Mind you I am still a fan of the NB brand but since I had the time to choose I opted to give the shop in the Tanger Outlets a try. The staff in the store was very friendly and helped me pick out a pair straight away. The visit as around the Christmas holidays and they were having a "buy one get one free" sale going on which is never a bad thing in my book. My first pair was black since I often work in entertainment and need to be sporting black everything. I don't get running sneakers but instead ones that are aimed at walking but with some serious time at it as well. For my second pair I opted for white ones with a modest stripe design on the side. I prefer a blank canvas but this is how they come. To say these were comfortable would be an understatement. They were surely a much needed relief from my very well worn pair of kicks that went straight into the trash the moment I got back to the family home. While I consider myself a supporter of New Balance still, I think I might stick with ASICS for a while to give myself some difference. I don't know how often this outlet location has sales but there is a lot of reasonably priced models there and some higher priced one. Each has their own opinion on such things. That said I am a satisfied customer.
