Hunan is by far the better of the two buffets in town. Don't waste your time at Grand. The food here is always fresh and consistent, very flavorful and good variety. It's a family owned establishment and very fairly priced. read more

This was...terrible. The fried meat is so breaded there's almost no actual meat. The sushi does not have any fish. I almost threw up when I realized one of them was not tuna, but HAM. Everything is extremely mediocre. The better items are: stir fry veg, desserts. Would not return. read more

This is the number one spot in Wichita Falls for classic fried rice. My family usually get shrimp, fried rice, combination, rice, beef, lo mein, beef, and broccoli and egg rolls to go. The customer service is always right then everybody is so polite. My order is usually ready in less than 30 minutes. When I call they already know my name lol I usually come pick it up through the drive-through. The inside is pretty quiet, the buffet is a bit small if comparing it to other Asian buffets in town, but the servers are always nice. read more

Love the food always fresh and hot!! Love the workers they are all nice the restaurant is always clean

Went in for the 1st time with wife and 11yo child. Sign on wall said : Lunch Adult - 14.99 Kids- 7.99 Same for supper. No designation about any age limit, so assumption is that anyone under 18 is a kid. You don't become an adult legally until 18(17 under circumstance). Went to hostess and asked why we were charged for 3 adult buffet instead of 2 and one child. My 11yo had 2 playes of noodles and some fruit and ice cream. They said the kids cut off age was 10. NOTHING indicates this!!!! Wasn't even asked how old she was until AFTER we had ate and asked for check!!!! Won't go back to deceptive business EVER!!!! read more

The worst fried rice I've ever eaten in my life thus far! Thankfully they still make good egg drop soup! From now on that's all I'll eat here and go to the Japanese steakhouses for my fried rice! read more

Food was ok. You could tell it had been sitting there a while. We came in around 5 so I'm guessing during the dinner rush it might have been better. Overall it wasn't bad. Waitress was very nice and attentive. read more

Hunan - Sushi - Chinese Near Me - Wichita Falls, Texas

The food is typical Chinese with a bit of American food on a buffet. Prices are $11.00 per person with dinks at $2.95. It's a self serve place... but a worker does come by to take drink orders. The decor is a mix of Asian decorations with typical American tables and booths ...The ambiance is not real fancy. read more

Hunan - This is a mix of Sesame Chicken, Mushrooms, Egg Rolls and fried Rice. - Chinese Near Me - Wichita Falls, Texas

This has very quickly become my goto Chinese place. I love to order ahead and get at the drive up window and get it home. But I also love going inside for some buffet. The buffet was clean and well stocked when I was there. It's large and it was hard to see all of it. There were little secrets I found each time I went up. They are always polite and friendly, even when they get backed up. read more

The family decided that they wanted Chinese food. Having been some time since our last visit to the Hunan Restaurant, and been satisfied with the food, I went there again. Inflation & time have caused the restaurant to raise prices, & the menus had a sharpie black magic marker strike out all the prices. One of us ordered a combination fried rice, another ordered buffet Lo Mein, & I ordered Mu Shu Beef. Upon going home, I doled out the various meals to those who ordered them. I was absolutely shocked when I saw that they made the crepes, & put the plum sauce in the container, BUT SURPRISE! THEY FORGOT THE BEEF. Of course I was irate at this, & very hungry. They said they would send out a driver with the beef that was lacking. They took over 30 minutes to deliver to me. Then an even bigger shock. INSTEAD OF JUST BEEF, WHICH IS THE ONLY THING I WANTED, THEY DECIDED TO GIVE ME AN ORDER OF SPICY HOT BEEF AND VEGGIES. I TRIED ONE BITE, AND IT WAS GROSS. I HAD TO TOSS THE ENTIRE MESS THEY LEFT ME WITH AND HAD A BOWL OF CEREAL INSTEAD. THE PLACE WAS NEAR EMPTY AT 530 PM. THEY DID NOT HEED MY REQUEST FOR ONLY THE BEEF. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT ANY LONGER. I am also not a fan of being served something that I would never order. a meal for four was over $50.00 with the undeserved tip. There are a number of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean restaurants in the area, and I rate Hunan at the very bottom. This is a true statement of my experience (MY very LAST ONE) at that restaurant. cooks could not cook or listen to directions from the manager. Delivery driver got lost on a 2-mile drive, and the prices were prohibitive. read more

Ive always gone to get take out. Its all good and fresh. They know me from going there for years. They are very nice. I always look for the little cute lady, who is thr matriarch of the family. She's adorable. Nice place. read more

Ambiance and service is typical of this type of restaurant. I had dinner there tonight at approx 5:55pm - the buffet. The variety was ok but most everything I put on my plate was barely warm. A buffet line should be hot. Unfortunately, this place was recommended by a coworker and I just disagree and won't go back. read more

Very nice staff! They have great customer service and you can see how they value their customers. The food has a lot of options and I like a their spicy bang bang shrimp, fried shrimp, jalapeño shrimp and most of the food is very good. They have a great selection of traditional Asian dishes that I love! I think they're really reasonable on their prices and they have a lot of options, The sushi is not good here, however! Their hibachi grill looks good but I haven't tried it personally. The salad bar isn't great along with dessert options, but it's a great price for so many options esp with buffets. Definitely come try it for lunch if you haven't! My family loves it here when we come every few months or so! read more

Hunan - Ann (pictured) prepared a 5 stars meal for us! Every dish was prepared with attention to detail! - Chinese Near Me - Wichita Falls, Texas

Insanely over priced for at best mediocre food, it was clearly old, they only filled up drinks and then had the audacity to ask for tip, there was a gentleman who kept eyeing down my friend and made our visit uncomfortable. read more

This is a lot of people's favorite Chinese buffet in Wichita Falls. I think it's just alright. A few years ago I got a to go order and had a piece of hair in my fried rice that could in no way be my own hair. I've had a weird relation with this place since. This place has been around for years so that goes to show you there is a good group of people who swear by this place. I've had better but I haven't definitely had worse. read more

This is my go to for Chinese food in town. The food is always great. Their sesame chicken is excellent and so is their broccoli beef. They aren't offering dine in still, but I almost never ate there anyway. We always call in and come get it. Food is always hot and fresh. They also offer delivery, but I've not used it yet. read more

Second time chicken was gross, undercooked batter and rice too dry to eat. The egg drop soup was good.

Ordered hunan choas with order of crab Rangoon. Rangoon was so stale I could hardly chew it. Hard as a rock. Hunan choas was just awful, couldn't eat much of it. I ordered a carry out box to put food in when I left. When I got home the food container was thrown into my dumpster. I will never go back to Hunan. Staff was very friendly but that was it. read more

Amazing staff, clean, good food, service is excellent, they always come to make sure you are filled with drinks and your belly full.

This is the best place to get fast asian food. They know you when you call (don't judge me) and they are always on point when it comes to your food. If I dont want any ginger and no onions in my wife's fried rice that's what we get. When we pick it up at the window they always greet you with a great attitude, ask you about your day and give you a little chit chat. Food has rarely been off whenever I order. Best spot in town for asian food. You can't go wrong here if you want really good asian food! read more

I don't recommend their Buffay, but if you order fresh off the menu, it is normally really good

I ordered Lemon chicken and the sauce was dyed or something red used it in. It tasted kind of like lemons but I will not be going back to this cause it wasn't that great of food. It dyed my lips, and my handsCustomer service was good though read more

Ordered take out/delivery. The food was delivered quicker than expected. Perfect amount and tasted delicious

The food is always good and the buffet is always full. To go orders take very little time to make and the staff is always pleasant

Love this spot and we always enjoy the quick service. Great place for big party or large family.

Best delivery food in Wichita Falls! I always call them directly when I order. They are also the nicest people!

This restaurant is an all you can eat. The food was great but I came here for crab legs on a Friday as advertised and when I arrived and asked the hostess, she let me know they haven't had crab legs in years. I stayed either way since they did have shrimp and salmon and it was delicious. I had noodles, corn, small salad, orange chicken sesame chicken, jalapeño chicken, fried rice, jalapeño rice, pork won tong, salmon, and wafers for dessert. The staff is friendly and consistently were around asking if anything is needed anything. It is a all you can eat buffet and the price is low. read more

4.5 stars Very nice decor and overall nice visuals when you walk in. The overall restaurant is smaller than most Chinese buffets but includes a small bar and a private seating area. The food selection is again smaller than most but after sampling most of the selection, it is not a factor. The egg rolls are good, pot stickers are good, fried rice is ok, and the Mongolian bbq is good. Sushi was good. The staff was friendly and service was quick. I noticed one fly but none around the food. As it stands, this is my favorite Chinese restaurant buffet in Wichita Falls. read more

Great service and well priced. The food was delicious. Don't know what's in it but I recommend the Fragrant Chicken. This is my go to Chinese food restaurant. read more

From the moment you walk in you know you're on a fine dinning Chinese restaurant. Hunan in Wichita Falls Texas has the best Chinese buffet north of Dallas in my opinion. The food taste as good as it looks. The people are friendly and it was worth every penny. I had the orange chicken with rice noodles my first trip up. For my second time up, I had sweet & sour chicken with fried rice, an egg roll, and rice noodles. Though it didn't taste that sour and I was ok with that. For dessert they have a variety of goodies like cookies & ice cream but I had the chocolate pudding. So if you're heading to OKC or Amarillo, make a stop in Wichita Falls and visit Hunan. read more

Buffet to go is $6/lb more if you get sushi or crab legs. You get a container and option for a small bowl for soup or sauce. The food variety is good and tasty. Not only not salty. I was surprised but they even had fried frog legs which my boyfriend was surprised that it tasted like chicken like I told him. When I have more time, I will definitely try their actually buffet. read more

This Chinese restaurant is a family run business that has been around forever. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is comfortable and relaxing. As you would expect from a buffet, there is a wide selection of food. I'm not sure I have ever been to a buffet with this much food. You name it, they have it. There is bountiful salad, seafood (shrimp, mussels, crab legs), sushi, and of course, Chinese food. In recent years, they have added a Mongolian style grill where you customize your own bowl of noodles, meat, veggies, and sauce. It's a nice addition. One of my favorites of all time (and I mean it) is the fried sesame balls. It's a dessert with red bean wrapped in fried doughy sesame goodness. It comes out crispy on the outside and soft inside. There are also plenty of other desserts. I can never get enough of these. read more

I have tried this place two times and the quality of food is not good. I am originally from Fort Worth and the food at this Chinese restaurant was terrible it had no flavor not to mention the price of the buffet is way too much for what their variety is. I would not recommend this Chinese restaurant read more

Don't waste your time and money. The restaurant is sticky and the air is stagnant. The restrooms look like they haven't been cleaned in years and are in desperate need of some maintenance. The food is not any better. You can tell the food has been sitting out for a while because half of it was cold to the touch. Save your money and go anywhere else in this time. read more

Hunan's used to be the best Chinese food in town, but our meal today shows they've gone downhill rapidly since the last time we bought food from there a month ago. We ordered call-in/pickup and when we got home with the food, the wrong menu entree was in the container and they refused to make it right for us. To add further insult, the hot and sour soup was all hot and no sour at all. What a shame, this used to be a great place, but they lost a decades long customer forever today. read more
