Gyoza (don't sleep on the pickled daikon ... must try it and you'll thank me)

Incredible discovery right here in Wichita Falls! We travel far and wide for Ramen and cannot believe this place exists in our hometown and are just now discovering it yesterday! I saw yesterday because we had to come back today and bring our son and quite the foodie himself. I cannot believe how many times I found myself saying "this is SO good!" My husband and I got Taki ramen & Veggi Tempura Rarn yesterday with vegetarian Gyoza and the pickled daikon was superb. We also added steamed kimchi and it took the already multi-layer of flavors of our ramen to even another level! Today we had Vegetarian Ramen (fried tofu ana extra mushrooms are a must and so filling) and our son got Chi-Bob boneless Korean chicken wings and Serrano sauce that was recommended with fried rice. My son kept saying "I don't know how but every bite gets better! I'm going to compare everything to this place now, I need to try everything on the menu and this is the only place I want to come eat at now"- she is gives 5 STARS as well The staff was so friendly and accommodating with sharing their favorites and recommendations (although everything on the menu looked incredible from all the other customers faces) and the kitchen staff was joyous and extra care was taken to ensure what I ordered was vegetarian friendly and informed me of all ingredients so I could eat my meal with peace of mind. The place is bright and festive with fun info facts like the why the chose a "Raccoon dog" and how Taki means "Falls" I love their idea of buy a shirt and get a discount when you wear it! Safe to say we will be REGULARS and telling everyone to VOTE with your dollar by supporting places like this because Wichita Falls deserves elevated cuisine like Taki Ramen!

Having had authentic ramen back in California, I would say the food here is decent for American taste. Firstly, I noticed the gyoza deep fried versus pan fried. Secondly, I saw the ramen were all boiled, rinsed, and then topped with soup and toppings. Traditionally, the ramen should cook in soup, as the taste is in the ramen per bite. The service here was fast, and I found the price reasonable. The decor inside provided enough ambiance for foreign taste. Being the only ramen spot around, I would say the taste is good but not best.

I was excited to try Taki Ramen being from San Diego. When we walked in and I didn't see anyone Asian in the kitchen I thought uh oh. Had the Taki Ramen which was fine. Nothing spectacular. The broth was luke warm when I'm used to it being hot. The brisket was over cooked. It was tasty though. The service was great. Our waitress was friendly and checked on us an appropriate amount of time. The interior is designed really nice. I love that they have anime on one tv and KPop videos playing on the other. I appreciate Taki Ramen existing and I will go back and give it another shot.

I had such a pleasant experience at this restaurant. I'm here visiting from Ca and what a delight. The waitress was super knowledgeable in regards to the menu and even on what the name means. Taki means waterfalls to represent Wichita Falls. I'm So glad my airman treated me here and that I got to know such a great whole in the wall restaurant. Also, the chefs, all of them are super awesome. I recommend their specialty house siracha.

Stopped here while traveling and absolutely loved it! The staff was very friendly and had us seated quickly. After that we placed our order and it did not take long to get it. The food was very flavorful and fresh! We all had different types of ramen bowls and everyone loved it! The inside isn't very big but it's well decorated and kept clean. I wanted to make a special shout out to the gentleman that was standing by to clean of the tables. He was quick to step in as customers left, which made sure that tables were cleaned quickly.

Cute little restaurant, the men greeting and sitting people was so friendly and helpful! The waiter not so much. The food was really good and flavorful but not hot. Just like warm, I was disappointed about that. I will be back but I sure hope everything we order is warmer next time.

Excellent service, great decor, clean restaurant. The gyoza and appetizer were delicious especially the gyoza with the wasabi mayo sauce! The ramen was a huge bowl and okay. I've had better ramen but it was decent and the size was very large. Overall will come here again to try other things

Service was fast and convenient. The hibachi fried rich was super salty and the tables were sticky.

Pretty good ramen and curry. Sochu available which is nice. It was good and fulfilled the ramen craving, but it didn't rise above.

I would have expected to find this spectacular noodle house in Chinatown in New York City at a much higher price point. The staff was prompt and attentive. For an appetizer, I ordered the Soup Dumplings that were excellent! Juicy and tasty! For my entree, I ordered the Pan-fried Sliced Noodle with Beef... OMG! I mean there was a chef actually making the fresh sliced noodles BY HAND in the open kitchen. The Sliced Noodles come with your choice of protein, plus eggs, Chinese cabbage, onion, bean sprouts, celery, carrots, and scallions. I assume this is their signature dish... a steal at $14.99! Run do not wok (pun intended) to the Fun Noodle Bar! I cannot wait to eat there again... Will I will try the Sliced Noodle Soup with Beef, the Roasted Pork Rib Noodle Soup, or one of their tempting variet of Ramen? IDK!

However, coming back today I would definitely not return. We started with the steamed dumplings. They were mushy instead of a nice steamed texture as if they had been sitting in water for an extended (emphasis on EXTENDED) period of time, which should have warned us what was to come. The noodles in our ramen appeared old with different pieces having different textures (soggy/mushy & stale). Everything was lack luster, the service was okay, however my breaking point was seeing one charge via my bank account and seeing another on my receipt. This place needs to find a new cook, freshly make their food, and lock in before they don't last long.

The food was good, but fell short of being great. We ordered bulgogi, stif fried squid, and dumpling soup. The dulling soup was great, delicious dumplings and broth. The squid was good but had a bit of an oddly bouncy texture. The bulgogi was also really good, very flavorful, it was just a bit dry and had no added veggies whatsoever. The pictures showed it with more so it was a little disappointing for that reason. All the rice we recorded was a bit dry and tastes like day old rice. The food is also a bit on the pricier side compared to some other nearby Korean spots. The food here was really good, just a few things that brought quality down.

The menu offered a good variety. I ordered the tofu soup and galbi, and my partner ordered the chicken yakisoba. The service was relatively quick, and the staff was friendly. The yakisoba was pretty tasty, but I felt like the taste was a bit too sweet for my liking. I also wished there were more noodles as the portion was large but there were a lot more vegetables than noodles. I loved the side salad that came with it though. My soondubu was hot and pretty flavorful and spiced. My galbi was tender and seasoned well, however I was surprised about the cut-- it did not look like your typical short rib. We also received a nice array of banchan with our meal. Though overall pricey, I do think we received pretty good portions.
