I am writing this review with a lot of disappointment because I have been a loyal customer of this…read moresalon for almost three years. I genuinely wanted to continue supporting the salon, but unfortunately, my most recent experience was the final straw. My nail technician was Jean, and when I first started going to her, I was very happy with my services. However, over time, I began noticing several red flags. I would routinely make my appointments two weeks in advance, only to arrive at my scheduled time and still have to wait. I also noticed that Jean would tell me she could do certain nail designs, but once the appointment began, it would become apparent that she could not execute the design as promised. During my most recent visit, I specifically asked Jean beforehand if she could complete a particular design, and she assured me that she could. As the service progressed, I realized that the design was not coming out the way I had requested. I very politely asked her to stop because I was not happy with how it was turning out. Her reaction made me uncomfortable, and it felt as though she was upset with me for simply expressing my concerns. To make matters worse, she had already cut my cuticle during the service. At the end of the appointment, I felt extremely uncomfortable because it seemed like they were rushing me out of the salon. My nails were done on Friday, and they are already chipping. For the price I paid and considering the fact that I have been a loyal customer for almost three years, that is completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, this is also not the first time I have felt that Jean has been aggressive or had an unpleasant attitude toward me. I have overlooked previous incidents because I genuinely wanted to support the salon and maintain a good relationship with my nail technician. However, this experience crossed the line for me, and I will no longer be returning. Another issue is the front desk. The owner, Jessie, also handles the front desk by herself, which frequently results in very long lines just to pay and leave. I understand that running a business can be challenging, but after being a customer for nearly three years, I expected a better overall experience. It honestly saddens me to write this because I have supported this salon for a long time. However, loyalty should be appreciated and met with professionalism, good customer service, and quality work. Unfortunately, that is no longer the experience I am receiving here. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously because I would hate for other long-term customers to have similar experiences.

Okaaaaayyyy NuZen, okaaaaay…read more.. Once upon a time I went to Thailand and got a $3 Thai massage every single day. I missed them, and when I saw this spa offered them, I booked an appointment. Compared to the massages in Thailand, this was like 75% Thai, 25% deep tissue, and it was fantastic. In Thailand, they don't use oil. Here, they did, and it was great. My body was stretched and beaten, and I feel like I just ran a marathon, in the best way possible. Anyway, the spa itself is really nice. I was pleasantly surprised. I've lived in this town for over three years and never thought to go in, but it's lovely! The staff is great too and the prices are very fair.

Came back today to get it fixed and was met with hostility from the guy Jason I think who was going to fix them because she wasn't here, trying to get help to find the exact color and he was obviously annoyed I didn't know the exact color. Eventually found the color and when he fixed my nails there was a black dot in the corner of my thumb and I asked him to fix it and he persisted it's so tiny it didn't need to be fixed. He clearly isn't here to work, not sure what his purpose is if he so openly expresses his distaste for customers request. Just a waste of time each time I came, find elsewhere if you value nail retention and good customer service. Was rushed out on Sunday night when I came and they even demanded payment halfway through my appt because they were about to close at 7:30, and asked for payment before even 7:15, rubbed me the wrong way but I obliged. Tried to give them a second chance but still left unsatisfied even after coming to fix the initial issues. Nice decor inside and clean , but that's about it for good things about here. Just wish there wasn't so much pushback when I make simple request like having my French nail tips thick how I like it and being told "Oh you like it weird" when she was doing my nails. I'm paying for the service so just because it's not what the artists wants, doesn't mean I should be made to feel a type of way about MY choices for MY nail designs I'm gonna be wearing for the next two weeks... Lastly they fixed my nails for free but the customer service was just terrible which outweighs everything good about my experience.

Unfortunately, Sunny, the technician, not only struggled with the shape but also had a poor attitude when I pointed out the mistakes. She cut my nails too short and denied it, despite them being half their original length. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, Sunny was defensive and unprofessional. The owner eventually took over and was even more unprofessional, raising her voice and telling me not to return if Hannah wasn't there. She then charged me for a full set of tips that I never received. I did a fill-in. When I asked why she overcharged me, she said that a fill-in and a new set of tips cost the same, which is a lie. She was nasty and derogatory with her words and started yelling at me when I tried to explain to her what I wanted. I also recorded everything they said in their language, and when translated, I realized the nasty things that they were saying. This is by far the worst nail spa I've ever been to on Long Island. I will NEVER go back. I've heard way too many people complain about how rude they are and the horrible work that they do. Overall, this was a frustrating and unpleasant experience.

I got a pedicure and gel manicure, and they have a large swatch of colors that are part of their 'match' polishes- which means the gel polish for the manicure is the same exact color as the regular polish for your pedicure...so no more matching guess work! The colors include Opi and Essie as well as another brand which is the match system I just described. I'm writing this post a month after my service, and my toes are still pained! My gel mani lasted just over two weeks, so it was a good job! I wash dishes every night, so I was impressed. Again, it wasn't busy when I was there, so I don't know if the service skews when they're busy, like so many other places, but the nail tech did a nice job! They have a ton of pedicure options. The cheapest is $25 and includes an apricot scrub and callus eliminator. I went for the 'ultimate pedicure' for $30 and that claimed to be stress relieving and other magical things, but I think I would save the $5 next time and just do the other one I mentioned. I included a picture here of their wall of pedicure options bc it's daunting to sit down and choose under pressure. They have a green tea pedi and a cinnamon honey one too- maybe another time. 4 stars because I wish it was a bit more relaxing- I brought a book to read while getting my pedicure, but I guess since they weren't busy, another tech came and started filing and buffing my nails while I was getting the pedi. Overall, it was CLEAN and good service. I'm surprised there are no other reviews here. I paid by credit card and gave the tip in cash, since the sign says cash tip only.
