Been going there for years ! Mr Smith was always fair and friendly. They have new owners now ! Got 2 quotes recently and they were higher than the name brand service centers, actually quite a bit . And even argumentative when questioned about the price. The whole point of having a neighborhood service center is to be more competitive. Cannot and will not recommend anymore. read more

The worst thing that could happen on vacation happened: my car died in a random parking lot. On a Saturday, this place was willing to stay open hours past their close time, call around, find an emergency part, and stay open late in order to get our car repaired, so we could make it home in time to get back to work as scheduled. In the end, the problem worked itself out (thank god). But seriously - that's some serious service! I am new to the area and this garage was recommended to me. The problem was that the front engine splash guard was partially detached from my Camry. I stopped in at the shop and Billy re-attached it and gave me tips on how to avoid further detachments. He also saved me money by reattaching the one on my car rather than me buying a new splash guard. He was very knowledgeable about other car questions I had and giving advice. The price charged was more than reasonable. I will go back to this garage for any future car problems I might have. These guys were great! We had an engine light come on while on vacation. Called Smith's and they said bring it by and they would be happy to take a look. When I arrived, they plugged it in an reset it. Let me know what it was and that it would be safe to drive, no charge. Like I said they were wonderful. Billy was the only one that touched our cars for years until we moved away now that I live back in NMB they'll be the only ones working on them again. Doesn't gouge you on price if it's an emergency he'll work over too get you going. How a real shop is run. To point out you don't stay in business for 40+ years if you're not treating locals right. Only connection I have is repairs done and went to high school with his daughter & niece. But since only 1 school not much of a choice. read more

My car sits unused for long periods of time. I use a slow charger to maintain the battery but for some reason it failed this time. Smith's fully recharged my battery as well as putting air in my tires, all for free. I can't thank them enough and I would recommend them to all. On Vacation, and just miles before arriving, our ABS light came on, being a Saturday, we looked online for garages close by, and called Smith's on Monday morning. He was able to get our truck in on Tuesday morning and have not only the brakes, but the bearings, CV joint assembly and axle replacesd by mid afternoon! Cost was reasonable and fair. I was out of town and heard my car making a funny sound. I searched yelp and I found Smith's. They were wicked friendly when they answered the phone and told me I could come right now for them to take a look. As soon as I drove up I was greeted warmly. The young man stopped what he was doing so that he could check out my car. He drove it around and discussed what the issue could be. He took of my tire blew out al the brake dust and assured me that my car would make it home. If I lived here this is the only place I would have my cars serviced! absolutely wonderful! read more

I highly recommend this garage. I was visiting Myrtle Beach on vacation, and on the drive down my car developed a strange noise. We had a limited amount of time to have the car looked at before we had to return home. They were able to look at the car quickly, figured out what the problem was and because the fix was quick and easy, didnt charge me and refused to take any money. My father in law has also used this service station for more substantive repairs and believes they are very well qualified (he use to run his own garage, so he would know). read more

Recently moved to the area and looked for an auto repair shop with good reviews. This is a small business run by a local gentleman. They replaced my front wheel bearings quickly, for a very fair price. There was an occasional noise in my brakes after the repair, so I asked to have it checked. He insisted on replacing the brake pads to make sure it was fixed properly, and wouldn't let me pay for the brake work. Wow! Found my new auto repair shop! read more

Our vehicle developed a rattle and with a ten hour drive ahead of me, I wanted to find out what was causing it. Billy took my car for a test drive, put it on the lift and showed me the heat shield had come loose. They provided a temporary fix to get me home and I was on my way.
