I started with the best beet salad I've ever had. It was on a bed of pureed cashews, which added the perfect solidity to the beets and other vegetables. My main was salmon, and there was nothing wrong with this dish, but I could have gotten something like it anywhere. But it was the dessert that was absolutely amazing. That's a vanilla crème on an almond cookie and then infused with this Quebecois fruit called a melitot (I think). Like a subtle blueberry raspberry hybrid. The subtlety with the vanilla crème was perfect. If you have the unfortunate experience of staying in this village, definitely go here.

Their katsu curry was a pleasant surprise as it was crispy and the meat was tender and juicy. The curry was as also flavorful without being too spicy. The udon, although was al dente and had a perfect texture, just wasn't my favorite just because I thought there were too many ginger and scallions which is not my preference but it would be a great choice if you like ginger and scallions. The sushi's were decent, nothing out of the ordinary but the rice temperature was just right but it wasn't well made as it was basically falling apart as soon as we picked it up. It's more like a Japanese bar vibe as they do have a bar (for alcohol and sushi) at the front of the restaurant so it was quite dark inside. The service was pretty standard and our server was friendly and attentive. Overall, this is a great option to try various dishes but it can get pricy especially if you're hungry as the portion sizes are on the smaller side. Also note that they only offer ramen for lunch so my kids were a little disappointed that it wasn't available when we went for dinner.

La Distillerie does mixed drinks like no other. They also do it with a heavy hand so while it may seem pricy to some, you definitely get what you pay for. My friend and I had some beer before arriving and then two drinks each here and both walked out very much not sober. The vibe is chill and a bit nostalgic and the menu options are exceptional. The people are pretty young especially during college break season but I've seen many adults served well at private tables by the friendly and super good looking bartenders. The bouncers are pretty cool dudes and have always been super friendly regardless of if you're a guy or a girl. The bar tenders are attentive and serve really fast and drink prices are fantastic when you compare cafe to Lounge Ryan S or any of the resto-bars in the village. Even bottles are reasonable. We bought bottles 2/4 nights because of how reasonable they are and the level of service that accompanied them (Elise is the best bartender I've had in my entire life). Djs were great and the owner was present and MCing all of the nights we were there. Last year's experience was very similar for the 10 days I spent in Tremblant. Overall there's not enough great things I can say about this club and I recommend it to anyone spending time in Tremblant.
