    Very nice shop; friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Tons of top shelf accessories and big displays. Russ helped me with a much needed front end alignment on my 2 door JL to get it driving straight and true. Done at a reasonable price and the technician did an excellent job.

    I was a loyal customer until today. I had them install a 3" suspension lift on my 4Runner 6 weeks ago, and I had them mount wheels and tires. I went back after the install at the requested 500 mile mark and had my wheels re-torqued (supposedly). Recently, I notice a knock in my driver side wheel when i brake and turn. I take it back to Cape Fear and they insist it is my cv's needing replaced even though I only have 48k miles on my vehicle. This week, my front driver side wheel damn near falls off and I limp into Black's Tire & Auto Service with a wheel visibly wobbling on my vehicle. I had 2 broken lugs on my wheel and I could have seriously injured myself or others... I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue with them. But i have heard of other customers having careless work performed on their cars. I know for a fact they don't need my business, and i'm ok with that- but I won't return. I am irritated that after i spent $7k with them on vehicle modifications they failed to show one ounce of care or concern for the danger they put myself or others in. They simply didn't care. I'm not saying don't use them for what you need, i was pleased until today's interaction. I am saying be wary of the work you have performed and be cautious when getting wheels mounted at this location- because you're on your own when you leave- and they could care less. I am utterly disgusted, and disappointed that as men you had zero empathy for the danger you put myself, my family, and innocent people in. Your shop is a dangerous hazard and should be avoided at all costs.

    Great and friendly service. This was the cleanest retail store I have ever seen. Spotless in every area. The install of my Retrax MX retractable truck bed cover was fast and perfect. I definitely recommend!

I ordered parts…read morelast week and, knowing I am on a time crunch, I allotted a week and a day for delivery and 2-4 days reassembly.. They told me the parts would be in on a given day, 7 days out..now, on said day, they are telling me it will be another full week. When I inquired about Why I paid extra for rush "2 day'' delivery, that will now be taking over 14 days, I was told "Im not sure why they told you that, There is no way we could get it here that fast"....In otherwords...They charged me $25 and they Knew they could not get my part here that quickly. WTF? Why lie to me just to make a sale? How many other people paid extra this month only to get screwed on the delivery and charges for overnight/2day? ? 10,000? 1,000,000?! Your company could have just cost me a lot of money in extra down time so You can screw others. Well, I went to Advanced...(which I despise).. The irony...My part will be here in 2 hours, It is being Delivered from Raleigh, by the competition. No extra $25 charge for postage either. Yes, I am upset. but...Seriously.. It's one thing to mess up my order, its an entirely different insult to make me praise Advanced Auto parts. So for folks on a timeline that want to save their hard earned money.... Just know you may in fact need to act like you are ordering from the back of a magazine in 2021 and just ''allow 3-6 weeks for delivery'' .

    I had a very frustrating experience at AutoZone. They clearly state that they open at 7:30 AM, but…read moreby 8:00 AM the store was still closed--even though there were employees inside. That's completely unprofessional and disrespectful to customers who wake up early and rely on accurate business hours. What's the point of posting opening times if you're not going to follow them? People have jobs, schedules, and responsibilities. Standing outside waiting while staff ignores customers is unacceptable. This isn't the first time I've had issues here either. The service is inconsistent, and it often feels like customer satisfaction is not a priority. If you can't open on time, at least update your hours or communicate properly. Definitely needs better management and accountability.

I had an appointment back home and had limited time to waste so I ran in and chose two random products for mirror adhesives and ran up to the register. This is where Katie (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly) was so amazing. She helped me go through the different options of the different kinds of mirror adhesives and carefully suggested the benefits of both products before I chose which one would work better. She also came out with me to my car to help me reattach it, and even put on gloves so she could assist me with the glue and cutting it open. This was nothing short of wonderful customer satisfaction and dedication to I appreciate you, and your dedication to putting your customers first! Shout out to Katie and the employees at Autozone on market street!
