She became very verbally abusive towards Mr. Lohr, but he responded better than most under that kind of situation. Her poor husband was embarrassed and we could tell he was uncomfortable with the situation but had no control of his wife's verbal "displeasure" and that this was not the first time she tried to intimidate others. Tidelands Ford has a keeper in Jim Lohr. He kept his head while being attacked. Ford advertises,"Enjoy a complimentary home charger with standard installation". There is a plan (A) that says complementary home charger and home installation. plan (B) $500 in cash. None of the options we explained to us. Now after researching this For Company Promise we called Tidelands Ford and asked for the $500. They do not answer our calls. The sales manager is BDBanks. He never follows up and avoids our calls. In my opinion this is a SCAM. Shame on this company deceiving the customer, just to sell an EV vehicle. Btw. The shop is immaculate, and my experience has shown me that only when you have techs that are competent and care about their environment are you able to maintain such cleanliness and organization. It also indicates how well they'll care for your vehicle. They recommended a Kumho tire, branded for Mavis, as an alternative to the Wranglers that had now been discontinued. I had them perform a wheel alignment as well (always do this when buying new tires) and my truck tracks straight as an arrow. The shop manager discounted services for me and added extended road hazard and wear warranty to give me the best value he could, competing successfully with three other area businesses. Overall, my experience was very pleasant, I like how the tires look on my truck, and I'm happy with the ride quality. Hopefully I'll get as many miles out of these as I did on my previous two sets of Wranglers. Five stars.

The 1st visit culminated in nothing being done. I picked it up after 2 days and decided I would bring it back when maybe they had more help. They claim to have a special machine that can determine exactly what the issue is with the top. Haha. Okay 2nd visit 5 days crickets! I'm so frustrated that they say leave it 1 more day and we will get to it. This time they give me a loaner to drive. I get 25 mins away almost back to my home in murrells inlet and the fill in for the manager says your car is done. It cant be fixed. Top is a total loss. Replacement is $21,500. I pick up a car with the top kind of closed but not really. There is an alarm screaming, a warning light flashing, and the wind whistling through the back which is also not truly closed. They thought that was acceptable. I put the top up manually myself after watching a YouTube video on how to do it prior to ever bringing it in to be looked at so I knew it could be done. I expected them to give me my car back in at least drivable condition. I had to fight to get this corrected. My saving grace was an upper manger named Kristen who heard me and responded exactly opposite of the service manager and said yes we will put your car back in the same condition it was in when it arrived. Never will I return to this dealership.
