Nice option for a break from the beach. Family friendly and optimal selection of stores from which to choose.

I visited this location on a Monday afternoon with two other people. These are my thoughts and observations. - Tanger wasn't all that crowded when we visited, so finding a parking spot was easy. - There is a massive selection of stores to peruse. You're bound to find something you like. - The food court only has 4 restaurants and a dessert place. I would recommend eating elsewhere if you can wait. - The premises were clean and well shaded. Overall, if you're an hour away or less, I'd highly recommend visiting Tanger Outlet Mall for an excellent shopping experience. read more

I didn't have much time to look in the stores and they had a lot of parking, but it was still tough to find a spot. But they defiently have cheaper prices on high quality merchandise. There is a lot of stores in this outlet versus other Tanger outlets I have been in previously. I'd definetly recommend it and will check it out again when I come back to town. read more

I visit this Tanger Outlets every year when I make my break away for the beach in summer. They're only a few miles drive from where I stay which is even better. And on that note, not much further away you can find the mall and Barefoot's Landing. If you don't find what you're looking for at MB within these few miles of shopping I'd be surprised. Here they have all the stores you've come to expect at Tanger. Athletic stores include Adidas, Asics, Underarmour and even Lululemon (the icing on the cake really). Clothing stores in general include Old Navy, Loft, Gap, Banana Republic. There's even a Northface store here though I can't imagine how they ever do any business considering they literally only sell jackets. Actually, as I reflect, in general this is a fairly disappointing outlet mall. The stores are few and honestly just don't carry what the usual iterations of these stores do carry. I suppose that's the sacrifice we make with outlets. Just don't go off on a buying spree simply because you can suddenly afford more though, ya dig? read more

Very calm, clean outlet. Every store I visited had very friendly attendants. The prices are good but not the lowest I have found at other similar factory outlet shops, I just visited a major outlet in Virginia and the prices were about 25% cheaper there. Overall a good place to visit to do a little shopping. read more

Tanger Outlets Myrtle Beach Hwy 17 - Outlet Stores Near Me - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

I frequent this shopping center on my visits to North myrtle beach 4-6 times yearly. They have a great location close to hwy 22. They have some of my favorite stores that have few locations nationwide, Disney outlet, Lululemon outlet and under armour are my favorites. This time when I visited, I stopped at the customer service desk to get a giftcard that I had gotten a text about. They had plenty of measures in place to covid 19, but the lady at the customer service desk was not prepared. We arrived 5 minutes after the center's opening time and she didn't have her cash til and other things in place, so I had to wait til she got settled, another 5 minutes. She also wasn't familiar with the giftcard promotion so she pushed back and when I showed her my text, she had to consult with another employee before honoring it. (I had received the text the day before, so I didn't understand why it was so problematic) The center is well kept, and they have beautiful decor during the holidays. They have a few fast casual restaurants, five guys, Starbucks, Charley's etc, but nothing sit down like. My tip is to sign up for coupons online, they send 20% off deals alot. read more

I lost my gotdamned mind at this outlet! The savings were unbeatable. We made a bee-line to Banana Republic, American Eagle Outfitters, Kay Jewelers and Kenneth Cole. Traveling with a large party, I wasn't able to check out ALL the stores. Next time, I'm visiting ALL of the stores. I've got my eye on Coach and Ralph Lauren. read more

It's an outlet mall. A big outlet mall. The signage is sparse. We had to go in one shop to ask if there were a particular shop in the mall because none of the four directional signs we had seen mentioned the shop we wanted. The prices are what you expect. The shops are pretty typical of Tanger Outlets throughout the country. Some days you'll find some great deals; on other days you won't. If you like the outlet park/mall/center experience, you'll want to stop jere. read more

Hey, I am a self confessed shoping lover but normally I don't like shops that you will find in standard malls, like Belks, Macy's etc. so I shop online a lot or in one off stores. Tanger is an ok place to go to thought because the plethora of shops to browse and here and there, there is certainly a deal to be found. This location specifically is probably my favorite of all Tanger outlets but it gets pretty busy with bus loads of people coming in. read more

5 stars for Alan the tailor at the Polo Ralph Lauren shop here! He was awesome! 4 stars for the other stores collectively. We enjoy coming here every summer while on vacation. Great selection of stores and good prices. We will be back next summer. read more

Rainy days are a great time to come to the Outlet Mall! I love that this mall is mostly covered so you can stay dry! There are tons of great stores! I personally did not think the "outlet prices" seemed much different than normal prices but there were coupon books available for even more savings. We'd definitely return! read more

Deceived ( lied to ) at the VANS shoe outlet, read on. I went in and asked for a black leather shoe and they said they had them, they brought a shoe with white soles that was black that had no shine and they said that it would shine up. I found after I returned home that the shoe would NOT shine up because it was NOT leather as the Two sales people stated. Yes, I know buyer beware, BUT I didn't expect people at the Vans shoe store to act like used car salesman and lie to make $49.95. No, I'm not driving 2 1/2 hours to get my money back and just wanted you to know my terrible experience!!! Do yourself a favor and avoid this business! read more

This outlet mall has a variety of everything. They are very kid friendly for families with children because they have outdoor kid rides and kid stores here and there throughout the place. Their food section doesnt have much variety to choose from but it is in doors. read more

And the picture explains why I need to stay the hell out the Stowe(store)! On vacation enjoying my foodie habits biggest competition...shopping. I must do while there is also the Fudgery which makes ridiculously delicious flour free fudge and the Italian ice stand where they use real fruit! read more

Lots of stuff! Better than the hwy 501 location. No Nike over here unfortunately though. Avoid this place on rainy days during tourist season. Packed, and nowhere to park read more

I love going here because I can go to the top stores and get great items at a good price! Would definitely come back and suggest anyone to stop at your nearest Tanger outlet. read more

This is my favorite outlet center hands down!! I plan my vacation around my shopping trip here and usually come 2-3 times per year. I have never had trouble finding a parking space and the checkout lines at the stores move quickly. There are a several fast food places to get a bite to eat and there is a Starbucks and a Ben and Jerry's. The individual stores usually have good to great sales and there are a few speciality stores that I love - Spartina, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Harry and David. If you are a shopper, you won't regret a visit here! read more

Pretty good assortment of stores, getting in and out of parking is a nightmare though.

We found a lot of great deals here. Can't wait to go back there again. I was able to get the kids back to school things for amazing prices! We went there in august. read more

I like these outlets more than the location on 501 due to the variety, but this one is a much further drive from where my partner and I live. We still make the trip out here from time to time just for the larger selection of stores. Polo, our favorite store, has a much larger selection at this location also, but again it is such a long haul. When we have time to make it out there early, we go up there for the stores we do not have on 501, but if you want to save time and live closer to the ones just outside Conway they may be your best bet... most stores can order what they do not have in stock and more often than not you can get free shipping on items when ordered in store. read more

My family and I visited Tanger Outlets in August 2021 in hopes of some light shopping while on vacation. The parking lot is very difficult to navigate but much easier than locating any specific store you would like to visit. My grandmother had difficulty walking the distance from the parking space we managed to finally get to any given store she would have liked to browse inside and finding it was half the battle. The stores are not in rows but more like in a huge web of branching sections that somewhat intersect in some places. Also, a fair warning, come with full wallets because the "sales" posted are not sales at all... yes everything may be advertised as a huge 30-40% off, but at prices that seem jacked up so that everything is more so the typical price you might find in the regular stores at home. I'm not understanding the hype at all. We didn't see any real sales anywhere. An overall let down and waste of time. We not only left empty handed, but worn out from all the walking and frustrated from all the searching... I give a thumbs up on cleanliness and overall appearance, but reconsider the layout and pricing for sure! read more

Great trip to the outlets - huge place so lots of walking involved. Great collection of stores!

If you're ever at myrtle and want to do shopping then you should definitely come here. I mean who doesn't like sales? There's a variety of stores ranging from Kate spades to adidas to American eagle. But the one store I love going to is north face. There's not many north face outlets where I'm from so getting a rain jacket for 50 bucks is quite a huge deal compared to 130. I mean if you don't like north face there are plenty of other stores with a huge sale. It's usually bogo. Right now a lot of stores have shorts on sale so hey if you need some go check it out! There seems to be some construction going on as well so maybe new stores are coming soon. The cafeteria here is alright. But they do have Charley's philly steak, five guys, and a Chinese place. read more

There was not a single XL in the entire store. I have plenty of Calvin Klein clothing in that size so it's not like it doesn't exist. I'm so sick of these outlet stores that refuse to carry bigger sizes, especially when the retailer makes them. read more

I am a huge fan! This outlet is one of the bigger outlets I've been to, I went on a major shopping spree here! Especially in the Forever21, although it's pretty much the same price as non outlet store prices though although the clearance aisle was a lot more clean and organized. They have a large variety of stores as well as a few dessert places. I ended up walking out with a cute scrub top from the uniform store too! We do have outlets back in New England but it's always nice to see other varieties down south even though they essentially have the same stores, but not always the same items! read more

The outlet is huge and they have a lot of stores. I liked that there was a 5 Guys in the food court. I felt some of the outlets were higher priced here than at other locations of tanger. If you are in the shopping mood I would suggest come to the outlets. read more

Sooo many bargains here! If you have an AAA card you can show it at the customer service desk to get a free coupon book. Each store also offers many specials also! Don't come hungry...there are only a few fast food places to grab a bite to eat! read more

Very limited outlet mall. It is one of the lesser stores of the two outlet here. It have everything you need. I think this place has less bargain during the time we have visit - Labor Day week. However all the store are concentrated with three rows. Easy access and not able to get lost. All rows has interconnect walkway. read more

Love this mall tons of stores and friendly staff it a cool hangout so check it out. Got a food court

Loads of selection, good coupon offers and nice staff at most of the shops. I often make this a destination when I am down visiting my mom. This is a big outlet mall, bigger and better, in my opinion, than the other one nearby. If it is very hot or cold or rainy, dress appropriately for the weather because you will spend a lot of time outdoors. The food court is of no interest, mostly junk food. My favorite stores in this mall: Loft Outlet - good quality for an outlet and priced very well; Kenneth Cole - really good quality and great deals; Nine West - I always find good deals here and lots of selection. Not such good stores: NY & Co - low quality; Coach - not a good selection and still expensive; Nautica - expensive; I don't think this is even an outlet store If you are a member of AARP or AAA, you can pick up a free coupon booklet which has deals for most stores. If you are not in one of those groups, they make you pay for coupons, which seems to defeat the purpose to me and makes me subtract a star. read more

While visiting SC we visited the Tanger Outlets several times. They have a pretty good store selection. During the time we went there wasn't much going on. What I did like is they have a Tanger Outlets club that you can join. It was a $10 lifetime membership. With that membership once we spent $50 we got this one bag that was kinda like a straw type bag. They also had a deal that if you bought a mall gift card for I believe it was $10 you got $20. Once you spent I believe it was $200 you received a nice leather bag. Whoop Whoop! During all the Tanger Outlets we visited during that time we racked up on those rewards. There is a App that you can download to upload your receipts so when you reach a milestone you get the reward. At each outlet once you have the reward (or coupon) you see the customer service desk, and you receive a free coupon book. (If you have any rewards you will receive them at this time too) The coupon book we really didn't use, but some coupons worked out awesomely. read more

My wife loves the Coach store at Tanger, and now I'm falling in love with Tanger shopping outlet

Always a go to during Myrtle Beach adventures. Wish there was a way you could feel more welcome like an area to relax at welcome Center - not feel like cattle lining up to get to desk and one way out that is through concessions area. Tanger's in MI seem to show more appreciation. read more

Very nice mall! Loved the outlet stores and the prices weren't too bad. Does get a little hot I noticed during the summer weather. Wished there were some big fans around to cool off. But other than that loved the place. read more

My DH and I are here in Myrtle Beach for a month so if you don't play golf and it's to cold to swim you go shopping. It is cloudy today so we went here and did some gift purchases we needed to get before we went home. I really like this place as it's not so huge you're to exhausted to go to all the stores. Vanity Fair is my favorite. read more

When we come down to MB to visit my mother-in-law, we often make a trip out to the Tanger Outlets. It's a fairly clean outdoor outlet mall with some decent stores. Being an outlet mall, most of the shops have some decent prices, yet some of the higher-end stores are still a bit out of my normal price range. The setup is somewhat convoluted, and the branching structure can be a bit confusing. My other big complaint is that there is no decent food or snacks to be had here. A few better restaurant and snacking options would definitely make it a little better. We'll keep coming back here during our visits...until the new one opens right down the road from my mother-in-law. read more

I was hoping there was a Le Creuset store here, unfortunately, there was not. There were a few stores that were nice, but considering the only other store in their chain that I've been to is Barstow, their store mix overall is rather mediocre. FYI, the Starbucks opens a little earlier than their posted hours. Which is awesome. read more

This two star rating is based on my comparison to other Outlet Centers. This one had a pretty bizarre layout and although the prices were fair, I didn't think they were a steal. There was no decent coffee shop to stop at and get a caffeinated beverage big downside for my hubby who wants to sit and read the paper while I indulge in retail therapy. Overall, it was a pretty Meh experience. read more

Not a bad place to be if you want name brand at discounted prices. We went to H&M and Lululemon outlets.

Nice outdoor mall. While I don't like to shop, this mall has a nice upscale feel to it. It's an outdoor mall with brand name chains at discounted prices. Pretty good for the shoppers, horrible for the non-shoppers who just sit and wait! j/k But at least it's outside, so you can get a tan while waiting for your friend to finish shopping. read more
