The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because I expected that my boots would be returned to me not only repaired but also cleaned and polished, which did not happen. I'm surprised that Saad's wouldn't take the time and extra effort to ensure that the whole product looks good when returning them to the customer after a fix. In a world of copycats in the Pac NW working boot style, it's important to really understand that White's, Nick's, and Wesco are the holy trinity of boot brands. Nick's is not as big as White's and they're a good bit slower, but you can bet that your boots will be made properly, and they welcome any feedback on their product in order to make it better. Also the break-in is real. If you don't work on your feet, really consider the dress leathers. It's not a contest and thats 60-100 hours you don't need to be hurtin' if you've got places to be and don't have the time to break in a pair of sturdy boots in your spare time. Seriously I doubt someone would look up the YELP review of this brand with the internet and all the forums this brand is mentioned on, but if you're considering a pair of Pacific Northwestern work/safety boots and you want it made by a brand with less than 15 bootmakers on staff, all making them one at a time without any automation (nearly 1.5 weeks to make a pair of boots start to finish) this is what you're looking for. I'm on my third pair with them, the fit is exactly the same, and the materials used are of the highest quality. Because if you can find better, they'd just buy it for you and everybody else. I have high arches and plantar fasciitis and have spent years daydreaming about boots that fit perfectly and these do. I really like the fit, look and the feel of them, they are a classic western work boot. I ordered them exactly the way I wanted, the right color, insulation and a leather lining and arches build to my specs. I wore them out of the store and it felt like cinder blocks on my feet. When they say a hundred hours of break-in they mean it. I was worried about making an expensive mistake and pleased I did not make one. I have worn them 12 hours a day for nearly a month and like them more every day. My feet like them and feel better than they have in ages. I have owned Danner's, Red Wings and Matterhorn boots, none of them cheap and spent a ton on orthotics and expensive foot beds of all sorts. They help to a point, but none of them are as nice as these boots. I'm hoping the new owner's treat the company with respect and keep the quality high.

They even do upholstery and re-caning, and yes, they do handle insurance claims. I bought a jewelry box from an inexperienced seller on eBay. It was collectible prior to being shipped, but the seller basically dropped it into a box, no padding, no protection, and mailed it to me. I'm kind of surprised the box didn't break, but it was heavily scratched, dented and just blech. Worst part is, it's a black box with a specific lacquer, and lacquer is painfully difficult to match. They spent far longer on this box than they should have, probably putting in more work than I actually paid for. And wouldn't take more money for their services. They did a fabulous job, far better than I had expected. Knowledgable, experienced, and very trustworthy.
