I brought my iPhone here to replace my cracked screen. My daughter was playing games on it up till the moment I handed the phone to the guys here. They said 20 minutes to fix. When I came back 20 minutes later my phone was open and he asked me "was your phone working when you handed it to me?" He proceeded to tell me I already broke my phone when I dropped it so the "motherboard" needs to be replaced. I was in complete shock! From changing just the screen to a broken phone! They assured me they will fix it within 3 business days and no charge. 4 business days and still no call from them I finally got a hold of the manager who said I'd get my phone next day. I drove over an hour there to pick up my phone. It was working but he says I should help them cover the $100 it costed them to repair my phone which they still said was my fault. Is this a scam?? Then I get all the way home to find out my phone no longer charges! It's stuck at 3% even with all day charging. Ridiculous. Now I have a broken phone with even more issues. What a waste of time! Went here to get my Samsung S4 screen fixed and thought it was ok. Noticed my front camera was not clear. Went back o get it fixed and on the receipt it said 30 day warranty. When I went back and explained the situation, the guy was rude and interrupted me. I'm all about customer service. Their customer service IS REALLY BAD. Don't trust their WARRANTY. It's all verbal so it can change. My boss said this and that kind of thing. I didn't get my screen fixed. They just want your money. Oh yea. They don't have a tech that fixes Samsungs on Weekdays. After weeks of waiting for Talk N' Fix to receive the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + back glass from China, i was finally able to get my phone repaired. My back glass cover was shattered after dropping it on the driveway without a case. I looked online on how to repair it myself from Youtube and priced around for the back glass cover. Price for the cover was around $20 on Amazon and Ebay. The instructions on how to replace the back glass looks easy to do. Heat the back glass cover with a heat gun, pry the glass case out, and replace with new. But i didn't feel comfortable performing the repair. My cellphone provider was charging $200+ to get it sent out and repaired. I searched around locally at various stores and booths at the mall, but they all said that they couldn't repair the back glass cover for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge +. At Great Mall in Milpitas, CA i finally found a place that will repair the back glass cover of my phone. The booth is located at Gate 1 next to Old Navy, Red Ribbon, Jollibee.Talk N' Fix was the only place out of dozens that was able to repair it locally. Jay, told me he was able to repair it without a doubt but he has to get the part from China and it may take a while to receive the parts as it was backordered i believe. I had patience and called Jay every other day and week to find out if he has the back glass cover on hand. Finally today, i spoke with Jay and he told me he had the part on hand! I came by and the representative told me to come back in 45 minutes as Jay will repair my phone. Walked a lap around the mall and shopped and when i came back to the booth my phone was repaired! Repair looks clean and professional! Great quality and customer service. I would recommend others for cellphone repair to Talk N' Fix. PLEASE JUST SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! they gave me the best deal on replacing my phone screen. I was really pleased at the price and how fast they were able to fix my phone. However I should've known that if sounds too good to be true it probably is! Ever since my screen was replaced the battery is drained like crazy. My phone is a year and a half old and can't stay charged more than 1.5 hours. So i called them and he told me this has nothing to do with the screen. After 2 days i decided to take my phone to the apple store to see what was causing the issue. The tech there informed me that Talk n Fix used a poor quality screen that never truly "turns off" even when you lock the phone. so it completely ruins your battery. Not only did i have to get a new screen directly from apple, i had to get a new battery thanks to the poor work that Talk N Fix has done!! They do not care and refuse to refund the money-- it's sad. I came here about 5 months ago with a 2nd gen, LG Flex that stopped functioning 7 months after I bought it. The phone travelled with me through 3 continents and over a space of 3 years looking for a fix from one repair shop to another but without luck. Interestingly, I pass by "Talk N Fix" so often but never stopped by because I had no confidence in the small kiosk. Right away I noticed that the screen was lightly flickering and was killing the battery dramatically. But after the one month after the warranty expired my iPhone Went haywire. The only other place said I'd need to leave the phone and it was going to be 125$ to attempt and there were no guarantees and it could be even over 200$. I would have had to leave my phone for up to 72 hrs. I was like no way in hell they gave me no confidence. Talk n fix gave me a flat rate and it was done before my daughter and I finished slices of pizza at the food court. Cost was about 1/2 of the others diagnostic fee. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH BATTERY REPLACEMENT for 45$ We had only a battery issue with Nexus 6p and everything else working fine. The guy at the counter Taran didn't tell that he was trying to fix a nexus 6p battery for the first time . He asked us to collect the phone an hour later. An hour later when we reached back, he told the New battery which we gave for replacement was not working. That's when we asked him to place the old battery, he said even that was not working. To our utter shock we noticed cracks on the screen. When we pointed out this to him he started behaving as though he was completely unaware of it. During the process he also broke the glass covering for back camera lens which he took out hesitantly from the dustbin. He started telling that he tried his best, these mistakes can happen and we need to get a LCD display (which would cost 120$ approx) by ourselves to make it work. The way he handled the phone was unprofessional. There were so many dents and scratches on the phone. They don't take responsibility for the work they do...our phones are the guinea pigs .Strongly suggest you avoid this place. They do cheap labor with horrible service.... NO STARS.... read more
