Took my 2013 Volkswagen there had a light come on in my dash,I was told it was the turbo and the crankshaft I went there because they excepted car shield well after paying 210.00 for a diagnostic to be told my turbo is bad and car shield will not pay so I told them to go ahead and fix it 5442.00 later 3 weeks later I pick it up and one day I see oil leaking took it back and charged 166.00 and still my car is not fixed still leaking oil ,I believe I should have been told before I payed all that money that the engine was shifted and the crank shaft will not tighten something like that any way I am out of $5885.00 and still my car is not good still leaking oil ,ps it was not leaking oil when I took it there ,not happy read more

I just spent $1650 in repairs at Addys to replace a fuel pump that these clowns replaced. I had issues ever since they replaced the pump. I was told all my gas line clips were broken, and the sensor was broken on the pump. I had taken it back 3 times for issues. The last time they wanted $900 to replace a board which I refused. Go somewhere else for service. These guys either dont know what they are doing or are just crooked. read more

Same day we picked up the car, it had to be taken back to be fixed again. Apparently they changed the wrong O2 sensor. When we picked the car up the second time, the engine light came back on later in the day and the engine, 2 months later is still riding in "limp" mode. Today when I finally had a chance to take a look at the engine, I find a bolt sitting in a hole on top - luckily I found the spot where it went. Then I find an O2 sensor just dangling, hitting the belts. The reason it was left dangling? Because apparently there was a stripped bolt the mechanics initially had to bore through. You think they fixed that? Nope!! Go here at your own risk! read more

My husband and I took our car in to get get the steering fixed because it made a grinding sound when turning, but had no issues with the actually steering of the vehicle. They took 2 days to "fix" the problem that they said they would be done in 1. When we picked up the car it was un-driveable due to the car not turning at all unless accelerating at the same time (literally couldn't back the car out of a parking spot because the steering wheel wouldn't turn). When bringing the car back in because something had clearly gone wrong with what they did at the dealership, the mechanics told us that the car must have been doing that before they fixed it (which it wasn't) and that we would have to pay an additional $500 to get the new issue fixed. This was a very frustrating and drawn out experience, and I would not recommend this automotive shop if you need something fixed. read more

Brought my car into this auto shop and they literally broke my power steering while trying to fix another problem. Then they charged me again to fix the power steering even though they had broken it. They accused me of lying and said that it must have been doing that before I gave it to them. They refused to fix the power steering without full payment. This was an absolutely terrible experience and I feel absolutely scammed. I will never return. read more

I'm not saying there aren't any other trustworthy mechanics around here, I'm just saying that i haven't found any other places i would recommend other than this place. P.s. northern friendly also. These people are awesome. Stopped here because my car was overheating during a cross-country road trip. They took the car in, diagnosed the issue, and fixed it very quickly at a reasonable price. After fixing it, their mechanic Kevin spoke with me for a few minutes about the issue and how to prevent it in the future. Took my truck to have an issue fixed. Told me it was ready. I asked what time they closed and they said 4pm. I said I would be there before they closed. Arrived at 3:45 and no one around so now I am without my truck for the entire weekend because they could not take 30 sec to call and say they were closing early. Took my truck in to them after I purchased it to have them do a general check on it. They called me back telling me I need two new ball joints and new brakes on all four wheels. Complete lies, have a second shop look at your vehicle before having them do anything. My ball joints are perfect and were installed new less than nine months ago and all four brakes they wanted to replace are practically brand new as well. Their estimate was almost $1,300 that they tried to take me for. What a bunch of crooks. Stay away from them unless you don't mind having your hard earned money stolen from you by a crooked shop! read more

My experience with this place was just absolutely awful. First, I had my vehicle towed here from my apartment complex of which I was visiting family at and my car has several problems that are causing it to be unsafe to drive. The alternator went out and now I couldn't even turn it on. This was the closest automotive shop to me and I needed to be able to get back to Georgia to drive 6 hours so I called and asked them to give me an estimate on how much it was cost to get the car safe and drivable. So, I got my call back and first, the lady who was on the phone sounded so bored and tired and was so slow with her words like she just didn't want to be there at all. She said her name, and the company she was with, (that's good) and said "the diagnosis was alternator." ok, not what was wrong with it or anything. Just "alternator" wouldn't it be good to give customers more information on whats going on than just that? So anyway to continue, she informed me it would be $350 to fix. I asked "and this will make it safe for me to drive too, right? I have to drive 6 hours and need to make sure I'm not going to break down again." She said yes and asked if I wanted to continue with fixing it and I agreed. So I got the call not too much later that it was ready and I took an UBER over to the shop to get my keys. First thing I noticed was that my DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW WAS DOWN. Now I had important belongings in my vehicle and youre telling me my window was left down this whole time for anyone to reach in and grab them? REALLY? I disregarded it and just bounced in to get my keys so I could get down the road and I retrieve them, come back out to the car and attempt to turn the vehicle over and it didn't. I see I also have one of my lights in the car on. Now I don't know if it was an employee that turned it on or possibly someone from the night before trying to see what kind of cool goodies I had to take after hours because that window was down? I went back inside and said my car wasn't starting and the lady went to the back and got on her phone and I noticed a guy was walking out to my car. She should have come back and told me that someone was headed out there to fix it, not just sit on her dang phone. So I quickly go out there and the guy tells me he swore it was working earlier and I asked him again would I be able to drive the car 6 hours and he said it should be fine. So I got the car jumped, get in and head over to my familys house to give my final good byes and I notice its not pulling or accelerating like it was before the alternator went out and could tell that clearly something else was still very wrong just from the sounds it was making. So I get on the phone and call to complain and the woman on the phone whom I'm assuming was the same one at the desk, proceeds to ARGUE with me and says that it was never relayed to her that anyone was supposed to do more than find out why it wouldn't start. I already knew the alternator was why it wasn't start but there were other things wrong with it and I wanted to know what all was wrong and how much to fix it but that was too much to ask. She informed me I could come back and have them check again but that it would cost another $85. You gotta be kidding me. If I ever find myself in Myrtle Beach with car problems again, I will not be going here! read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE service and customer service. Took car here for a new computer system and left with a blown engine. Kevin never called to inform me that he was not replacing the computer system and found out only after he finished working on what he wanted to. Only call I ever received from him was to say my engine was blown and I owed him for unauthorized repairs that I had no prior knowledge about. Stay as FAR away as possible from this crook. read more
