Frequent thrifter. This store appeared to have a good variety of name brands. Prices are similar to goodwill boutiques, not bad I bought a purse. I am a chronic thrift store shopper and with that information I'll say this is one of the best thrift stores I've ever visited. there clothes are top of line, and in great condition. The staff is kind, conversational, and helpful. Lastly the store is well kept, clean, and organized. It is priced higher than your average thrift store but the quality is well worth the pricing. I will definitely be a return customer, 5 stars! This place is a joke. First off IF they take your clothing it's for Pennies. I went in with very nice hardly worn if worn at all clothing. Designer jumpsuits, blazers and dresses and boots. I was told they were some what worn, well your a consignment store right! I wonder if they even looked at them as two items had tags in them. So I loaded 4 huge totes up with extremely nice clothes expecting the same treatment. Boy was I wrong. They barely bought anything, what they did I barely got anything for. Dropped of a full bag of clothes many new with tags from places like american eagle, j crew, kan-can and many more designer places. Most things were either new with tags or like new. They accepted 5 things for $20 and the employees were rude and acted as if they were better than everyone and were trendy, mind you there appearance wasn't all that great. Didn't even seem like they went through the bag. Would have been better off just donating the stuff. read more

I called this location last week about bringing in clothes to sell. I was told that they were accepting clothes and I could bring in 2 laundry baskets full. The associate who received the clothes was not very gracious and she indicated they were not taking many clothes. She went through about 1/3 of one basket and selected 3 tops. They paid me $19.00 for the 3 pieces. The clothes that she went through were just tossed back in the basket in disarray. Overall, bad experience at this location. read more

I called before taking the 30 minute drive. They said they were taking women's clothes. I specifically said woman's pants. She said yes, see you soon. When I got there, first they won't take clothes in trash bags, they must be in totes or cloth type bags, then they said they were only taking summer dresses and sleeveless shirts. My daughter and I dropped off two bags of clothing we were told it would take an hour, no problem. About 20 minutes later we get a text saying they were done with our clothes. When we got back the lady (long blond hair) said "I told you an hour ,come back in a hour!!). We waited in total an hour and a half. I was told I they we're taking jewelry and clothes and other accessories. I took 2 large bags plus a board full of jewelry I had new jewelry, Sak purse, new summer hats and nice clothes. No stains, tears, etc. one summer cover up had tags on it. It didn't look like they even went through my bags. When I got there they said it took an hour or 2 but to feel free to shop while I waited. I didn't look long and didn't buy anything. They said they weren't interested in any of my items and weren't taking jewelry at that time which was the opposite of what they told me when I called. Do NOT waste your time coming to this business. Instead you should give your business to Plato's Closet. Encore sends emails and make posts begging for men's summer clothes to build their selection so I decided to take a day to go through some clothes. I drove 40 minutes to drop off 3 full bags of clothes and shoes which were all very lightly used or had tags on them and were purchased within the past few months. Within 30 minutes I get a text saying they're finished going through them. They purchased 9 items, all with tags still on for $30.... A complete lowball and waste of time. Only reason I took the money is because it paid for my gas to get there and back... sad. Also the staff is unfriendly, rude, and not presentable. Each type of clothing is organized by color and size. Pricing was fair and the whole store impressed me. I live 300 miles away but still Signed up and will shop via Facebook live. Seller Experience: I specifically sold to Style Encore with the hopes of a better selling experience. This was my first time deciding to sell to this sort of establishment. As someone who sought out a store that chooses to buy "designer items," I took multiple items of Lilly Pulitzer/Juicy Couture/Bebe/White House Black Market/Nordstrom/Tory Burch. They supposedly sell their items at a 90% discount and give the seller (me) 30% of that. I was told I was not able to look at the list of what they had priced my items at because "it's corporate." I ended up selling (at an unreasonably low price) because I didn't want to worry about shipping and selling on my own. I will not sell to Style Encore again and plan to sell my items online during next summer's closet clean-out. I felt the staff could've been more cheerful/professional to improve the selling experience. read more

I went in to see if they had certain Lilly Pulitzer styles in my size, a young woman planned she was new and offered whatever help she could when an older, late 60's, early 70's woman interrupted her and rudely brushed me off. I asked to speak to the manager but she informed me she was "busy" so I knew this woman was probably a miserable part-timer who doesn''t like fashion or her job. I've bought new items that have been shipped to me from live events on Facebook in other stores but in all seriousness I'll never step foot in this Style Encore again. I'll pay full price where business appreciate serious buyers. Pink and Red in Myrtle Beach, Belk in North Myrtle both sell Lilly Pulitzer. Staff are haughty, the clothes are jammed in the racks so tight, the quality of the clothes they are buying as inventory has really gone down-I don't want to buy Target brands-and a lot of the jersey knits have pils on them. Bad quality. And the ppl behind the counter talk to each other and ignore those that want to ask questions or get help. When they deign to acknowledge you they point or answer indignantly. Sorry to bother you...I'm done. Took me a week or so to finally write this. If you shop there, be prepared to help yourself and dig thru a lot of junk to find something worthwhile. I myself will not go back, and will I NOT recommend the store to my friends, family or clients/customers, nor will I suggest they sell their wardrobe pieces to them. Took a few never worn BCBG dresses in, plus a few billabong/roxy stuff that I never wore to sell. They didn't buy the BCBG dresses because of "teen styles" which BCBG doesn't make a Teen style but that's fine, the clothes they did buy were all teen clothes, I asked about the mis understanding and the manager said the owners daughter was here and said she liked those clothes so they want to buy them. I was a regular shopper at style encore until yesterday. I took a bag of things to sell after some late spring cleaning and I had some nice things some even brand new with tags and also a designer hand bag. Was only supposed to be about 15 minutes and was told I'd get a text when done. Well over an hour later no text I finally go and ask someone and blonde lady acted as if I was disturbing her and not only had my stuff already been gone thru they told me they were passing on all of it due to wear. Brand new stuff, wear? Also saw same bag as mine in store but mine wasn't acceptable due to wear? But the stressed out handles on the one in store was? Or the stained shirts hanging were?
