I understand if a deal can't be made--that's completely fine--but cutting a customer off while they're asking reasonable questions about pricing is unprofessional. Not giving straightforward answers comes across as evasive and deceptive. If there had been transparency from the beginning about the numbers, the trade-in value, and the work done on the bike, this situation likely wouldn't have escalated. A more honest and respectful approach would have gone a long way.

Typical corporate nonsense:  I spent a WHOPPING $700 + on a…read morehelmet to protect myself while riding (this is full price by the way, good luck ever getting the specific helmet you want on sale), and Cyclegear put this expensive order in the hands of FedEx for shipping purposes. After a few days the tracking information shows that it is stalled and not moving between destinations. When I contacted FedEX to find out what's going on, they freely admitted that the shipment is lost and at some point between transfers was not scanned in, even though the trucks that were moving it reached their destinations. They informed me that they could do nothing unless Cyclegear submitted a claim or a ticket on behalf of the delivery.  I contacted Cyclegear to get them to resolve this issue and of course, they pulled the same old Corporate nonsense. "we can't do anything about this. I don't know what FedEx is talking about. We can't submit any tickets. I don't have access to those systems." yadda yadda yadda. just stonewalling me while holding over 700 of my hard earned dollars.  I then explained to them that the North Charleston Store here appears to actually have the helmet in question in stock, and that I would just go and pick my helmet up from that store's inventory. just refund me for the Helmet i ordered and I will repurchase there since it's available. i PAID for this helmet in full. you HAVE what I paid for. just let me pick it up since your shipping failed.but no. of course not. Cyclegear sees fit to take my money and give me NOTHING AT ALL in return. No recourse. Cyclegear is taking no action to resolve this, just leaving the lost helmet eternally in limbo with FedEx and offering me no compensation. Something that would be so simple to solve becomes impossible because some stooge in an office hiding behind a phone is too lazy to fix it.  This is a lifelong boycott. I am an avid motorcyclist who lives covered in motorcycle gear, and I will never spend money with Cyclegear, Revzilla, J&P cycles or any of their puppet shell companies ever again. And if that helmet ever does arrive (which I seriously doubt it eve will, FedEx was clear on this) I'm immediately returning it. You will never get my money again, because you lack the basic skills to deal with simple situations in a fair and courteous way, and that is unforgivable for a retail business.

I request on of my bikes to go through the bike and replace and repair all deficiencies To include change all of the fluids.. he charged me over 6K For the work.. I bike was retuned to me and was unrideable as the adjustable air shock was not functioning and the inner primary seal was leaking oil. I have enclosed videos as I had someone go through the bike and check the fluids. you can see the results. after he has claimed he replaced all the fluids on this specific bike.. he also created a hazard on this bike by removing a. bent skid panel he said the panel was unnecessary what what I found out later was this skid panel was created to prevent the shocks from being exposed on the hidden suspension swingarm and without it the shocks could catch in a pot hole or on a speed bump leading to a loss of control and/or flipping the bike. On a second bike he had the tubes powder coated and the heat melted the seals. He blamed the leak on compression of the tubes while in transport back to my house. on this same bike he put the shocks in opposite directions one pointing one way and the one in the opposite direction as well as misrouted number of cables. unfortunately I had to take the bikes to another shop and spend a few thousand dollars to correct his incompetence. not to mention removed a highly sought after pro 1 primary cover worth approximately 1100 dollars and tried to keep it by switching it out with a shitty 350 dollar generic chrome primary. I have never met such a little worm..I have everything documented to back up my claims. I would recommend if you have an iron horse not to use the shop. I learned the hard way after losing over 20K. there are a number of other items he failed to correct.to do but I feel everyone with get my point this guy has no integrity and what is worst is I trusted him to do the right thing. if you have an Iron horse and need help, replacement part or repairs contact.
