    French onion soup

We were greeted by Ross. Glad we made a reservation for 5:00pm on a Saturday as they had a number of larger groups coming later and would not have been able to experience this wonderful gem. The food was delicious and the atmosphere relaxed. We were given enough attention by Ross' staff but allowed to enjoy a two hour gastronomic delight. The fried cheese curds were spot on. Our party of four had the Elk stuffed cabbage with poutine, cedar plank salmon, French onion soup and an elk burger. Wrapped up with a crème brûlée and a poor man's pudding with homemade maple icecream. Both were fantastic. We will put Le Rustique on our must-hit places whenever we come north to Tremblant!

The Salmon Tartare was incredible as were the potatoes and fresh salad and homemade dressing.

Cancelled reservations at a different restaurant to return a 2nd night. So happy we did. Homemade is what this restaurant is about. Again, the owner was on site and the staff was always attentive from afar. Can't say enough about this restaurant if, like us, you are foodies who enjoy unexpected flavors and a great atmosphere. Thank you for the experience.

"Turf and turf": lamb chop and deer patty with roasted veggies
    Amy L.

This place is definitely for meat-lovers, especially game meat lovers, which is what they specialize in. My bf and I stopped in on a whim after hiking all day nearby in Mont Tremblant. It was about 5-5:30ish, and they were just about to start their dinner service. Ambiance was great: really "rustic" and homey-looking cabin features with a great patio space and little garden outside. Service was so-so: Although our waitress was incredibly sweet and tolerant of our non-existent French, she was also not very available. We had to wave and pin her down every time: when we wanted to order drinks, order food, get the bill, pay the bill, etc. The issue was that she was also on double duty at the bar and would disappear in the kitchen for lengthy periods of time. Food was surprisingly good: I'm not a big game meat person, but my entree, braised bison with sundried tomato sauce, was super savory and tender - not at all gamey. The venison tartare was delightful - paired with crisps and veggie slivers, it was smooth, light, and flavorful. My bf got the "turf and turf ", lamb chop in a deer patty with roasted veggies. It was good, but for the price, I thought that they were a bit skimpy on the ingredients.

    Poutine with duck

Beautiful ambience and nice wait staff. There is a lot of game on the menu so if you are a vegetarian, this is not your restaurant. My son said the duck poutine was the best of our trip and he also enjoyed the piglet legs. My husband had the wild boar. My daughter and I both had the bream. We started with the salmon tartare and cauliflower with mushroom sauce. Everything was delicious. And there is a nice pool table in the back that is fun between courses. The only negative was the music.

If you're looking for a spot that feels like a true alpine escape in the heart of the pedestrian village, this is it. I ordered the Montagnard Burger, and it was exactly what I needed after a few runs. The patty was juicy, well-seasoned, and held up perfectly in the bun. I paired it with the garlic fries, which were a standout--perfectly crispy with just the right amount of garlic punch. The real showstopper, however, was the CHALUMEAU. This isn't just a drink; it's a full experience. It's a rich, warming blend of Canadian maple whisky, Coureur des Bois, Frangelico, and a sharp hit of espresso. It's topped with a mountain of whipped cream and coffee beans, making it the ultimate "pick-me-up" for a cold day. The restaurant has a great energy--buzzing but still comfortable. The "journal" style food liners and the wooden interiors really lean into the heritage feel of Mont-Tremblant. Pro Tip: Definitely try the Chalumeau if you're a fan of espresso martinis or spiked coffees; it's easily one of the best après-ski drinks in the village!

Happened to pop in twice with two different types of crowds…read more First night came in with my younger cousins and sat at the bar. Rest of the family was home cooking dinner so we were really just grabbing a beverage and an app to split. There was live music, had a very difficult time understanding what he was singing even though we knew the songs. Bartender was very chill and did a great job. Place was busy so reservations would be ideal rather than popping in. Second night the other half of my family came for dinner. We had an appetizer of buffalo cauliflower which was good. I enjoyed my shepherds pie, grandfather liked his fish & chips (which I seen a lot of people order the night before). My uncle had chicken wings while my cousin had chicken sandwich, both were pleased with their meals as well. I imagine there is a lot of traffic from the hotel in the same plaza. Parking can be very difficult later in the evening. One thing that aggravated me was the lack of care to keep a clean sidewalk free if ice and snow. I say this because my girlfriend is disabled and where the handicap parking spot is the ramp and the sidewalk leading to the main entrance was covered in snow. Not only that anyone who is elderly would have difficulties walking as well.

They have hearty breakfast dishes. Many artery clogging meals. Fatty deep fried foods reign in their menu. The walls are covered with tvs. The service is fast and friendly. Plenty of parking. Last year they were fully booked for the Super Bowl. This summer they were crowded for the Mondial. The food is good enough not to scare away customers looking for a sports bar. Enjoy

Dropped by here to watch the Habs lose a game in spectacular fashion. What I find about this place…read moreis its odd location completely placed in the industrial section of Vimont. Went in with a buddy expecting a dive with hopefully better service than a place such as Le Cage des Sports and I got far more than expected. What received me is firstly a young energetic polity little lady in a micro skirt more than willing to seat me at some great booths. What really caught my attention? The 80+ screens all over the place. Mind you some of these were kinda overkill and the quality of them weren't the best I've seen but it was an impressive display. The service in general was exceptional for this type of place with this type of volume of clients. We were greeted by another charming little lady and beers were ordered, we got them mere minutes later. I felt like a big burger. Our food order was then taken and received WITHIN 15 MINUTES. Are you reading this Cage of Sports? A burger shouldn't take over an hour to provide to your clients! On top of it all, it was delicious with a fantastic moist bun that in general hit the spot. The rest of the night things well well with refills and I enjoyed watching the Habs lose once again. The price tag is decent as well. My only complaint about this place is the parking, their lot is far too small and in winter it can be a bit of a FUBAR. All in all, will visit again.

Well it's weird to review a town hall, but we were in the community hall side today to vote (yayyyy…read morefor doing our civic duty! huzzah for democracy!) and afterwards we played in the lovely park so I figured why not spread the good word in case you happen to be looking for a small event space or some swings in the middle of almost nowhere. I got you boo. The local library is here but I can't review it yet because it was closed today, the hours for the library are kind of rough but I'll get in there eventually mark my words! The community hall is quite small, maybe 50 person seated capacity. There is a small raised stage with a pool table on it - why I cannot say. Performance pool? The room is painted in the off whites and off yellows that are only sold to municipal buildings I assume. It's pretty cozy and it has its own entrance and parking on the lower side of the building, close to the park and the pool. Yes there is a tiny community pool out here in the woods and surrounded by the rolling hills. There is also a skating rink that's open from 10am to 22hrs in the winter, and a mini climbing wall, and kiddie jungle gym and slides, and an exercise area with a bunch of equipment. For a municipality that has about 2000 citizens this is an incredible wealth of sweet local services, and since it's right on the road to the secteur du Diable section of Tremblant Park maybe you'll get to check it out one of these days too!
