Very welcoming environment with a solid selection of beer, ciders & seltzers. My husband and I were visiting Fort Bragg and were looking for a place to chill and found our way into tall guy brewing. It's a really nice ambiance. Dogs are welcomed. It appeals to all ages. They offer a selection of a board games, darts, foosball table, TV & lots of seating. They even have an option to order from a local slider place, and they'll bring the food over to you which we thought was convenient. The sliders were really good as well.

We had just finished our Skunk Train experience and wanted to check out the Farmers Market afterwards which takes place on Wednesday afternoons. It was an hour before the market kicked off, so we decided to have a drink at Tall Guy which is right across the street. The atmosphere here inside is very friendly with positive vibes. And it's very spacious and spread out. There's also board games available (both family and adult-oriented) to use to kill time. I can't remember which game it was we played, but we both had a nice laugh while enjoying our Mojitos. Mine was a Cucumber Lime and hers was a Peach Ring. It was my first every Mojito and very refreshing. Next time I'm in town I'll have to try a couple of their on-tap beers.

Really enjoyed our time at Tall Guy Brewing! It's a very spacious, comfortable venue. They have darts, food offerings, lots of seating, and a good ambiance. We liked all the beers we tried and will definitely be back when we're in the area.

We loved this brewery. Love that it was at the corner with big windows so you could see the people walking outside and there was lots of natural light. The bartender was super nice and we asked him to recommend four beers for a flight, and he obliged. The flavors were super fun and we had a good time just chilling and people watching. There was also a pop up serving food so we got some sliders.

Sweet spot. They play music by vinyl on an actual record player. Several choices of beer in multiple sizes. Staff were friendly. They only offer a few pub food choices like pretzels and such but you can bring in outside food while drinking. They have tons of games to play for the adults and kids. They also have live music. Definitely a place to check out

Super dog friendly. Always fun. Mellow. I have a favorite spot we sit at. My dog loves saying hi to people and their dogs here as well.

This week's lineup.

Bright shiny and spacious beer. The space is also great. We also got some great food from a pop up of a local restaurant.

Ask the Community - Tall Guy Brewing

Good food in Fort Bragg?

There is great food all around it that you can bring in or have delivered. Their beer makes up for the lack of food.

It turned out to be the perfect place to relax with pizza and beer on a sunny coastal afternoon. The beer list had plenty of great options, and the pizza arrived surprisingly fast. We went with a pepperoni pie, and the thin crust was exactly what we were hoping for. It was crispy around the edges with just the right amount of chew and plenty of perfectly crisped pepperoni cups. The atmosphere was laid back and welcoming, making it an easy place to linger after a day on the road. One important thing to know ahead of time is that Piaci is cash only, so come prepared. If you are passing through Fort Bragg and looking for a casual meal with good beer and solid pizza, Piaci is definitely worth the stop.

They have both outdoor and indoor seating, so there are a lot of options, especially if you're with kids. We ordered a salad with arugula and goat cheese, which I enjoyed, although it felt a bit overpriced. We also got the Sicilian pizza with sun-dried tomatoes and feta cheese -- I loved the toppings, and it was very flavorful. All of that was delicious, but what took away from the experience was the crust, which felt too hard and not very chewy.

However, waiting 2 1/2 hours for food that is delivered cold, salty, and soggy is not acceptable no matter where you are. More importantly, having the wrong item delivered, and not being notified can be fatal. Ordering rock cod tacos, and being served shrimp tacos, which are not on the menu, can be catastrophic for some. If the item is not being served, it shouldn't be on the menu or you should be notified of a substitution. I thought this was a one off situation until I noticed another reviewer had the same issue. Having been there multiple times, last night was the busiest I've ever seen it; the staff was clearly not trained for this kind of a crowd and were beyond overwhelmed. There was one actual server (who was trying very hard to appease dozens of patrons), and a kitchen staff that was completely lost. Lack of trained staff led to tables receiving their orders multiple times, while other tables only received partial orders after hours of waiting. Because I live here, I will probably be back, but I won't be bringing guests as I did last night. Too embarrassing. Management, please have mercy on your staff and get the experienced help you need! They're out there somewhere!
