    We didn't want to leave this review. In October, we reached out to Lan with an upholstery project:…read moretwo small chairs, and we had the fabric to recover them. He was very responsive, and was willing to work with us even though we wouldn't be purchasing fabric from him. We dropped the chairs off in mid-Nov, paid a deposit. He said he could have the chairs ready by the second week of December, even though he had other projects ahead of ours, and was planning to move his shop. A week before Christmas, we reached out to him- no response. When we still hadn't heard from him a couple weeks into January, we began to worry. Lan works on his own, and we were genuinely concerned he was unwell. By the end of January, we had: physically visited his shop, left voicemails and multiple texts, emailed his business address, and mailed a physical letter to his home address (the address for his business on the payment app). It wasn't until we finally contested the deposit on the payment app that he reached out to us. He was very apologetic and said he had health issues, including a hospitalization over Christmas, and was just getting caught up. He promised the chairs in two weeks. We told him that was fine, and after three weeks checked in. He told us they would be ready for pickup the next week. We asked to schedule a time- no response. Now, it is Apr 26 and we haven't heard from him in over a month. Though the payment app refunded our deposit, we are out two armchairs and over 9 yards of upholstery fabric. We are leaving this review in the hopes no one else has a similar experience.
