It's really hard to find places like this anymore---models, parts and Bryan & Bruce able to answer any questions about your models you may have. In 1972 I bought and built a 1:24th scale Tiger 1 tank. It was amazing. I got married in 1973 and the tank got crushed by accident. I quickly found that it was almost impossible to replace. That is until two weeks ago, back in a corner up on a dusty top shelf of BB Hobbies there it sat. A motorized version at that! These two older gentlemen have been in the Spokane area my whole life I have always went there for my RC stuff and my models they're very knowledgeable about all their stuff and are not afraid to tell you if you're going to need something I don't carry and they would be more than willing to order it first I appreciate both. Even though they are a licensed Lionel dealer, they have very little to no stock. I called customer service at Lionel to find out the nearest Lionel dealer to Spokane. Lionel informed me that they have several licensed stores in the Seattle area, (5 hours away from Spokane). read more

I saw a review here about their scale model selection, saying that it was small and barely anything. almost didnt go but im glad i did, huge selection majority of the kits are old but quality kits nonetheless. However the paints they have there are not really competent. great place to pick up a kit and tools and whatnot but id recommend getting the paints elsewhere. read more

Great place to go browse for your hobby needs as they've got a good selection of cars, trucks, airplanes, etc. Staff not so helpful; had what looked to be a pieced together kit containing extra wing parts for a specific plane which I needed. This kit didn't originally come from the factory with the extra wing parts they had, so why not be a little flexible and just sell me the parts I needed, rather than the whole package? It was all or nothing with this guy... Oh well. read more

First I was blown away by the size of the store and amount of inventory they have. They have almost everything you could ever need as far as RC planes and cars, plastics etc. They are however quite firm on the prices. The only thing that put me off is the one brother stated "Rather than moving inventory (planes that are already built), coming down on price a little bit they would rather crash them than letting things go or negotiating prices" on non vendor items. Recently had an electric RC car given to a grandson by his neighbor. Took into B & B with a steering problem. The owner took time to diagnose the problem, a failed radio controller. They sold me a quality replacement and even installed the unit while I waited! No charge for labor, though they certainly could have charged for that too. Anyway, GREAT service and much appreciated. After Reading the reviews on this place, I thought it was going to be a bad experience, totally the opposite! Brian was very helpful and really knows his stuff. If your looking for a hometown hobby shop this is your place! Keep in mind this is not a chain store so the store front is rough and the inside is PACKED with plans, cars, boats etc. Yes, they could probably dust but who cares! They carry lots of RC stuff but I am interested in modeling so that is mainly why I shopped in here on a FEW occasions. Scale model selection is decent, but the organization is just terrible. Wide selection of Testors and Model master paints, but IMO those are for the old timers who don't use an air brush. They need to get some Tamiya or Vallejo acrylics in there. Also the staff is just rude, your typical comic book / hobby store know it all behind the counter. Buy online or White Elephant before going here. read more

Great stuff, super fun to snoop around. A broad spectrum of models, trains, planes and RC goodies with some real treasures to be found, definitely worth a visit. The owners are not very personable; I've been spending money there for years and they act like they don't know me, maybe they don't.
