I was working in the Florida Keys for a little bit but ended up leaving early so I never got to experience a Ron Jon Surf Shop down there. I came to this one excited to get some merchandise. I have been traveling the world for the pass two months as a final hoorah before I get a big job to help set me up for my schooling, little did I know that I would be low on money after my long journey around the world. I went up to the register to purchase a shirt, hat, and air freshener. $35 was taken out of my account which was all I had at the moment (which I had no idea). I asked the man helping me if he could cancel my purchase so I could keep my money, he had asked another employee what to do and she said the purchase would have to be finished since the card reader had taken the money and needed the other $13. The man called up staff to the register, and for the few minutes I was waiting, my cousin came up to see what was going on and finished the payment (which I am thankful for). I have worked retail before and I know that the purchase could easily have been cancelled. As happy as I am to have gotten to go to one of these stores, being able to have money in my account would have been a whole lot nicer. read more

Sort of an old surf tourist deal, or at least for me. As I hadn't seen in years and went to visit and found a couple things I wanted.

Ron Jon's was a big deal when I was growing up. That sticker and Ron Jon's gear meant You were somebody. This is a high priced toy store and half a tourist trap. But it's Ron Jon's. I want to see the baddest skateboards, skim boards, and long boards. What I don't want is Billabong and O'Neil on my Ron Jon's gear. I have gear from manufacturers - I know where to get it. Ron Jon's is separate, it should remain that way. Here's to the Ocean and the Endless Summer. read more

Great selection of anything you want from bathing suits to skateboards to regular t-shirts, the cashiers has always been friendly.

All things in the surf shop world can be found here. Sunglasses brand name or cheap they have it! Tees and swim suits , sandals or sneakers it's here. Then there's the gadgets .... upscale wireless speakers to ear pods ... it's here. Very nice store with great customer service... willing to assist you but not pouncing on you or annoying! The displays were all very well sectioned ... didn't have to bounce around to find what we wanted . I bought a very cute pair of sneakers and a tee! The hubs found several tees and a jacket.... all really well priced. Really great shopping experience RonJon! We'll be back ! read more

My favorite chain surf shop. I live their traditional cotton tee shirts with cool colors and neat logos. We stop here every time we go the beach. This is the first time we were in particular location having been to several others in various locations. The friendly folks at this store were very helpful and courteous. The store was well stocked and we found exactly what we were looking for easily. read more

If your driving around the circle looking for the store go towards Landry's, park and walk in through the opening you will see Ron Jon's. Everyone was nice & helpful in the store. We purchased a sweatshirt on clearance & a tank top. Lots of cute things from cups to signs to jewelry & of course clothes. They have more men's wear than women's wear but hey it's ok! read more

Absolutely love this place! It's hard not to overspend when you want everything lol but the pricing is fair and they have so many awesome things! The decor is cute and themed appropriately with super helpful and kind staff! They had lots of deals going on our last trip in so I walked out with more than I intended too however I got an awesome new crossbody purse, a new bag, keychain, stickers, pants, and an awesome hoody and believe it or not it was all around $70 with all the deals! Crazy huh? Not to mention their products are high quality made so they will last forever and I'm super rough on my purses! I always take pictures and I didn't this time so I wish I had some to include (I may edit this and take photos of my purchases but sadly I forgot to get some while there).. nevertheless I highly recommend this as a must stop for shopping! read more

The service here was great and all of the employees were very nice and friendly. The materials of their clothes are great and the shirts are super comfy. Some of the prices of the shirts are a little high, but they had some cute stuff on the clearance rack! I will definitely be going back next year! read more
