This was our first stop on the Rattle snake Hill. Trails. A party of 9 with one employee was ahead of us. She was very nice and apologized for how long it took we didn't mind, the large group was quite demanding. We purchased a sweet delicious Orange port from there. The Malbec had black grainy sediments & the Muscat port had a weird sludge debris on the side of the glass. When she noticed she gave us a different glass. I loved the gift shop. And will be back to buy gifts & the Orange port again!

    Such a beautiful tasting room.

This was one of the first wineries in the area and one of the best. They were the first and still few to produce a beautiful dry and sweet Picpoul Blanc. Their Viognier is spectacular and their Orange Muscat dessert wines are simple and beautiful. Let's not even get into their reds... Okay, I will. Big, bold and rich Pinor Noir, Malbec and Petit Verdot are musts. To top it all off they have a Rose Port that tastes as beautiful as it sounds.

A nice view of the tasting room at Tanjuli Winery. This shows their huge mural and lovely barrels.

A good selection of wines, enhanced by the expert commentary of the winery owner. A very nice way to spend a sunny day in the Yakima valley.

The owner pours. He's very serious but also informative! The way he makes his own sherry and ports is intriguing!

I also learned so much about fruit, when its the best time to get it in the stores and/or from a fruit stand- their knowledge was amazing. This farm has been operating and serving communities in Seattle WA since the 80's, that tells you a lot about a business. Wow The couple who own this place are just the best and their personally brings the best vibes in this place. We went for my besties birthday and then I came back for my birthday and it was AMAZING. OH, and then we went to Spring Barrel, and they blew the whole experience out of the water. They had Zac, who is not only cute/single, and brings his own set up, his voice is amazing. The whole crowd was pleasant, happy, and ready to party!! (Far from it, but kind of...for Zillah). Not only did they have the cutest outdoor seating, but they also have this deck that sits right where the sun goes down, in the Spring time. As many of you know, the summer time in the Yakima and Seattle are longer than many other states and cities. The sun doesn't go down until about 9:00pmishhhhh, which is nice for hanging out. So the grapes are different and the fruit, and the people too. They have a delicious variety of wine, wine tasting, and bottles to purchase, if you're looking to wine taste, add this one to your stops, you will thank me on Yelp later. Have a great time, and tell them Daisha sent you!!!

I was even invited to see the actual wine production , which felt incredibly special. Under their guidance, I got to apply foil and pack my very first bottle of wine. We tasted a wide variety of wines, had lovely conversations, and even took walks together -- it truly felt like visiting family. The place itself feels like a little piece of California. Coming from rainy Bellevue, it was such a refreshing change. The tasting room is beautifully situated in the middle of the vineyards, offering a unique opportunity to see, feel, and experience how the grapes are grown. There aren't enough kind or heartfelt words to fully describe how wonderful this experience was. I highly recommend visiting this place. P.S. If you're lucky, try to reserve the charming cottage owned by the same family. The sunny terrace with views of the vineyard and Mount Rainier is absolutely stunning
