You know how this goes, am I going to find…read moresomeone fair or I find someone who's going to extract as much money out of my wallet that they possibly can. Luckily I meet Butch. Right away you get that good feeling that you scored a good mechanic. He knows his shit. Now, you leave the bike off with them. Not ever having any dealings with them before. You know that feeling. What's going to come next? Is he going to gouge me? Is he going to do the repairs right? I don't know, I just have all shit going through my head! Well let me tell you, Butch is "A" number one, King of the hill ! He went above and beyond all expectations! My bike looked better coming out of his shop then when it went in. All the repairs were done to perfection and the bill was less than expected! Butch and Lisa, thank you guys so much!!! You've made a customer for life! Beware of this business. I paid him thousands of dollars to do repairs to two American Iron horse…read moremotorcycles. I request on of my bikes to go through the bike and replace and repair all deficiencies To include change all of the fluids.. he charged me over 6K For the work.. I bike was retuned to me and was unrideable as the adjustable air shock was not functioning and the inner primary seal was leaking oil. I have enclosed videos as I had someone go through the bike and check the fluids. you can see the results. after he has claimed he replaced all the fluids on this specific bike.. he also created a hazard on this bike by removing a. bent skid panel he said the panel was unnecessary what what I found out later was this skid panel was created to prevent the shocks from being exposed on the hidden suspension swingarm and without it the shocks could catch in a pot hole or on a speed bump leading to a loss of control and/or flipping the bike. On a second bike he had the tubes powder coated and the heat melted the seals. He blamed the leak on compression of the tubes while in transport back to my house. on this same bike he put the shocks in opposite directions one pointing one way and the one in the opposite direction as well as misrouted number of cables. unfortunately I had to take the bikes to another shop and spend a few thousand dollars to correct his incompetence. not to mention removed a highly sought after pro 1 primary cover worth approximately 1100 dollars and tried to keep it by switching it out with a shitty 350 dollar generic chrome primary. I have never met such a little worm..I have everything documented to back up my claims. I would recommend if you have an iron horse not to use the shop. I learned the hard way after losing over 20K. there are a number of other items he failed to correct.to do but I feel everyone with get my point this guy has no integrity and what is worst is I trusted him to do the right thing. if you have an Iron horse and need help, replacement part or repairs contact. I would recommend Brian Morrow he has an american iron horse web site and is located in Texas. He is honest, dependable and will ensure you a you get what you need.
