So many people may ask- what is Carolina Pottery-- I would call it a home store that has floral arrangements, pictures, outdoor furniture, wine, kitchen supplies, decor items, and plenty more! It is quite a big store and located at the Tanger outlets on 501. Because this is a mall, we found plenty of parking and parked. Walked in and within 5 minutes saw a canvas sunflower picture! I was excited because I've been looking for something like that, and never found it in any of the other furniture stores! So then I grabbed a wagon, and put it in the wagon. Oh, and they already had fall/halloween/christmas stuff out already. Why do retail stores rush this kind of stuff? Anyways store was clean and organized. What i also loved about this store is that they had plenty of selection of color items like if you need a red candle holder- guess what, they have it! Even their wall hangings are more colorful, and have colors that pop. My mom also found a blue whale and green turtle. The only thing about this store is that the prices can be expensive- like 60.00 for a fourth of july/american flag for the garden. When we were done, we went to the cashier. Cashier was pleasant, and we paid via credit card- 35.00 for the sunflower picture, and in total we spent 61.53. Oh, and i noticed at the register- there are pictures of people, and then the words Jailed with a smiley face. While it is good that they condemn stealing, and that definitely might deter from-- a responsible paying customer doesn't need to see that. Also while we were shopping, there was hardly anyone in the store, as far as customers. If one hasn't been there, highly suggest to check the store out, especially if you like items with color! Just like its name, it's a charming store with a wide variety of women's clothing, and home decor items, including farmhouse chic, beachy, and traditional. Staff are attentive and welcoming but not intrusive. The displays are enchanting, often renewed, and I love to visit just to relax and explore what they are selling. It's a tranquil place and I always find something special there. Their selection of artificial flowers are excellent quality and look amazingly real. I kept having to touch them to confirm they weren't! I learned that the staff will also create custom arrangements or wreaths by request. Their clothing is "boutique" style, and fairly priced. But unlike Target and Walmart, they did have quite a few christmas items, and the best part is that all christmas items was 50% off! We found chocolate penguins, lots of gift bags, buiscuits, cookies, chocolate and more! We also found some caramel popcorn at the register. Store was pretty crowded too. There was a long line at the register but it moved quickly, and the cashier was very pleasant. Store was also organized, and they did also have lots of wrapping paper, and kids items included like Elmo Wrapping paper, which i thought was cute. Will be back for more home needs!
