Great little place! There was a lady doing an online sale so I couldn't see the entire aisle of Lily Pulitzer dresses. I'd recommend hosting something like that before or after opening for business to not interfere. read more

Overpriced store. Varied selections. Some overused clothing with some new sprinkled in. Nice large strip center location with good parking. read more

Frequent thrifter. This store appeared to have a good variety of name brands. Prices are similar to goodwill boutiques, not bad I bought a purse. Had a pair of shoes and was ready to go to the register, did a final look through and saw black speckles inside. On further inspection, it was mouse pooh. Shocked and slightly repulsed, I simply put them back, made my purchase and left. I didn't feel like mentioning it to the cashier as she was a little salty and seemed preoccupied by other tasks read more

I am a chronic thrift store shopper and with that information I'll say this is one of the best thrift stores I've ever visited. there clothes are top of line, and in great condition. The staff is kind, conversational, and helpful. Lastly the store is well kept, clean, and organized. It is priced higher than your average thrift store but the quality is well worth the pricing. I will definitely be a return customer, 5 stars! PSA all the bad reviews are just upset people due to them not buying their clothes... odd thing to write a one star review about if you ask me. read more

This place is a joke. First off IF they take your clothing it's for Pennies. I went in with very nice hardly worn if worn at all clothing. Designer jumpsuits, blazers and dresses and boots. I was told they were some what worn, well your a consignment store right! I wonder if they even looked at them as two items had tags in them. I looked at a rack while standing there and they had a dingy old tee shirt for sale. Never again, I'll donate them before wasting my time and gas going here. read more

The first time I sold to Style Encore, I was very impressed. They bought most of my items, at a decent enough price. So I loaded 4 huge totes up with extremely nice clothes expecting the same treatment. Boy was I wrong. They barely bought anything, what they did I barely got anything for. I will never shop or sell there again! read more

i shop with Style Encore, Myrtle Beach on their "lives" on Facebook. I have really enjoyed my experience with these ladies. The clothing and accessories are wonderful and great quality. read more

The employees couldn't be bothered to say hello or goodbye, maybe just a bad day but---it's Saturday...store had a bad energy.

This is an excellent resale shop. They just have expanded to a larger space, and honestly, you can find anything you need. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there are many great items in all sizes. For me, it's just wonderful to be able to have the opportunity to shop for anything I need, all pre-owned. Stop by at Style Encore! You will find something you will love, for sure ! read more

Dropped of a full bag of clothes many new with tags from places like american eagle, j crew, kan-can and many more designer places. Most things were either new with tags or like new. They accepted 5 things for $20 and the employees were rude and acted as if they were better than everyone and were trendy, mind you there appearance wasn't all that great. Didn't even seem like they went through the bag. Would have been better off just donating the stuff. read more

I have been there shopping twice in the last couple of months. Both times not one employee spoke to me, no one acknowledged my presence. The store was not busy either time. This is very poor customer service. I will not waste my time or encourage anyone to waste their time shopping at the North Myrtle Beach Style Encore. read more

I came to Style Encore to sell handbags I no longer needed and walked out with beautiful "new to me" dresses. I appreciate the excellent customer service experience I had with Jarissa and Amethyst. They made a (very clean!) fitting room available to me and helped to ensure I received my discounts and coupons for later purchases. Thank you! This was a well organized and clean establishment! read more

I called this location last week about bringing in clothes to sell. I was told that they were accepting clothes and I could bring in 2 laundry baskets full. The associate who received the clothes was not very gracious and she indicated they were not taking many clothes. She went through about 1/3 of one basket and selected 3 tops. They paid me $19.00 for the 3 pieces. The clothes that she went through were just tossed back in the basket in disarray. Overall, bad experience at this location. read more

I called before taking the 30 minute drive. They said they were taking women's clothes. I specifically said woman's pants. She said yes, see you soon. When I got there, first they won't take clothes in trash bags, they must be in totes or cloth type bags, then they said they were only taking summer dresses and sleeveless shirts. They were not very nice and literally would even look at our clothes! Some still had tags on them. Waste of my time! read more

My daughter and I dropped off two bags of clothing we were told it would take an hour, no problem. About 20 minutes later we get a text saying they were done with our clothes. When we got back the lady (long blond hair) said "I told you an hour ,come back in a hour!!). We waited in total an hour and a half. We never got a text so we went in and was told (by the lady with the long blonde hair) "Yea, were not taking any of your stuff !!" I understand anthropology, urban, jones New York (you get the kind of clothes we had) isn't for everyone BUT at least look at our clothes. All of our clothes were still folded they way I brought them in. When we asked why didn't you text us we were told" we didn't have your phone number " are you kidding me the first thing they ask for is your phone number. We brought some of our clothes to FABULOUS FINDS (North Myrtle Beach) and BLOOMINGAIL'S ( Little River ) If your looking for some good/vaule clothing , BELKS is a great place. read more

I was told I they we're taking jewelry and clothes and other accessories. I took 2 large bags plus a board full of jewelry I had new jewelry, Sak purse, new summer hats and nice clothes. No stains, tears, etc. one summer cover up had tags on it. It didn't look like they even went through my bags. When I got there they said it took an hour or 2 but to feel free to shop while I waited. I didn't look long and didn't buy anything. They said they weren't interested in any of my items and weren't taking jewelry at that time which was the opposite of what they told me when I called. Total waste of time ! read more

Do NOT waste your time coming to this business. Instead you should give your business to Plato's Closet. Encore sends emails and make posts begging for men's summer clothes to build their selection so I decided to take a day to go through some clothes. I drove 40 minutes to drop off 3 full bags of clothes and shoes which were all very lightly used or had tags on them and were purchased within the past few months. Within 30 minutes I get a text saying they're finished going through them. They purchased 9 items, all with tags still on for $30.... A complete lowball and waste of time. Only reason I took the money is because it paid for my gas to get there and back... sad. Also the staff is unfriendly, rude, and not presentable. Besides the sweet older woman that was behind the counter, she was kind. read more

Seller Experience: I specifically sold to Style Encore with the hopes of a better selling experience. This was my first time deciding to sell to this sort of establishment. As someone who sought out a store that chooses to buy "designer items," I took multiple items of Lilly Pulitzer/Juicy Couture/Bebe/White House Black Market/Nordstrom/Tory Burch. They supposedly sell their items at a 90% discount and give the seller (me) 30% of that. I was told I was not able to look at the list of what they had priced my items at because "it's corporate." I ended up selling (at an unreasonably low price) because I didn't want to worry about shipping and selling on my own. I will not sell to Style Encore again and plan to sell my items online during next summer's closet clean-out. I felt the staff could've been more cheerful/professional to improve the selling experience. read more

Dropped off several bag and when we came to pick them up it was very obvious that they did not even touch our bags and said everything was juniors style which was just not the case. Employees were rude and judged us for our age and did not even consider looking at our clothes. Not worth your time. read more

Rude employees that didn't even look through our items. Not worth your time, might as well just donate.

I love to shop thrift stores and consignment shops and found this place while visiting myrtle beach. Went in not expecting much and was so thrilled with amazing organization. Each type of clothing is organized by color and size. Pricing was fair and the whole store impressed me. I live 300 miles away but still Signed up and will shop via Facebook live. If you are in town check it out; you won't be disappointed. read more

I went in to see if they had certain Lilly Pulitzer styles in my size, a young woman planned she was new and offered whatever help she could when an older, late 60's, early 70's woman interrupted her and rudely brushed me off. I asked to speak to the manager but she informed me she was "busy" so I knew this woman was probably a miserable part-timer who doesn''t like fashion or her job. I've bought new items that have been shipped to me from live events on Facebook in other stores but in all seriousness I'll never step foot in this Style Encore again. I'll pay full price where business appreciate serious buyers. Pink and Red in Myrtle Beach, Belk in North Myrtle both sell Lilly Pulitzer. There is also a flagship Lilly store in Wilmington, NC. read more

Staff are haughty, the clothes are jammed in the racks so tight, the quality of the clothes they are buying as inventory has really gone down-I don't want to buy Target brands-and a lot of the jersey knits have pils on them. Bad quality. And the ppl behind the counter talk to each other and ignore those that want to ask questions or get help. When they deign to acknowledge you they point or answer indignantly. Sorry to bother you...I'm done. Took me a week or so to finally write this. If you shop there, be prepared to help yourself and dig thru a lot of junk to find something worthwhile. I myself will not go back, and will I NOT recommend the store to my friends, family or clients/customers, nor will I suggest they sell their wardrobe pieces to them. At least not until I hear of improvements. Their concept is good, but they got complacent and it shows. read more

Took a few never worn BCBG dresses in, plus a few billabong/roxy stuff that I never wore to sell. They didn't buy the BCBG dresses because of "teen styles" which BCBG doesn't make a Teen style but that's fine, the clothes they did buy were all teen clothes, I asked about the mis understanding and the manager said the owners daughter was here and said she liked those clothes so they want to buy them. It seems like a lack of business practices or bend the rules for a few items that they want. read more

Love Style Encore- I have bought some great designer clothes with tags on that I LOVE!!!

Great selection....always stop when we're in town...the ladies are so nice and the always remind me to get my card stamped...love this place

LOVE this store!! The prices are GREAT! Bought a Nine West dress NWT for $18, they also sell Boden, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Lily Pulitzer and other designer items. This is my 4th trip to this store and I have NEVER experienced rude customer service & the store doesn't smell, believe me - I have visited smelly thrift stores & will quickly take my leave. This store is a Consignment Shoppers dream - great selection, lots to choose from and awesome prices! read more

I was a regular shopper at style encore until yesterday. I took a bag of things to sell after some late spring cleaning and I had some nice things some even brand new with tags and also a designer hand bag. Was only supposed to be about 15 minutes and was told I'd get a text when done. Well over an hour later no text I finally go and ask someone and blonde lady acted as if I was disturbing her and not only had my stuff already been gone thru they told me they were passing on all of it due to wear. Brand new stuff, wear? Also saw same bag as mine in store but mine wasn't acceptable due to wear? But the stressed out handles on the one in store was? Or the stained shirts hanging were? I will never step foot in there again and will stop referring people there. Women were rude. read more

I love Style Encore! This is not your typical resale store experience. They really do a great job of keeping inventory on trend & organized... many name brands like Zara & missme & more! They have a variety of sizes. I am petite & they carry a great selection. I love taking advantage of barely worn or sometimes still with tags style at a fraction of the cost. Also good selection of LV purses at amazing prices. Check it out! read more
