But today my brother and I brought my aunt in to celebrate her 82nd birthday and they surprisingly brought her a slice of cheesecake while singing happy birthday. Such a nice touch. Lovely people . We had dinner there last night and it was delicious. I'm visiting from Florida & always have a hard time finding good Italian food however I finally did last night. I had the sausage & peppers appetizer & the meat sauce with Spagetti. Over the top. My husband had a pizza and raved about it. The salmon appetizer was huge, could definitely be shared, bruschetta was scrumptious. They have gluten free pasta too. Definitely worth a trip to try this magnificent time. read more

Food was very good, came with a large group for a family reunion. Service was excellent and food came on time.

Food was spectacular; the service was horrendous. Wait staff is very disrespectful. They're attentive to their "regulars" who were sitting next to us, while blatantly providing poor service to my table. Waiter asked for a tip and told us "they work for tips" when paying our bill. The quality of the food was diminished by the shadow of the employees and wait staff. read more

Visiting from out of town and so impressed with the attentive and quick service and, most importantly, the food! Arctic Char highly recommended, though the pasta dishes I tasted were all beautifully presented, flavorful and well-portioned. It is with sadness that I write this review, what was 1 of our favourite restaurants quickly turned bad and we won't be going back. Yesterday we were a group of 7 early afternoon 4 pm, the owner addressed my husband very rudely asking him if we had reservations , the place was empty, and when my husband said no he berated him and said he could eat somewhere else. now we are regulers there and the reason is the wife so friendly the service was alway good , collectively I am sure we spent 450.00 unfortunly we were left with a sour taste in our mouths and won't be returning.the only reason we went was we met the waiter in the parking lot and he convinced us to come in. read more

I can no longer say that there is no good restaurants in Lachine! Been living in Lachine for 6 years and passed by the restaurant numerous time but never tried it because I was disappointed in the ones I've tried. They have a terrace during summer or you can sit inside as they have a two floors dinning room. My friend and I opted for the inside as the sun was going down and we were afraid that the mosquitos might come haunting us. The dinning room is actually very nice and clean. Service was good and food was fresh and flavourful. Took an entree of fried calamaris...it was decent but still can't beat the ones I had at La Verita! We also had the octopus entree and it was tender...the hot chili sauce on the side definitely enhanced the flavour. As mains we shared a pasta Gigi which was excellent and their special Taormina pizza. The pizza was good but not mind blowing. All of that with a great bottle of wine that was reasonably priced. In all, we had great food with excellent service. Would be a good option if you want to bring a date. read more

New favorite! Service was incredible! Elena and the rest of the staff were fabulous. Attentivd but left us to enjoy our meals. Explained the whole menu in detail. Elena was particularly fabulous and showed us their reservation area and answered all our questions...she was so incredibly amazing! The food was good. Honestly i found the chicken plate i ordered a bit overcooked but the sauce and the perfectly cooked and seasoned array of vegetables i chose as a side dish made it perfectly forgivable. Boyfriend love his spagettini arrabiatta...spicy beyond belief and he enjoyed every bite. The decor and the atmosphere is very chill and classy and comfortable. I loved showing up in a pretty dress but i wouldn't feel bad to show up in a nice pair of jeans and t shirt either. Parking is available in the back off Notre Dame. We paid for parking right in front but not much as it was near then end of tariffed times. Right along the river, we will be back to enjoy this place more! read more

Really nice spot for lunch or dinner in scenic Lachine! We stopped in for lunch on the waterfront. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I don't regret trying this little gem at all. I ordered from the lunch table d'hôte which includes a soup or salad and a choice of pasta​ and sauces. I had a balsamic salad as my appetizer. It was delicious. For the main course, I chose Fettucine with Aglio + Olio, also delicious. My daughter enjoyed a Caesar​ salad. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant. The service was great! read more

Amazing. We came here for a dinner date while in Montreal and were so happy with the food we returned the next day for a family dinner! Delicious steak, probably one of the best steaks I've ever had. And the filled pasta with Rose sauce ..... omg. Delicious! I am of Italian descent and rarely go to Italian restaurants but this place is to die for, everything on the menu is made fresh and so tasty, the best fried calamari and grilled octopus I have ever tasted. The veal taormina is delicious, all the pizzas we tasted are very good too. The place looks like a high end restaurant with fair prices, they even have a room on the second floor for private parties with dance floor, bar, lounge and a windows with. nice view! First time in Montreal and my husband and I ate here for lunch our first day. Waitress and staff were very nice and gave great suggestions on things to do and places to see. It was almost 22h and I was looking for a cheap/good restaurant in Lachine. I decided to go on a bike ride on the bicycle path and see if I could see something interesting. When I came up in front of the Taormina Lounge, I saw very appealing read neon lights in the restaurant and that's what made me choose this restaurant. The decoration is very modern. Like I said, the red lights adds a nightclub ambiance to the place. Though, the best part about the Taormina Lounge is the front terrace. The great point of view on the St-Laurent makes the charm of this place. The food is good. I ordered a clam pizza and it was tasty, but by chance, not too salty. Many other restaurants are salting their sea food pizza too much and it does not taste good. Yes the clams were canned ones, but it didn't taste bad at all. It was a very big pizza and even if I was super hungry, I had problems to finish it all. It costs about 17$ for a main dish and a soft drink. I haven't tried the other food offered over there and I have no idea if it's good or not. At the end, this restaurant is a viable option if you're looking for a good restaurant with a great terrace in Lachine. read more
