I came here on a Saturday night, and it was $10 cover, and we waited 10 -15 minutes before getting in. Service is slower upstairs because it's busy, and the music playing is top 40 and club hits. Downstairs is a spacious lounge with electronic music, more seating area, and faster service. The washrooms are downstairs. There is no elevator access downstairs. read more

Le P'tit Caribou - Bars Near Me - Mont-Tremblant, Quebec

As a business owner, myself and three friends are shocked by the poor customer service and quality of food we received at this establishment while on vacation. We arrived at 2pm and waited over an hour to receive our food order without any updates from our server on its status. The restaurant was at around 50% capacity when we arrived so not overly busy. Two tables around us received their food before we did despite us having arrived first. It appeared they forgot our order. When we did receive our food, it was ice cold and two of us did not receive our orders at all. A different server asked 10 minutes later if we got one of the orders yet and we advised not yet. He became visibly frustrated. We asked to speak to a manager. We spoke with Justin who turns out to be one of the owners. This interaction was perhaps the most concerning of all for two of us who own successful businesses and prioritize customer experience above all else. Another one of us is a manager of a major brand and another has over 10 years of customer service experience, so our experience is not just a "customer scorned" or "customer is always right." All four of us found Justin to be combative, argumentative, defensive, and non apologetic. He did not take the time to even hear what happened, make any amends to our order, or take initiative to improve our experience. He was immediately dismissive, argumentative, and rude. We felt dismissed, unheard, and eventually left hungry because he told us if we don't like it we can leave. Someone else shared in another review that he was arrogant. 100% accurate. As a woman, I especially do not recommend this establishment given his behaviour towards me. I feel gross and like you would after gaslighting from my interactions with this man. We all felt unwelcome and ultimately like WE had done something wrong even though we had late, cold, missing food. Other recent reviews on here are from women being physically assaulted and folks feeling discriminated against! It's clearly from the position of power this man is in and how he treats people. We would not recommend this establishment. Atmosphere: 5 stars. Proclaimed the best apre-ski in North america. They got two areas: Upstairs playing popular music, got a table where people get up on dance. Great party atmosphere. Downstairs: more relaxed vibe, people are playing flip cup, and there is a popcorn machine. Food: 3 stars Got large nachos, they were insanely large and equally salty. This place has some of the best food in the area. If you're there at a time when après-ski isn't in full swing, you can grab a seat at the bar and get phenomenal service. Our bartender was incredibly friendly and informative. He gave great meal suggestions and made delicious craft cocktails. I wish we had eaten here every night. read more

With its reputation as the best apres-ski place on the east coast, we had to go for atleast a drink or two. If I was not on a family trip, I probably would have made a whole afternoon/evening of it. Absolutely terrible establishment. We went there for New Years (after buying tickets for $65 a piece), only to find a hundred people waiting outside and completely inept management. The crowd was justifiably restless, since everyone had a ticket, and began to jostle at the door. When I tried to present my ticket, I was thrown to the ground by the bouncers, repeatedly kicked in the ribs, and forcibly removed by MTPD working for this sorry excuse for a bar. This place is a farce and I would not wish a night here on my worst enemy. If you want to be treated like garbage and physically abused by the staff, then this is the place for you! read more

If you're looking for a place to party in the village at the Trembly and don't mind a mixed crowd, Le P'Tit Caribou is where you want to be! We ended up here almost every night during our trip to the resort, and I was impressed enough to wish for a similar place in Toronto. Le P'Tit has a very let loose kind of atmosphere, and you're likely to see everyone (tourists and locals alike) dancing on the bar sometime before 12am and lasting well past 2am! The place has quite reputation as being one of the wildest ski bars in the world, and I have to say it doesn't disappoint. The bar starts to get packed at around 11, and stays busy past 3am when it closes. The music is a lot of the expected top 40s but the local DJ does a pretty satisfying job! The bar staff are mostly nice, and the drink prices vary from ~$4-10/ depending on the night! Definitely worth a visit if you're staying at the village read more

My friends and I had a terrible experience with the bouncer at Caribou. He was incredibly rude to my friend and called her an offensive name as she was entering the bar. When another one of my friends politely told him she didn't think that sort of language was necessary, he told her to stand in the cold for five minutes to "cool down" before he would let her enter. It was a bizarre, sexist encounter that was incredibly unprofessional. We told the manager about the incident and were told that nothing would be done and that the bouncer refused to apologize. I went to Le P'Tit Caribou for New Years Eve. I can imagine this bar would be really fun any other day of the year, but on New Years Eve, it charged people $70 to get in. All night the bar was half empty and played terrible music. I do not recommend coming to this bar if they are charging cover, as it is not worth paying to get in. read more

Complete piece of crap. The bartender Alex was great when we got in, but was absolutely packed and out of control when the night started. The bouncers should all be arrested and put in jail. My older brother, who is 28 years old and has never been in a fight, let alone done anything to provoke one, saw a fight break out and the bouncers did not see it for a few minutes. He realized that one of the employees was in the fight and losing. He stepped in to try to pull the drunk tourist off of one of THEIR employees to help them out and was punched 4-5 times in the face. After that, another bouncer grabbed him by the throat and dragged him out into the snow. He was repeatedly saying that he wasn't fighting and would gladly leave if that's what they wanted. When he was thrown down, already outside the bar, the bouncer continued to punch him in the face while my brother held his hands over his face and begged him to stop. After rolling away, the bouncer finally stopped and his whole head and face were swollen. I approached the bouncer and asked why they would ever do that, and he told me that he shouldn't have been near the fight. Worst bar in tremblant and I hope they get sued and shut down. Tremblant better do something about this bar and we will never come back because of them read more
