Some photo's of an engine that Autohaus rebuilt. The entire engine AND transmission had to be rebuilt correctly by another garage. The photo that shows 2 of the pistons still inside the engine was taken during the new rebuild by another garage. Look at the amount of rust and gunk on the block and pistons! The amount of rust on and in the block shows that they didn't send the block out to be cleaned, a BASIC STEP, in any engine rebuild by any compentent professional garage. The photo of the rusted engine was taken AFTER the Autohaus rebuild, the clean block shows what it should like like when a garage that knows what its doing does it. read more

After calling them out for not providing us a full quote before doing the service work and double charging us for transmission fluid, we discovered they did not replace the battery as we requested. The invoice stated the battery was replaced, however, the battery was dead 4 days after the service. When we questioned them, they said that they just tested and charged the battery and put the old battery back in car and charged us $217 for it, which is a service that is free at AutoZone. After multiple phone calls and haggling, Juergen offered to put a new battery in the car and waive the labor fee, but still charged us for the battery so now the battery change is over $500, terrible customer service. read more

This man is a scam artist. He will not tell you a labor rate per hour. He won't give you how many hours he worked on the thing. You'll get a quote for 3400 and you'll end up paying 7400. When you refuse to have work done he will have your vehicle towed that day. When you do come in he will throw the keys at you. Was there 2x. Rebuilding a front end on an mg midget $3400 with $1500 down(paid 7400) and windshield wiper motor 750 (refused). Might I add the part was $100 dollars and he said taxes and shipping was the cost difference.... This man will manipulate and screw you. Requested a service B on my wife's Mercedes SL that ran flawless. I got 30 minutes of personal salvation, a bill for $2200 and a car that would barely run. After three attempts to correct the issues, I was told that for $1800 more they would fix my car by replacing a coil pack. I asked for details of what was done to the car and was told service B. There were no real details on the invoice. I took the car home and began to disassemble the ignition system and found that one coil pack was physically broken, and the high energy box was from an earlier model. Many of the fasteners were missing from the engine covers and the air filter inner housing was very dirty. It has been a year and several thousand miles since I fixed the car. As the owner explained to me in the initial meeting about kicking alcohol and drug addition by putting his faith in Christ, I failed my family by not walking out the door. Had my Mercedes SLK 350 taken there. Was charged 250 dollars for a diagnostic that supposedly took two hours. That's 125 an hour? Paid the bill and requested the diagnostic print out all I got was a receipt with no real information. The gentleman behind the counter helped as he could but once he had to get the owner I could hear them talking in the back room. He was extremely nasty and dismissive concerning us. I don't agree with Kay C. She wrote similar bad reviews for this place at two different addresses. Brought my GF's Saab for repairs....it had been previously (week prior) been declared "roadworthy" by a Saab specialist in Indianapolis.....the top was repaired...windshield washer leak fixed..."thumping" noise fixed...and an ECU unit installed....well....the Saab Specialists did indeed diagnose and repair ECU....and fixed the top....however the top worked 3 times until a bracket bent...and nothing else was actually repaired. Autohaus fixed everything for a very reasonable price. He removed the offending brackets from the top...and because they are tough to get with Saab's bankruptcy....he made them himself ! I found the service to be very honest....skilled....and a good value...much better than experiences at Saab dealerships and other Saab experts. I do know something about auto repairs....have lots of experience with high end Euro cars and domestic luxury and performance cars...I can unequivocally recommend these folks for your European car. read more

I was in the office with a friend, picking up his car, when I heard the owner on the telephone telling a customer that his bill was almost $700 when the customer only expected to be just over $200. The owner threatened the customer to come in and see him when he was going to pick up the car and Monday and then he said OK can you give me what amounts to half of the difference but it must be in cash and I don't ever wanna see you again. In town for a week, engine power light came on my Porsche Boxster s. I got in to the Thursday morning asking for help. They fit it and call with a diagnosis by late afternoon. Since I was leaving Saturday, and they're not open on the weekends, the prepped the car Thursday night, ordered the parts and we're able to replace the hpfp and water pump by close on Friday.
