I had a few old fashions that were made with love that were perfect as well as the lady who made them.

The food was good. Not great but good. Beer selection was not good. But the vibe of the place was fun and the service was real good.

We were too old - bunch of kids here. Place was too packed - but might have been fun 10 years ago.

If you're looking for a spot that feels like a true alpine escape in the heart of the pedestrian village, this is it. I ordered the Montagnard Burger, and it was exactly what I needed after a few runs. The patty was juicy, well-seasoned, and held up perfectly in the bun. I paired it with the garlic fries, which were a standout--perfectly crispy with just the right amount of garlic punch. The real showstopper, however, was the CHALUMEAU. This isn't just a drink; it's a full experience. It's a rich, warming blend of Canadian maple whisky, Coureur des Bois, Frangelico, and a sharp hit of espresso. It's topped with a mountain of whipped cream and coffee beans, making it the ultimate "pick-me-up" for a cold day. The restaurant has a great energy--buzzing but still comfortable. The "journal" style food liners and the wooden interiors really lean into the heritage feel of Mont-Tremblant. Pro Tip: Definitely try the Chalumeau if you're a fan of espresso martinis or spiked coffees; it's easily one of the best après-ski drinks in the village!

We weren't very hungry so just ordered a couple of dishes including their pork gyoza, katsu curry, udon and 2 sushi rolls. Their pork gyoza, although seemed like they're store bought frozen ones, was decent and I like it how it's pan fried with a starch slurry to make a crispy bottom instead of it being deep fried. Their katsu curry was a pleasant surprise as it was crispy and the meat was tender and juicy. The curry was as also flavorful without being too spicy. The udon, although was al dente and had a perfect texture, just wasn't my favorite just because I thought there were too many ginger and scallions which is not my preference but it would be a great choice if you like ginger and scallions. The sushi's were decent, nothing out of the ordinary but the rice temperature was just right but it wasn't well made as it was basically falling apart as soon as we picked it up. It's more like a Japanese bar vibe as they do have a bar (for alcohol and sushi) at the front of the restaurant so it was quite dark inside. The service was pretty standard and our server was friendly and attentive. Overall, this is a great option to try various dishes but it can get pricy especially if you're hungry as the portion sizes are on the smaller side. Also note that they only offer ramen for lunch so my kids were a little disappointed that it wasn't available when we went for dinner.

We also love that there is a great view of the stage and shade from the blistering mid-day sun. Each flavor of the edamame appetizer was delish. We were disappointed to hear that they got rid of the bento box since the last time we visited in 2024 so I hope they bring it back for 2026. It was always delicious. The sushi is always great here - fresh and full of flavor.
