Although, they had some coats, the coats were light and not heavy enough to last through a cold winter. The prices were low, but I didn't feel the product was made well. Everyone is very pleasant, they know the lines they sell very well and what will look great on everyone. I love the honest personal touch that everyone that works there offers each and every customer! The sister store Wear It Well, is great too. I recently had to return a pair of pants and they were great with helping choose something else that would be great. You will not go wrong with either store. I don't know much about the third store, Corby Collection, but if it is a part of this group I am sure it is as great. in my opinion they ROCK the Bethesda Boutique's for women. After shopping with this group of Bethesda stores, who needs the mall. I recommend everyone take a stroll into Sequel for one of the areas best shopping experiences and if you don't find it there.............Wear It Well is awesome too.

The sales associates know their collection and are good at guiding you through the many designers they represent once you tell them what you are looking for. They are not afraid of colors. What they sell is not inexpensive, but quality has a price, and Sequel is not into fast fashion: the owner has a fabulous eye for comfortable, distinctive, and well-made clothes. Icing on the cake, they feature fabulous, unique jewelry made in Europe that perfectly complements their collections. And that's rare enough for a clothing boutique to deserve to be acknowledged.

I was in Frederick for work and it was the Saturday before mothers day. Being the fairly typical…read moremale I waited until the last minute. I saw there was a Francescas in the center across from the office I was working at that day. I knew my wife loved the company so I stopped there. Unfortunately they were not opened yet. As I was walking away the manager opened the door and asked if I wanted to come in. She stated she was done with her opening work and saw me looking in the window and then walking away. I thought perhaps she saw sucker written across my forehead and I would be given the sales pitch of all sales pitches. But that was not the case at all. Quite the opposite. The manager asked if I knew what I was looking for and I of course had no idea. I just mentioned that my wife loved Francescas and I had never been to one. I said "I guess a gift card isn't a good idea is it?" She laughed and gave me a few ideas. I found several things and asked her opinion. She was able to coordinate similar but different items and everything came together. She definitely has the knowledge of her product and has an eye for making "things" work together. I couldn't have figured it out. Besides being very helpful with the selection of items and opening up the store early she wrapped the items up in a gift bag for me. The gifts were a home run with the wife. I really thought I was going to be hounded the entire time I was there since I was the only one there and she opened early for me. That was just not the case. She left me to shop and helped me when asked. I honestly left there feeling that I would have received the same treatment whether I was the first and only customer or one of many. It is a rarity in the world of sales to find the right atmosphere where you don't feel pressure to buy and yet get treated as if you bought the entire store. Because of this, I will only shop at Francescas when I'm in the area. Which is often.

I love boho skirts/dresses/tops and Gardenbelle is my fave by far (VERY expensive tho) but Zebop is my 2nd fave in downtown Frederick. I found 2-3 cute boho dresses around $60 each/boho pants for about $58 each/boho maxi skirts for about $60 each as well. I really liked a bunch of things but I just bought a skirt and pants from Gardenbelle so I will wait till Spring 2027 to come back and get something from Zebob (and will add pics of the clothes then as well) - very very cute things if you're into the boho look but not cheap at all.

The prices ranged from around 5$ to around $15 for clothes. They have more than clothes, but I was primarily looking for vintage clothes, extravagant clothing, and early 2000s bright crop tops for a photo shoot. Unfortunately, I couldn't find what I was looking for, but they did have a wide variety of clothes from men suits to a wedding dress (only 1 I saw) to regular daily wear. The items were sorted by size and price rack, which made it easier to browse. It was an okay thrift store and clean, but it wasn't my cup of tea regarding what they had. Regardless, I recommend just checking it out since each thrift store is different and may appeal to different people.
