I fell in love with one there, but they were out of her size in the store and online. Oh, no! But, they did have a lot of choices in children's and adult clothing. Since, I was on a mission, I didn't shop for myself, but I know I need to stop back and check out clothes for me. The salespeople went out of their way to help me. They were awesome. They checked in the back of the store and online to see if they could get my jacket. That is stellar service! I did have to giggle, that I had bought a lot of the girls clothing for my youngest granddaughter. I had bought out the Toddler section. They do need a little help in the baby section. I took off one star, because the baby section needed some more attention and clothing. Gap Factory had an excellent selection from Toddlers to teens. The salespeople were fabulous. And, the prices were great. If you are looking for young people, I would definitely stop by.

For my recent visit, I was on a mission to find summer sandals. I stopped by Clarks, Cole Haan, Crocs, and Ecco. I found a pair of black sandals at Cole Haan. Mission accomplished! I have to say that the employees at this outlet are way friendlier than my local outlet over at Arundel Mills. I was greeted at almost every store that I went into. Since Lakeforest Mall closed years ago, this is the closest mall to my parents who live in Germantown. I like to shop here when I am in the area.

I did get reprimanded by the employee managing the fitting room at the back of the first floor, though, because it was apparently only for men. There are no signs labeling the fitting rooms as gender-specific, but whatever I just walked over to the fitting room in the women's section. It was just inconvenient since they segregate the activewear, and the men's fitting rooms are closer than the women's. On the plus side, I was looking to buy an item that didn't have a price tag, and was the only one of its kind (specific brand). The employee that helped me couldn't figure out the price so she just handed me a similar item and told me to tell the cashier, who applied the price of the other item to my item. Honestly, the cashier just probably didn't want to take the time to figure out the actual price of my item, but I didn't mind since it was less hassle. The line also moved quickly and I was done checking out in less than 20 minutes from the time I got in line. Is this a fantastic store you should plan a special trip out to visit? No. But it's convenient if you need/want something right away and live nearby. Parking is also plentiful.

This is more of a review for the customer service I received today from Noah, the manager on duty,…read moreand not on the clothes. I shop here often as I live close by, and they have a good selection of clothing, but someone should train Noah on service- especially if he will be left as the acting manager on duty. I now call him "Mr. Unfortunately we cannot do that." I was shopping and liked a red shirt, however, the smallest size on the rack was S. I'm an XS. Upon paying for the items I wanted, I noticed that the mannequin was wearing the last red XS. I asked the pleasant lady who was checking me out if I could take it and she said she would ask her manager-Noah. Noah said he could not give me the shirt on the mannequin because they are doing inventory. He said any other time it would be ok, but not today. (His story changed later on that inventory was not today, but before the weekend). So I said ok, can I leave my name and reserve the red shirt for when "inventory" is done? & he responded "Unfortunately, I cannot do that." That's when I got upset and had to say something... I asked if he could call a proper manager, but "unfortunately, they don't do that." I explained to him that I always come here and have items reserved, and it's totally fine, and the staff usually has it for me when I come back. We got into an argument with him eventually agreeing to get my name so he can call when I can pick up the shirt. I usually have no problem with this store, and it's usually so easy to reserve items, but Noah is either lazy, full of excuses, or just should not be an acting manager until he is trained with customer service. Normally I wouldn't come back upon experiencing this kind of service, but I like banana rep clothing and I live in the area!!! Such a bummer considering it was a slow weekday. I almost left without my items, but I spent too much time in there not to. Bummed customer!
