I'm Chinese and I really like Lite Pan. When visiting Burkburnett, we always get take out from Lite pan. I would say everything we order is good except for the hot and sour soup. The lady who answers the phone and takes our order is always very nice. We've never eaten in, so I can't comment about the ambiance of the restaurant. read more

Military family. Hard to find a place that serves Mongolian beef made the way it should be. 50% beef, 50% onions; served over sticky white rice. We received 3 lbs of onions and 3 pieces of beef (not joking, look at the picture) in each order. Flank steak is cheap. Marinate in the fridge for 12 hours in bite size pieces with green onions, garlic, a little sweet chili sauce, half an onion, and then dip the pieces in corn starch before frying in a good shortening (NOT vegetable oil!) Even before COVID came, it was like this. Guess we need to go back to Alaska. The crab cheese rangoon in the picture was made by my daughter. There are many things I enjoy about, but I have only one problem with it. Bad news first: 1) The lunch buffet is not fresh if you do not go during the usual busy hours. (i.e. 2:10). I understand why this is the case; they can't afford to remake the dishes constantly for an empty house. **This has never been a problem for me, but you cannot use a debit/credit card for purchases under $6. Pros: 2) When it during the busier hours, the food is made fresh, fast, and consistently. 3) This is a decently priced meal, especially considering this is the only buffet in Burkburnett. 4) The manager is extremely attentive and polite. Despite any language barriers, she does a great job of keeping glasses full, plates clears, and orders coming. 5) Easily the cleanest establishment in town. It's a small town in Texas, so o shouldn't expect much. Some of the dishes were good. Some were terrible. I'd skip any seafood dish and the fried rice and noodles were terrible. The general tsoas chicken and sweet and sour pork were good. I think sticking to major staples works. If you stick to chicken and pork dishes with white rice, I think it's a pretty good place. read more

Little Pan when we had it was not very good. The food was bland and didnt have any sort of falvor what so ever. I dont know if it was because the little lady waz all by herself doing everything or if the cooks dodnt care because it was close to closing time but never will i eat there again. Moving to a small town makes finding good restaurants that you want to eat at frequently a daunting task. We were in the mood for Chinese and the long trek to Wichita Falls just wasn't appealing. We googled "Chinese food" and lo and behold, we found Lite Pan. The location is odd. The building appears to be a former Wendy's (I'm new to the area so I can't be sure) and what should be the front door, well, isn't. The building is old and in need of a makeover, but it's inviting. Our first visit, there were only two other vehicles in the parking lot. One belonged to the employees. We ordered crab rangoon and some teriyaki . Everything was delicious. We saw they have a lunch buffet, so we went back. The buffet runs from 11am to 2:30pm. Our first buffet visit had us arriving at 1:30. We have since surmised this is too late to go and get the full experience. Unfortunately, and the reason I only give 4 stars, they don't stock the buffet very well. I understand it is due to a lack of business. The food that is there is old and you eat it because you want to get your money's worth. We have subsequently returned because we know the potential the food holds. This time we went at 11am and were not disappointed. Upon our arrival, they were still putting dishes out for the day, so everything was fresh as fresh could be. Absolutely amazing. All the choices you could want from a buffet are available and Katie, the only employee I have ever seen there, is a gracious host. Even if you get there late and the buffet looks a bit tired, order food off the menu. It's reasonably priced, good portions and yummy. On vacation, visiting family. We wanted Chinese food. They said the restaurant choices were slim, and if they "had to" pick then this was the better restaurant. With that seed planted, I didn't have very high hopes. Parking lot was interestingly positioned, but there was ample spots available. The inside was very dimly lit. There was 2 separate seating areas, one open and the other which you had to pass the buffet and drive thru to get to was completely enclosed. There were several fans going and we thought they were the reason for our cold food....nah, the food was just cold. The buffet was not full of food so our party of 7 had to refill our plates by taking turns...they just didn't make enough. The taste of the food (though cold) was ok. While refilling my plate the aroma of diesel was pumping through the drive-thru window which was very close to the buffet table. Finally our young waitress did a fine job at refilling our drinks, clearing our used plates and keeping us supplied with extra napkins.....however she kept reaching over people to do things. She was learning and she was doing a good job keeping up. Without her, this review would be a 1 star instead of 2. Next time we are looking for Chinese food in Burk.....we'll go to the freezer section of the local grocery store. read more

Their food is so so good! I particularly like their katsudon and their dragon roll. We've been eating at this restaurant for about 3 years and the owners have been so nice, and their service is always attentive.
