to go in and use. There is piss and shit all over the floors on the walls and all over the entire bathroom. You can't even walk in to wash your hands without walking in piss and crap and so their employees are doing the same thing then going back in to the kitchen and cooking your meals. This place is a total mess. You can't order from the front till because they say they don't have enough help yet there stupid kiosk doesn't work and you have to go pay at the till so there is an employee there full time anyway. They don't seem to care about anything. There is food and garbage all over the kitchen floor and they just keep walking in it. Half employees werent wearing hats whilst preparing food (including the manager, who scratch his sack, wiped sweat off his forhead and proceeded to handle french fries). When asked for a health certificate, manager refused and became loud and belligerent, yelling no one is required to wear a hat (even after i pointed out the fda food code requirement). Even after i pointed out that he shouldnt scratch himself while serving food, he completely ignored it. The customer service was decent, but the restaurant was poorly cleaned. The food was sloppily assembled, and everything was greasy.

Intrigued by the remarkably low ratings, we stopped here at 08:30 on a Sunday en route to Marquette, MI. Given the pandemic, our only option was drive thru. There were a few cars going through at the same time as us (trucks actually- it's ND). Service was quick and friendly.
