Wall of house spirits

Stopped in for convince since it shared a parking lot with the hotel. The story of the space being the first distillery allowed on native land was cool, the farm to table concept was cool but the overall execution was just ok. The menu really didn't excite so I just got a smash burger but the burgers weren't really smashed burgers they were thin shaped burgers. Overall just an ok meal nothing to crave or want to come back it did the job and filled the belly with calories.

Last weekend was the second time my family & I visited Talking Cesar Restaurant, this time with my mom with us (from out of town). We were excited, greeted nicely and were sat down pretty quickly. Then it took a turn. Our waiter took alittle while to get to us. Once he did, he was basically rushing to get our order. 20 mins later came back with our water and my husbands Bourbon Flight. This is me by the way looking at my photo album to track the time. 25 mins later our appetizer came and they were delish. We had ordered Garlic Parmesan Wings and Giant Pretzel. We waited over an hour and our waiter finally comes back to tell us that due to a Big Table outside our food is running behind, we said that's fine. 30 mins later, he comes back and tells us he mistakenly did not put our orders in and he takes full accountability but the fact that he only placed 1/2 of order and realized it an hour and a half later and waited 30 mins passed to tell us was beyond acceptable. We had a 1 year old and a 2.5 year old babies with us, we got there at 5:15pm and left at 8pm with no Main Course, we decided to leave and they offered to give us our main dishes for free and that had to pay for our apps and drinks. At that point, we weren't even hungry anymore- we were more upset than hungry. Word of Advise- don't dismiss a table of 5 for a table of 20. That party of 20 already includes 16%-18% Gratuity on their Tab, whereas a table of 5 could be giving you 20%-25% Gratuity for yourself only & not to have to share with other servers esp. if you are given cash. That table of 5 could sit there for hours just sitting and chatting and won't turn the tables over to new guest, whereas a table of 5 can eat, enjoy their meal, give good tip and leave within an hour and a half. And you'll have new table instantly, more money for you. To the kitchen staff, don't walk past your guests when they're asking you a question and as if they didn't exist. I'd hate to think it's Race Discrimination because we were the only Asians there but that's definitely how it felt.

Second time was even better! This visit the service was fast and friendly. The menu completely changed. All the burgers are smash burgers. The Bacon Burger was yummy. The seasoning on the fries was perfectly balanced. The orange bergamot 75 cocktail is a twist on the original French 75. I actually liked this better because it has more citrus. - Glad I gave this restaurant a second try!

We came in with a party of 9 and were seated right away. Server was nice but not very attentive. We had to ask for refills (when we could get her). She wasn't bad but not equal to our automatic gratuity that was added. The burgers were good but a little dry, fries are good. The Cobb salad was tasty as was the beer cheese soup. Highlight of the meal was the whisky tasting as we left. The employee was animated and excited about the product and very friendly. A very redeeming end to an ok meal. Also, the raspberry blonde is delightful.

Stopped in around 8 last night after we got off the road and checked into the hotel next door. We looked up food in the area and this place didn't even come up in the google search. The vibe in the restaurant was good so we didn't mind the wait to be greeted or on our drinks. Service was good, and the drinks were tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Fish and Chips

We had excellent service from Jenny! Very chipper and helpful! I had the bourbon cheeseburger, but added blue cheese in place of white cheddar and it was excellent! Fries were very good. My husband had the fish and chips and found them quite good. Nice ambience and a very nice new building, the only recommendation I would give would be if there is anything that could be done to help warm up the bar area as we were pretty chilly - enough so that we went and got our coats from the car in spite of the fact that it was four in the afternoon and a beautiful sunny day. All in all, we would definitely recommend this place, my husband enjoyed the local craft beer, the food was very good, and the service - excellent! We will be back! Thank you!

A convenient and slightly upscale place to have dinner in an area where dining options are limited. Conveniently located next to a hotel. The food was good, especially the cheese curds. The prices are quite high but overall the experience was enjoyable and service friendly.

cheeseburger and fries - tasty!

Had a great meal here! We started with the fried pickles which were also delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly. It was a quiet afternoon, not busy and easy to navigate and hear one another talking at a normal volume.

My expectations were low given the area and nearby casinos but the food turned out to be pretty good and we were pleasantly surprised.

Pros: Chill lounge/sitting area at the front corner with sofas, a low bar (accessibility friendly) and board games. Big tables to accommodate groups and various bar seating. Large brewery menu screens with large range and the food looked good. Tbh we came for brews so can't comment on food. The Wildman Beer brand was so-so. Some better than others! Cons: FOH staff interaction. Why we love pubs/breweries is because of the chill, friendly, conversational flow of FOH; their knowledge of the beers and/or cocktails, their passion for sharing it with new customers so they come back again and again ... this vibe fell short at Wildman. TL;DR Good for a basic group of people looking for a brewery experience in town with room for large groups. Not for those who are expecting an awesome brewery experience -- a la PDX, DEN, PHX, ATX or SEA.

But when I saw that they opened up a location in Olympia and Steve and I were going to Olympia for a show it made perfect sense to go to this new location. Downtown where our show was is super walkable and this brewery is right there. When we went in what escaped my attention at the Raymond location was that I was particularly impressed with their own mead selection. And the mead did not disappoint in the slightest. The first mead I had was their Oak Aged Classic Mead. Such fantastic balance in body and the oak flavor was truly impressive! I got another mead from the list, the Sneaky Bastard Meer. It's called meer I believe due to the five different kinds of hops they put into it. Great floral and honey flavored highlights! Our experience here was excellent! Steve enjoyed his drink selections as well! Definitely returning for more mead enjoyment!

Is it the ample bleu cheese crumbles, candied pecan chunks, or dried cranberries??? It's all of it. Maybe it's the low lights and inviting sense of brewery in the air. Maybe it's just the beer. He wasn't particularly friendly when we first got there, and it did feel like the bill came pretty quick once we finished eating, but nothing that ruined the experience. Where I was disappointed was the portion size. I ordered the grilled chicken club, and for $15 for the sandwich alone, I was expecting a little more. That thing was tiny. I swear it was gone in about 3.5 bites. Then it's another $3 to add fries, which were good, but now I'm paying $18 for a sandwich and fries when the chicken breast itself looked like maybe 3-4 oz. A couple hours later I placed an online order for a burger for my wife since she was at an event nearby and was hungry. Same thing there. The burger tasted good, but the portion was pretty small for what we paid. That's really my biggest takeaway. The food was there taste-wise, the portions just weren't. I don't mind paying restaurant prices for good food, but at those prices I'd at least like to leave feeling like I actually ate something. I'm not saying I wouldn't be back, but maybe just for the beer and some fries.

Don't be discouraged by the average reviews. Lodge Wood Fired Grill took previous complaints…read moreseriously and revamped their menu, and my family has been really impressed with their efforts! You will notice the ratings will improve soon! While some of our favorites have disappeared (The BBQ platter with assorted meats and corn! Bring it baaaaack!), they've added others that are equally great. The kids menu has multiple options at $8.99 and include milk or juice. The chicken fingers (2) came with apple slices, and a choice of veggies or fries. The kids cheeseburger was adequate for a kid, and came with the same options. The artichoke dip was the ultimate comfort food. Lots of spinach and chunks of artichoke, served with tortilla chips piping hot. Big portions, too! I had the spicy shrimp pasta and it was indeed spicy! Flavor was on point, although I do wish the shrimp were cooked just a little bit longer. They tasted great, but the texture was lacking a bit. My husband had a rack of ribs and they were messy but they were really good! Lodge has the best French fries too! The slaw was dry and lacked flavor and dressing. It was served in a tiny metal cup that you usually see ketchup served in. On another visit, we had the new and improved adult menu burger. The patty is made in house and is excellent. You will not be disappointed if you order this. You can build it however you like. Our server was great - very attentive without hovering. I don't remember her name but we really enjoy her service. The restaurant was clean, and we saw employees immediately cleaning tables after parties left. Adequate spacing, employees masked appropriately, disposable menus, and hand sanitizer available. Felt very clean and safe.
