The new camshaft, unfortunately, had a defect--which sometimes happens--and they replaced it, taking on the burden of labor and managing the warranty themselves. There are not alot of Indian Dealerships around, so the ones here have a monopoly on the product which can lead to deteriorating service. So far, with the limited dealings with Battleship Indian, it has been a pleasant experience. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I spoke to Anthony, service advisor, who was a great help with a uncovered warranty issue. He got the matter resolved in a timely manner and to everyone's satisfaction. I will continue to use this dealership and refer everyone over to them. It is worth the extra 45 minutes to ride there than go locally. I will update as I have more sales and service contact with them.

Poor attention to detail and lack of follow through. Think twice!!…read more I had an initial good conversation with Peter on inspecting and rebuilding/resealing my R50/5 transmission. Upon receiving it back, I was billed for a seal that wasn't replaced, there was a poorly installed output seal (that would have severely leaked), and vice grip/pliers marks on my shift lever. I also noticed a good sized crack on my output drive flange. After another conversation, Peter got the tranny back...This was now to repair his poor craftsmanship and lack of attention to detail. He replaced the seals, but failed to address the cracked drive flange - He reinstalled in on the new seal. Note: This was pointed out to him with a note in the shipping box, through email with photos, and via text. It took several days to get a response from Peter after receiving the transmission back a second time. He said he would offer a new flange at a "good price." After a few attempts to get in touch with him again, he never responded. This was a frustrating experience that made me question the whole inspection process. Also, don't pay with Zelle as you have no recourse on the payment if services weren't' delivered as promised.

After three days of failing to reach Joe by phone or e-mail - I decide to stop by the shop. The front entrance was locked so I decided to look around back to see if anyone was working. There I see my FXR, Joe and another male. Joe is on the front of MY bike with the male behind him. They are both wearing absolutely no clothes and the other male is seemingly penetrating Joe, all while Joe is screaming "I LOVE AMERICA!" I let out a gasp and they both scuttled for cover. I yelled that I was waiting outside and ran out. Joe Petersen appeared a few minutes later - profusely apologizing and offered to clean my bike and throw in the rings for free. I'm all for whatever Joe wants to do in his free time but there was no reason to use my bike.

They've stopped answering my calls, told me I would be blocked, and even said they left my four-wheeler outside for me to pick up, which is completely irresponsible and puts my property at risk. My kids haven't been able to enjoy this four-wheeler since we bought it, and the whole experience has been frustrating and disappointing. They told me I had a bubble in one tire, & they were "feathering". I had them check the brakes, & they MEASURED the brakes pads at 3 mm, which indicated they needed replacing. Tires were on sale. So I replaced! My Master mechanic son-in-law, When he had taken a look at my tires & heard my story, said: "You need to find a new place to take your car." Wasted $175!

He help me push my trailer in to my garage and continued to tow my truck to the mechanic shop of my choice. He was very friendly, very helpful and his price was very reasonable. They didn't have what we were looking for, but we were told they could build us a custom one in four weeks. When it wasn't done in four weeks, they at least gave us a loaner for a few weeks while I had family visiting from out of town. The one positive out of all of it. When we went down there at seven weeks, the golf cart, they showed us was nothing like what we ordered. The owner wanted to do everything he could to not refund our money but rather to make it right. Admirable, I'd have to say, however, lots of promises made, and no promises kept. Lies after lies. 12 weeks later, still no golf cart and still needs to be painted with graphic design they were supposed to be able to do, among other things. That was going to take another 2 to 8 weeks, depending upon the choice now. I'm done! Asked for my refund, which is now pending and we'll see where that goes. I'll update if other action has to be taken. Can you imagine what service would've been like? Another customer in the showroom on July 23 said he hopes we get better service than he was getting. Lots of red flags from the beginning. Should have known better!

Took it to Econo Transmission and dropped it off , ( 1st come 1st serve ) Mike Pridgen is the nicest guy you could ever meet , called me in a few hours with diagnostic . It needed a rebuild , and I agree due to high mileage. It was done VERY fast and the price beat everyone in the Wilmington & Coastal area !! Even needed a part that they didn't charge me for .. Never got to meet Daryl Keels my technician but all I have to say is JOB WELL DONE !!! If you ever have a transmission issue I suggest you go to Econo !! TOP NOTCH 100% .
