I tried this place twice & 1st time after a week all nails were lifting & had to fill nails after 7 days to keep them from coming off. I also, had my gel polish flaking off. This location is clean and the workers are nice. I'm looking for a place to get gel manicures regularly. The price seemed great. $25 for gel in your nails. Gel Tips would be $35. They don't charge for gel removal. I thought this would be the place for me. Now all I'm really looking for is a manicure to last a minimum of 2 weeks. I'll feel like it's money well spent. I barely made it a week before it started lifting and snagging on my hair. I'm not doing anything crazy, like washing dishes or having my nails submerged in water. I've now lost polish on 3 nails. i came in to get a gel pedicure, to start off, the nail tech did not even ask me if I wanted my nail cut down or if I wanted a specific shape and did what she wanted, by the time I told her what shape I wanted my toes, she cut them down so short it couldn't be fixed. she also charged me an additional $5 to get a French tip pedicure with a thin line. so essentially your paying more money to get less polish on your toes. LOL They also add their own 5$ tip to each service apparently with no heads-up before the service. Definitely save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I think the name of the lady that does my toes is T. Or at least thats what they've told me. The first time she did my pedi she cut my toe and i didnt like her for that, before her i had another nail tech that did my toes sally i think her name was but anyway after T cut me i didnt want her to do my toes anymore i was scared she was gonna cut me again but i decided to give her a second chance and boy am i glad i did. She is the best nail technician ever!!!!!! I LOVE her work. Im never disappointed by her work besides that one time that i was cut. Its like she understands my feet. I've let other techs do my toes when she has the day off and i honestly will not allow anyone else to touch my toes because they dont do the work that T does. I absolutely love her. Did a walk in today for a gel manicure and spa pedicure. I didn't get the name of the technician who did my nails (both toes and gel) but it seemed like she was in a hurry to get done yet it wasn't busy at all at the salon on a Tuesday afternoon. Told her I wanted the water hot and it was lukewarm. She did very little pushing of the cuticles and no massage or hot towel whatsoever. My gel was okay, there are little missed spots on the sides and the water where i am supposed to soak my hands is also cold. No massage and everything was sped up. I gave this business another chance since I heard they upgraded their chairs and nail tables. The old ones were extremely dirty and unsanitary. I was hoping things had turned around for the better because they are close to my home. Unfortunately, I regret my decision even though the tables and chairs are new. The baby mentioned in one of the previous reviews had to be the the one that was there today and there was some crying. I understand that babies cry and it might be unavoidable on a rare occasion to bring your child to work, but a spa service shouldn't have a baby there. I can't imagine all the dust from the acrylic removal is good for a baby's health either. I was just as surprised that their prices for nails went up so much since the last time I was there. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The WORST nail salon ever! AVOID AT ALL COST!!! I went here to get a pedi and a dip mani the day before thanksgiving. I spent 2 hours here getting this done. I kid you not, the pedicure massage was less than 1 minute and then my pedicure chipped 2 days later when normally I can go 3 weeks to a month without it chipping. Onto the dip manicure. So I walked in asking for dip color and the nail tech insisted on gel. I asked to still see the colors for the dip and as I was looking at them I could here them talking about how I wanted dip but should just get gel. After looking at all the colors, they were all hideous & told the nail tech I would try out the gel. The nail tech filed my nails way too much cutting the skin in multiple places. I leave the nail salon and not even 24 hours later the gel chips on not 1, not 2 but 3 nails!! I was annoyed at this point because it's thanksgiving, I spent 80$ to get them done & I don't do anything for work except sit at a desk in a call center so I'm not rough on them. I go back on black friday to get them fixed and I explained that I don't want gel again because I live 40 miles 1 way from this place so 80 miles round trip and now I'm back here for a 2nd time to get them fixed and didn't want to have to come in for a 3rd time. So they do the dip just a plain pink color dip this time and I was there for an hour and a half this time. Again she filed my nails too much it cut my skin since it was rubbing it. I swear I wanted to tell the other people to run ASAP!! I leave this place with the nails pictured here. They looked terrible but my boyfriend was waiting in the car for me and was able to watch a full movie & an episode on netflix while waiting so I left. I KID YOU NOT THE SAME NIGHT WITHIN 2 HOURS OF GETTING MY NAILS DONE THE DIP POPPED OFF!!!! (as pictured) I was FURIOUS to say the least! I go back for a 3rd time the next day to just get a refund for this. The lady tried to say she would fix them and have someone else do and at this point I was annoyed and pissed off with how much time & money & gas I wasted. The lady tells me she can't give me a refund and has to ask the owner or manager which neither was in and that she would get back to me. I left my phone number and the manager called me back when he got in. At this point I had to go somewhere else to get my nails done because of how bad they were and as I went to get them done the rest of the nails left from this terrible salon ALL POPPED OFF IN FULL PIECES! The manager tells me he can refund it but had to come back in for a 4th time. I go in that sunday because I have work and a life outside of this. I go in to get a refund and they tell me they can only refund my manicure not the terrible pedicure that was done and that I paid for!!!! I was so annoyed I had to take my money and just go and had to dispute the charge with my bank since they didn't refund the full thing like I was supposed to get back. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!!! I got a gel manicure ($30), a regular pedicure ($20), and eye and lip waxing ($15) at a very reasonable price. I wasn't pushed or hassled to try and buy more product or services, which I loved! I didn't get the vibe that they were talking bad about me or gossiping in their language like most places do. Professional. I went in on a tuesday got my toes done with henry and they were good but i went in on saturday and got my nails done with him & they're HORRIBLE. Tammy no longer owns this nail shop. I went today and will not return. I got the house special mani pedi for 35$ The water was cold and when I mentioned it the nail tech oh you want it hot. So she poked a hole in the plastic liner. And added very little hot water. With that being said the bag kinda bubbled up making it hard to put my feet in the water. Nail tech can't tell you her name she never introduced herself. She took short cut and used drummel to file my finger and toes. And before you ask my toes are not neglected pedi every 2-3 wks. Nor was that Necessary. No hand massages for me. not even my whole area from wrist to finger tips received lotion. Oh yeah did I tell you the water for my hands to soak in was cold as well. I guess they didn't want to run the water to wait for it to heat up. Maybe if you paid some attention to the little details you would have more return business. When one pays for mani and pedi they are paying to be pampered for the next 30-45 mins. So I think the little details are important. I haven't been to Tammy Nails since the pandemic happened. I came in today for a pedicure. I called first and there was no answer. Since I was close by, I took a chance and stopped in. When I arrived, I asked about the wait time. The owner, Lili said it wouldn't be long and asked me to sit in the pedi chair and relax. This place is almost all walk-ins. Very few people schedule appoints. They operate mostly on walk-ins. I was the only customer waiting when I arrived. About 30 minutes later, I was still waiting when the next available tech took a customer who came in after me. I quickly told Lili I had been waiting and expressed my displeasure about this. She claimed she'd take me next and it would only be 10-15 minutes. I overheard the other customer ask if I was waiting before her when the nail tech lied and said no. Mind you, I was the only customer waiting when I arrived. To add insult to injury, they took two other people that arrived after me. I understand that the husband, Deng, typically does new sets, but there was no discussion or anything. I'm only waiting because I need a pedi and I will not be back nor will there be a tip of any kind. The service here is absolutely terrible. I used to be a regular before the pandemic but not anymore. If I could give minus five stars I would. My short wait is turning into over an hour and I'm infuriated. As horrible as this service is I'm certain they don't have sense enough to offer a discount. The ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE. When I asked why they took three people after me, Lili said I asked for her. EXCUSE ME??? I asked how long the wait would be.
