The chilli wonton soup was genuinely good, probably the standout for me. I'd happily go back for that. The cinnamon rolls were alright. I tried the Biscoff Crunch, Dubai Pistachio with Strawberry, Cookies & Cream, and Banana Pudding flavours. They looked the part and were decent enough, but nothing that had me thinking, "Bloody hell, I need another one of these." The waffles, unfortunately, were a different story. They weren't cooked properly through the middle, chewy and gooey rather than crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. The Biscoff flavour was also barely noticeable. The drinks are very much geared towards the social-media crowd: lots of milk, lots of toppings, lots of visual appeal. If you enjoy taking a photo of your drink before taking a sip, you'll probably have a field day. And then there's the price. For what you're actually getting, it feels rather steep. The food is, at best, mediocre in several areas, yet the prices seem to suggest these ingredients were mined personally by King Charles. Ironically, I actually would have gone back for the chilli wontons, banana pudding and Biscoff pudding. But the experience around their influencer/collaboration side left a rather sour taste. If you're a collaborator or influencer, BE WARNED! No real communication or courtesy message. Perhaps I'm old-fashioned, but if you're going to deal with people, a simple response goes a long way. But then again, they perhaps cherry-pick whom to interact with based on their social media activity. And finally, watching someone at the counter struggle with some basic maths while taking an order was certainly an experience. I'm all for supporting people, but perhaps the calculator deserves a little more screen time than the Instagram account. Overall: some genuinely good items buried underneath a lot of hype, presentation and rather ambitious pricing. I'd happily return for a couple of the things I enjoyed, but I wouldn't be rushing back for the overall experience. Food: 3/10 Value: 2/10 Presentation: 8/10 Social-media appeal: 10/10 Would I return? For the chilli wontons and a couple of puddings, yes. For the rest... probably not.

You'd think that would be standard for a dessert that melts so quickly, but surprisingly, it isn't. Between the taste and extra step taken for packaging, this place has earned a loyal customer. It will forever be my go-to spot for bingsu.

Golden Garden was a wonderful place to stop by for a bite to eat. I'll definitely be back to try more items from their menu. :)

Drinks are good, but the STAFF ARE VERY RUDE!! I asked, why I wasnt asked about the"frequent card", and this very rude asian, I think Japanese or Korean (btw, pls dont think I am being racy, I am asian, who happens to love pearl drinks)...And she bluntly said, they don't have to offer, or ask about the card, as a customer, it is my responsibiity to ask!" And to add insult to injury, she even pointed out the sign, among the other signs by the counter... Yes! I admit, it is my bad, but I was really nice in asking, and I was surprised by her abruptness. It was very insulting, especially when the place was filled with other customers... And so, I said, i would appreciate if she can response in a nice way, but I don't have to be treated that way. oh my! this girl was really like having a bad day and ready to put up a fight! Sarcastically she responded, IF YOU DON'T LIKE US, YOU CAN LEAVE! Gee, i just want my drink and I merely asked for the frequent card! I told her, I will, just give me my drink, anyway, she already swiped my card! She press the card machine and told me, "NO I DID NOT CHARGE YOUR CARD!" And i said, with my husband, we saw you swipe my card! Man! this girl can lie, without batting her eyelash, and said, she didn't swipe.. and when we said, she said, no cancelled it! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Right!!! She refuse the stampee card, then she already took my order, she swiped my card, I said, yes I will leave, but just give me my drink.. SHE IS JUST SO READY TO PUT A FIGHT, WHILE STILL PRESSING THE MACHINE, AND RUDELY INSTRUCTED ME TO LEAVE THE STORE! This is the place where I have happily promoted to my neighborhood, church, family and friends.. to my whole community and this is how I was treated.. for merely inquiring about the "frequent card!" Sorry , I wouldn't give them my money anymore . Last time I was there one of the employees treated me with rudeness and she was very unpleasant . She looked like she was irritated and told me rudely to stay away from the glass partitioner . I thought that was totally unprofessional. I was trying to hand her my credit card underneath the glass partitioner , I wonder if next time I should toss my card over the glass . I definitely won't return . She was a teenager possibly white or mix girl with black hair with athletic build slightly buffed , she always chit chats with her teenage black coworker . I just moved the area couple months ago from Bay Area and craving popcorn chicken and found another tapioca express in Sacramento, I go immediately to try their famous popcorn chicken, it's sooooo good, their popcorn chicken is big and very juice, I also order jasmine green tea, the tea flavor is just right in the amount I had in Bay Area, Im Taiwanese so I know what amount of tea should be fit for milk tea, and they have many topping for me to choose.I'm glad I found this store and their speed is fast and store is clean, I definitely recommend to come here if you are boba tea and popcorn chicken fans. read more

I would give higher rating if the employees were friendlier and at least showed some efforts in giving a better customer service . One of the girls there with long black pony tail is always grumpy and boRderline rude . She always whispers to her coworker's ear when the customers are there . So I'm normally a Thai Tea fan, but it I opted to try out the Avacado bubble. Ok, so it's extremely rich and creamy exploding with flavor from the half Avacado slice thrown into the blender. If you are in the mood for an Avacado, but don't want to eat it plain this is your drink. Being I was not in the mood to eat an Avacado and was expecting more of a green tea/Avacado flavor in this $6 drink, halfway down. Never trying anything new again. read more
