Stumbled upon this place coincidentally as we were late to our dinner reservation elsewhere and I am glad we did. Met with the sweetest staff who got a table ready for us. The menu was extensive, featuring various Italian dishes. We opted to get the pizza and Alfredo pasta and they were both delicious. The ambiance was intimate and absolutely delightful. Really cute spot! I did zero research and was expecting an Italian sandwich shop but it's actually a very nice upscale restaurant. (But it's not too upscale that you can't roll up in your ski gear.) They had a sign outside that said they were booked up, but when we asked they were able to squeeze us in :) Service was absolutely stellar. We started with some fresh, warm bread, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar which was a wonderful start to the meal. We had the chickpea "gnocchi" with olive hummus as an appetizer. The penne arrabbiata was delicious and genuinely so spicy! My friend had the spaghetti with peas, zucchini, and herbs that was a little more bland. They have several vegan options on the menu. Prices were reasonable for the area. Would definitely come back here! read more

Had a terrible experience. After reading the reviews we were looking forward to experiencing it ourselves and made reservations. Within 20 minutes after arriving we placed our orders. Drinks arrived in a timely manner and appetizers came 20 minutes after ordering which was acceptable. Then the issues began, Two people who arrived 20 minutes after us had their main course served before us while we waited. Then we noticed a number of tables of people who arrived after us had also been served. At this point we asked where are food was and were told it would be ready in 2 minutes. 10 minutes later no food, it had now been 50 minutes since we were served our appetizers and 1hour and 20 minutes since we ordered. We asked for the bill and paid for the drinks and appetizers with no apology for the awful experience. Very bad experience and would not recommend eating here. read more

Food was excellent and their service was excellent. I'm surprised they haven't received more reviews because they usually get a full house on a nightly basis during the holidays. Luckily, we made reservations in advanced. I highly recommend making reservations before going. They open at 5:30pm, so they only serve dinner. I ordered their Capesante, which is Fettuccini with Alfredo and pesto sauce and baby scallops. It was delicious! It was so good that I went back a second night to try their other dishes. The next time, I ordered their Agio, which is Fettuccini with Alfredo and mussels. The muscles didn't have shells, so it was very easy to eat. They give complimentary bread and it is made in house. It was really soft and crispy on the crust. Their pizza is also made in house. We ordered one of their pizzas that had ham and mushrooms. Their pizzas were soft and great for 2-3 people. Their portions are very big and great for their price, despite being in Mont Tremblant. The restaurant is very spacious and their washrooms are spacious and clean. I have been to Ital deli many times as my parents rent a cottage at Cap Tremblant , just "up the hill." The food is quite good. The beef carpaccio is generous and could stand alone as a main. The bread is fresh which everyone loves. The pastas are unique. I like the fico which is fog and sausage in a white sauce -yum. The ambience is great , nice fireplace as well as high ceilings. Country style and well put together with modern furnishings. Further, there is an ice sculpture outside , in season So, if you are staying at Cap Tremblant Ital Deli is where you should eat on your vacation. read more

Second visit in the past few years. It's always been for takeout pizza, so that's what this review is for. Service is great and timely and the locale is very cozy and inviting. They've also set up an out door terrace out front which looks nice. Pizza is good but not out of this world, probably #3 in the area from those tried. It's rare when I ask hubs after a meal what his Yelp rating would be, that he responds with "a 5". He just doesn't give them out generously. This meal however, a 5 star without hesitation. Perhaps it was the fried gnocchi? Yea, I said fried gnocchi!! Perhaps it was because we had just come from 6 hours of pure relaxation at the spa? Perhaps he just reeeeeallly enjoyed this cozy candle lit, delicious Italian meal paired with fantastic reds with impeccable service in a sweet ski town where deer wait for you by the front door? Hmmm, not sure, but he LOVED it all! So did I! We started with dairy free potato leek soup on special. I'm not sure how they made it so creamy without dairy, but dang! I had the stuffed artichokes which were the perfect consistency and extremely tasty! I should've asked how they make them. He ordered the fried gnocchi which he absolutely couldn't get enough of and the béchamel alfredo with his choice of handmade pasta. He went with penne, cooked perfectly al dente. We both agree the true testament to a great Italian place is sometimes just sampling a simple pasta dish. This was one perfect. We then split the potato, asparagus, pesto pizza. Fantastic. Not too doughy, covered with toppings and full of flavor. Our waiter was phenomenal. Kind, filled with recommendations, on point menu descriptions, on top of everything and hilarious with his little French accent to boot! The entire menu boasts of much more creative takes on classic Italian fare. There's something for everyone. Don't shy away if you're vegan or gluten free, they have options for you! The little spot in the heart of town, with table for two by the window in the corner, with a simple candle, a bottle of red and a champagne toast was just enough to make our experience here a romantic one. There's exposed brick, a roaring fireplace and a big white barn sliding door. I kind of wanted it to be snowing out, it was so darn inviting and warm inside. We'll have to come back when it is. As if the food and service wasn't enough, we were sent on our way by a baby doe just outside the front door as we left. Apparently this isn't unusual! Very cool! Topped off our night perfectly. Great place to go for a relaxed Italian dinner, off the resort. They have a decent wine list and we really enjoyed our meal. It was a busy Friday night and service was still perfect. My family and I (my husband, and two sons 13 & 11) had a wonderful experience at Ital Delli. We had an early reservation for 5:30. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed into the nice, roomy restaurant. We loved having a table where we didn't feel we were sitting on top of another party. Our server Carol was incredibly nice, funny, and helpful. My boys commented after we left that he was the nicest server they have ever had and I agree! The food was great! Kids devoured the house made bread. I started with the potato soup, it was amazing! My husband & sons shared the carpaccio which they loved. We also shared the antipasto, also very good. My sons each ordered the spaghetti bolognese, I couldn't believe they ate every bite as the serving size was large! My husband ordered the cannelloni which he absolutely loved. I ordered the cod. The vegetables that came with it were delicious- cod was fine. I was just so full and definitely over ordered. I had lunch here and had a very great experience. The food was great, and the staff was very nice and helpful. I got a pizza, my mom and sister got the soup of the day to start off with (it was a carrot soup with braised beef), and my dad had the Caesar salad. My mom and sister were both in love with the soup. I thought my pizza was pretty good. For my mom and sister's main dish, they each got the pasta bolognese which they also enjoyed. I don't do many 5 star ratings, but this restaurant deserves it. I came here for lunch, and ordered off the fixed-priced menu, which includes a soup or salad, entree and dessert for around $25. I ordered the soup de jour, which was a carrot soup with braised beef. Not a combination I would think of, but it was SO DELICIOUS! I wish I could have taken some home with me! For my entree, I got pasta bolognese. It was really tasty. For dessert I had an apple crisp and a tiramisu, which were both excellent. Our waiter was also very friendly. He let us practice our French with him and was very patient. I plan on coming back again to Ital Deli! You should also come, don't listen to any bad reviews. My wife and I we're staying in the village for a getaway, we love Italian so wanted to try this place out, boy where we happy we did. Atmosphere and service was top notch, and the table d'hote was very reasonable, as was the wine. We both chose the pasta as our main course, and were not disappointed. I'm a big fan of arribiata sauces so whenever it's on the menu, I order it. I've tried many over the years, and I have to say their's is one of the best, if not the best I've ever had! I will definitely be recommending it to all I know and will for sure be back for it the next time we stay in Tremblant. read more

This place was awesome. We spent the last few days on the mountain, and quite honestly the food is mediocre at best. We are normally here in the winter, and stay in the village for a week without leaving. From now on, we will take the short drive to eat real food. We sampled a number of pasta dishes, fettuccine, spaghetti carbonara, and rigatoni bolognese. They were all very fresh, and perfectly cooked. We also had a few desserts, also exceptional. They had a nice wine list by the glass, in addition to a decent selection of bottles. A five minute drive from the mountain, but miles away from the average meal you will get if you stay put. read more

I understand that it was recently remodeled. Modern, open space with fireplace, big flat screen TV over the bar and visible kitchen. My eggplant parmesan was nontraditional but the best I ever had. I enjoyed my Bloody Caesar cocktail as well. My husband had veal scallopini topped with a smoked cheese and served with pasta. We also shared sliced tomatoes with mozzarella, shallots and balsamic vinegar. For desert we ordered apple crisp with ice cream but it was too soft for my taste. Having seen all of the good reviews this restaurant got on this site we decided to have dinner there tonight. We were totally disappointed in the food and service. Do NOT go or send anyone to this restaurant. Disappointing, and uninspiring. They brought the wrong pasta appitiser took it away and said it would be 10 min, then 20min later brought out the entrees and told us that Chef said No he wasn't going to make what we ordered. They then proceeded to ignore us for the rest of the evening. With so many choices of restaurants to have dinner. Leave this one off your list. read more

Not impressed at all!! As a foodie and as a very frequent visitor to the old Ital Deli, I must admit the new owners, who are also the managers, have really missed the boat for this to be successful. Was just there for a week during the Ironman week. The food was just mediocre, but what really got to me was I ordered a simple pasta dish--Linguini Vongole and asked for mushrooms to be added for which I was happy to pay extra for. The server Chantelle was excellent but only when the pasta was served did she say that the chef would not add mushrooms to it nor would he provide me with a side order of mushrooms. Well who is the paying customer here?? If I want an order of mushrooms then I expect to get them unless the restaurant does not have any. Don't tell me I can't have mushrooms when you put the plate in front of me. Tell me that when I order it! At least then I have a choice to change my mind on what I might order. This was just one example of a 2 night visit to this restaurant. The other night was even worse with a waiter letting a glass of water slip out of his hand and break all over the dinner of someone else at our table. Great Italian restaurant with an authentic menu and elegant ambiance. Reasonably priced and their sauces are delicious. I got the carbonara, which tasted a bit different than your normal carbonara in that the sauce wasn't quite as white or heavy, but that is not to say that it was not still a great meal. read more

We were very disappointed at how slow the service was especially since their website says that they do not like making their customers wait and only two tables were being waited on. We had to wait half an hour for our bill to be brought over. The waiter was also quite rude towards us and ignored us for the entire night. DO NOT waste your time AND money with this restaurant. There are many more authentic Italian options in Mont Tremblant that have better food selection and atmosphere. read more

I'm surprised at the previous review and sorry they had a negative experience. We have eaten there many times, both at the old location and the new, and have enjoyed ourselves every time. The new location is noisier and less intimate than the old but nonetheless worth going to in my opinion. read more
