Of all the wineries we visited in Yakima, this one definitely had the best scenery... That counts for something when you are coming east of the Cascades for some R&R on the weekend. I can see exactly where the weddings must take place. There is a large glass clearing overlooking a good chunk of Yakima Valley. The winery itself sits on a small rise from some of the other wineries nearby. Come on a quieter day so that you can snag a seat somewhere and soak in the view. Inside, we were treated to the Spring Barrel Tasting lineup. The bar is spacious and set against the lagre barrels in the back of the building. The wines were not particularly impressive overall. The first white was particularly mediocre and didn't set high expectations for the whole group. If I was judging solely on wines and comparing to my collective wine experience: somewhere between a 2 and a 3. The amazing landscape and the friendly service provides the extra 1.5 stars here. I'll be back for the view. The wine? Maybe

I had very high hopes for this place. My friends love their wine so we decided to go. We went there around 1pm on a Sunday in mid-October. As we walked in the person behind the counter was talking to a friend and looked at us like, thanks for interrupting us what do you want. Then she proceeded to speed us through the tasting, not really interested in pouring wine or even being there. We did leave with a couple of bottles but probably won't be going back. Beautiful winery, good wine, too many fruit flies. Crappy service.

This was the most ultimate wine tasting place .... We went at closing and realized the place had just closed ... As we were admiring the property on foot , Vinnie opened the door and said "come on in "! We were poured a glass of wine and inspired to have a seat overlooking the vineyards .... Vinnie then gave us the experience of trying grapes Fresh off the vine... And the juice that was just pressed.... Merlot, Cabernet, and Riesling. The experience was serene , peaceful and memorable...this is a must do for all that want to see and experience a Washington Vineyard. Oh .... The wine was outstanding as well !

Very friendly staff. Fun atmosphere and great wine. Can't ask for much more from a winery. Very neat property.

I also learned so much about fruit, when its the best time to get it in the stores and/or from a fruit stand- their knowledge was amazing. This farm has been operating and serving communities in Seattle WA since the 80's, that tells you a lot about a business. Wow The couple who own this place are just the best and their personally brings the best vibes in this place. We went for my besties birthday and then I came back for my birthday and it was AMAZING. OH, and then we went to Spring Barrel, and they blew the whole experience out of the water. They had Zac, who is not only cute/single, and brings his own set up, his voice is amazing. The whole crowd was pleasant, happy, and ready to party!! (Far from it, but kind of...for Zillah). Not only did they have the cutest outdoor seating, but they also have this deck that sits right where the sun goes down, in the Spring time. As many of you know, the summer time in the Yakima and Seattle are longer than many other states and cities. The sun doesn't go down until about 9:00pmishhhhh, which is nice for hanging out. So the grapes are different and the fruit, and the people too. They have a delicious variety of wine, wine tasting, and bottles to purchase, if you're looking to wine taste, add this one to your stops, you will thank me on Yelp later. Have a great time, and tell them Daisha sent you!!!

I was even invited to see the actual wine production , which felt incredibly special. Under their guidance, I got to apply foil and pack my very first bottle of wine. We tasted a wide variety of wines, had lovely conversations, and even took walks together -- it truly felt like visiting family. The place itself feels like a little piece of California. Coming from rainy Bellevue, it was such a refreshing change. The tasting room is beautifully situated in the middle of the vineyards, offering a unique opportunity to see, feel, and experience how the grapes are grown. There aren't enough kind or heartfelt words to fully describe how wonderful this experience was. I highly recommend visiting this place. P.S. If you're lucky, try to reserve the charming cottage owned by the same family. The sunny terrace with views of the vineyard and Mount Rainier is absolutely stunning
