I've been coming to this winery for years now and always receive excellent service. Our favorite thing to do is to each get a mimosa flight, though I will say that the mimosa offerings have been a bit less than inspired over the last 2 years or so. Back in the day, they had some really interesting ones. My mom and i had a blood orange and thyme mimosa one year that we still talk about, along with a caramelized pear. This year however, the juice selection tasted like juice mix or at least something overly sweet and bottled -- I think the flavors were passion, orange, mango, and guava, so while they tasted all right, it wasn't exactly the experience we have looked forward to in the past. We shared a goat cheese sampler that was covered in some fresh, tasty fruit. My mom doesn't really like goat cheese, but we both thoroughly enjoyed the snacks. Overall, I always love visiting this winery, though I think the mimosas could be a bit more inventive/higher quality for how good their wine is.

We enjoyed the wines - some were actually very nice and a couple had a good 10+ years of aging! My better half had a full glass after, I had a local IPA. We liked it so much, we bought a couple bottles and we joined their wine club! It was such a pleasant place - I wish we had a place like that here in our town. Highly recommended! My tenderloin was cooked to perfection, and accompanied by some sweet little roasted carrots and a lovely heap of mashed potatoes. My friend reported that her pork was more like a stew, and she really enjoyed it. It really did all the heavy lifting when it came to creating a truly memorable and beautiful outdoor wedding. Neither my husband nor myself are from the area, but we wanted to do a wedding in central Washington since the weather is more dependable in late summer compared to our area in Seattle. So we took a real gamble in doing a wedding in Naches with little knowledge of the region and we're so happy it paid off! The memory of the sun setting over our outdoor dinner reception is one that'll stay with me forever. As for Amy, she was a total dream to work with. She was so patient and calmly fielded every question I threw her way from venue logistics to decor rentals to day-of scheduling. And on the actual *day* of my wedding, she was busy overseeing clean-up of the venue, making sure everything was running smoothly with vendors, and even drove a forklift to move our reception rentals from the parking lot to the main lawn for us. She takes real pride in the upkeep and presentation of her venue as well as making sure her clients are taken care of and it really, really shows. Service was OK, they bring you pre-poured if you sit outside, and they may check back in on you if they aren't too busy. It seemed our server was on the new side, and she told us 4 times she had only been there a few days. Inside, I think it might be a more traditional experience, but can't confirm. There is also a good-sized seating area inside - and you're able to see the other vintage/varietals available for purchase. Wines by the glass are available, but not for everything, and only for bottles they have already opened. I wanted to try their Sangiovese, but they weren't pouring it, and bummer they didn't have one open to taste - I would have loved to try it. I recommend (based upon my palate) the Abbot's Table and the Sinister Hand (fun background story as well). I didn't care for the rose - it was sweeter than I prefer. Regardless, come visit and you're bound to find something to suit your taste. So why 4-stars? For the wine tasting portion, whenever you are ready for your next wine, you have to get up and walk to the counter. I've been to other wine tastings before and I found this a little strange because usually they will come around with the bottle and pour it for you so you can stay comfy in your seat. While our trip to the winery was a nice break from the chaos of Bass Canyon, I don't think we'll be back here again unless it's just to grab a couple of glasses of wine.
