Breakfast Review: I wish I found this place sooner. We were here for a baseball tournament and my normal coffee spot was closed. So I walked here! This place seems brand new with plenty of seating. Fourth visit since opening and have enjoyed each visit. Standouts are the pretzel, nachos and the pastrami Reuben. And of course the taps. JP is super helpful finding something I like if I am not familiar with any of the offerings. Will keep coming back! read more

This place says it's still in soft launch (May 2026). It was not overly crowded on a Monday night but a few folks. The setup with their wall of beer & drink taps reminded us of Red Top Brewing also in Acworth that we went to a few times several years ago before we tired of inconsistent experiences. Anyway, fried fish was good, with cream corn & tots. Wife got pork belly which was basically thick sliced bacon & a bit fatty so wasn't her favorite. Menu Is a little over priced, one item on menu was The Wedge Salad, wasn't even a quarter of a head of lettuce for $18.00. Pilsner beers were very good but I don't like buying my beer by the ounces. Very good ambiance and employees know much about the beers. read more

First visit. Check in with hostess was a touch awkward. Instructions on service was not clear. After few questions, we figured out that beer drinkers get a card (loaded by one's debit card) for self-serve beers. You tap card and then pay by pour at each tap. If you want wine or bar drinks, the server handles. I'm a beer drinker, and they have a nice assortment of micros and the staples such as Ultra, Guinness etc. Small menu of food but prepared nicely. We had cheese curds for an app. For dinner a chicken salad and a fried cod sandwich. Bacon wrapped asparagus was tasty as a side. Our server was excellent (Maddie). After reading previous reviews I was hesitant try to out Tap Town but definitely wanted to support local business and form my own opinion. We grabbed seats inside and got help immediately, arm bands showing we were 21 and got our self pour cards. The inside is bright and inviting, I love the separate spaces to break up the volume so it's not just a big open room. The main self pour section is huge and there is a smaller selection with mimosas and pino Grigio upstairs. The outdoor spaces were nice, wish there was more optional shade for the incoming summer. The food menu is a little limited, but the appetizers we got were great! We got the blue crab nachos and wings, both were seasoned well, juicy, portioned well. The beer master was very proud of his selection and made many suggestions. Our ONLY gripe was there were zero TVs, so coming here to hang out and watch a game won't happen YET. Even a projector would be awesome for events. Overall, we will definitely come back and I recommend to anyone wanting to check it out. read more

First time trying, was very excited. Beautiful, open concept atmosphere, but turned out very disappointing. Slow service, one server for the entire downstairs excuse was given early on. The pretzel was great, hot and yummy. Then the meals came out. My son's burger was hot - nothing else. His tots and my meal was cold. Cold meatloaf, mac and cheese, collards and corn is not acceptable. After nicely bringing it to the server's attention, we got an apology and half comp. No manager acknowledgement. I mentioned, wow no manager involvement- then he came over and comped everything. Well, now my son wins - other local restaurants serve hot, yummy food consistently. Guess we'll be going to a he same places 3-4 times a week. Sad, wish we had lots of great options. read more

My daughter an I went on Friday afternoon and things were buzzing. Service was great and there is always an ambassador around to help you with the draft wall and help you to choose just the right draft. We shared the blue crab nachos and the cheese curds. My daughter and I stopped in for lunch. Understand this is the soft opening and everything is new and shiny. We were very happy with our up stairs seating- great window views. We ordered the Blue crab nachos and lemon pepper wings. Food tasted really good. The only suggestion I would make for nachos- is more crab for the amount of chips and offer toppings like cut cherry tomatoes, red onion, or a roasted corn salasa .... To evaluate the crab. My daughter loved the lemon pepper wings - they are really lemony and meaty. The dipping ranch is creamy. Our waitress was attentive and not hard to find when needed. Very quiet today but I can see when it's busy being much louder. I like to beer tap idea- i hope they add activities ( darts, game tables) to have something to do while enjoying the beer. I am looking forward to coming back to try a burger and the fire pits. read more

I definitely recommend this spot for any group gathering! We sat outside and the fans did a decent job in keeping us cool on a hot day. I was surprised to see they also have a semi full bar and signature cocktails on tap. I recommend the 'Argentinian Summer' for a super refreshing gin drink on tap! Ordered chicken nachos, to eat - they were mediocre. My partner had the pastrami Reuben, he enjoyed it tho the bread came apart a little. Looking forward to trying more of the menu! Their beverage director is a super friendly guy that will help you find whatever you're looking for if you need some help! I believe they're still in soft opening - so you can tell they're still working some things out with service and such but I believe this place is a great addition to DT Acworth and excited to go back. read more

I would vote 0 stars if I could. You have to serve yourself, the beer charges you for foam and cuts off your pour after (what it thinks) is a pint, and they want you to tip THEM for self service. So many wheat beers I thought I was in Kansas. Staff constantly ask if you're ok, but don't care when you complain. Save yourself the trouble and go across the street. read more

We were very disappointed. We ordered and the everything came out at different times. A whole meal was missing and when it did come out everyone was done eating then it came out it was clearly rushed and extremely under cooked sent back as it would've give food poisoning. I loved the whole experience of Tap Town! I took a friend and we sat down and ate. We had Livi as our server and she was so wonderful and attentive! She answered all of our questions and brought everything out in a timely manner. Food was great! Everything was delicious. I got the BLT and my friend got the cod sandwich. We also got the tap cards and tried many different selections. Everything was fresh and great. The atmosphere is so nice and just good vibes all around. Everything was very clean and well maintained.
