Wow! No offense to the City of Wichita Falls, but I did NOT expect to find such a gem in your fine city... I would have expected to find this spectacular noodle house in Chinatown in New York City at a much higher price point. The staff was prompt and attentive. For an appetizer, I ordered the Soup Dumplings that were excellent! Juicy and tasty! For my entree, I ordered the Pan-fried Sliced Noodle with Beef... OMG! I mean there was a chef actually making the fresh sliced noodles BY HAND in the open kitchen. The Sliced Noodles come with your choice of protein, plus eggs, Chinese cabbage, onion, bean sprouts, celery, carrots, and scallions. I assume this is their signature dish... a steal at $14.99! Run do not wok (pun intended) to the Fun Noodle Bar! I cannot wait to eat there again... Will I will try the Sliced Noodle Soup with Beef, the Roasted Pork Rib Noodle Soup, or one of their tempting variet of Ramen? IDK! read more

Had lunch here the other day and it was okay. I ordered the orange chicken and egg rolls for an appetizer. None of it was very good I would not order these things again, maybe something else would be better. The orange chicken was very chewy, but the sauce was good! The egg rolls had a ton of pork in them and not very many veggies, so they didn't have the crunch or flavor that normally egg rolls have, the sauce that came with the egg rolls was also strange and not a typical sweet and sour sauce. The servers were friendly, and it was clean with lots of seating, so I would maybe try it again I just wouldn't re order these items! read more

I rarely come on yelp to write reviews because it's just genuinely never that serious, but today I just felt the need to. Been here before some years ago and had a decent experience. However, coming back today I would definitely not return. We started with the steamed dumplings. They were mushy instead of a nice steamed texture as if they had been sitting in water for an extended (emphasis on EXTENDED) period of time, which should have warned us what was to come. The noodles in our ramen appeared old with different pieces having different textures (soggy/mushy & stale). Everything was lack luster, the service was okay, however my breaking point was seeing one charge via my bank account and seeing another on my receipt. This place needs to find a new cook, freshly make their food, and lock in before they don't last long. read more

A decent place, we can get for dinner while in the area for training. My love had ramen which he liked (it's been a while so I don't remember the exact order). He ate to the bottom of the bowl, and there was a "25% off" marking there. I asked for the discount when we checked out. My food wasn't quite the flavor pallet I'm used to, so I had to adjust it quite a bit with added condiments. The service was nice and the place got to hopping as the night wore on. Popular place. read more

I would like to say to the owners and staff of Fun Noodle Bar thank you for existing!! I'm from San Diego and miss going to either the Convoy District or LA's KTown for amazing Asian food. I am ecstatic that Wichita Falls has this restaurant!! My husband took me to Fun Noodle Bar for my birthday and OMG it was SO good!! We had the Tonkatsu Black, Beef Chow Mein, Soup Dumplings and a bowl of Egg Noodle Soup. Everything was AMAZING. We walked out completely stuffed. The restaurant kind of reminds me of a restaurant that we used to go to in Poway, CA (San Diego). So I felt right at home Nice, clean and lovely artwork on the walls. I have already told my friends how amazing the food is and we will DEFINITELY be coming back with them! read more

Steamed beef bao and beef noodle soup were great! Being able to watch food be prepared is a nice bonus!

With the price and quality of food, I would say this is a decent Asian restaurant. I noticed the primary servers speaking in Chinese, while the decor of the restaurant is primarily Japanese. The place is nice for westernized Chinese food, considering how deliciously greasy their beef roll as an example. Additionally, the menu is correct serving noodle -not ramen. I had a spicy beef noodle and could tell the noodle was fresh made but not cooked in broth. The bowl had a separate taste, while looking like a ramen bowl. Ramen supposed to be well integrated per bite. As an Asian born in California, I would pass on coming back due to my familiarity of real Asian food. However, I am sure locals would like their tasty food. read more

I really love this place - it's as close to dim sum as I can get in WF. I've had many menu items, nothing has not been great. Kids love everything here. The beef items are my least favorite, a bit greasy. Took off a star because it's just so expensive. Lunch for our family of 5 was $80. We don't go quite as often as we would like to because of cost. read more

Ordered takeout. Hot and sour soup, sesame chicken and beef and broccoli. Typical American Chinese cuisine. The soup was spicy and tangy. The beef and broccoli was a little bit different in taste than I prefer. The sesame chicken was crispy and moist. The fortune cookies were spot on! read more

Sad to say after three years of living here I'm only now just discovering this restaurant. We got the cucumbers, spicy miso ramen, soup dumplings, and pork dumplings. Everything was DELICIOUS! Very clean very friendly FUN noodle shop. Everyone loved their food & we had 3 kiddos from 6-13. I had the soup dumplings and they were fabulously flavored. I would recommend getting small sides to go with this as it is not a bowl of "soup". We simply ended up in this area and the Yelp reviews that I read urged me to give it a shot. So glad I did! Definitely returning! read more

I'm not sure how many times I have checked in here since it opened, but this place became part of our regular rotation after our first visit. The noodles are fresh and are made right in the front window (our kids love this). They also taste amazing :) Each of the dishes we have tried has been amazing. We love the orange chicken, chow mein, spicy cucumbers, and ALL the dumplings. You really cannot go wrong. The service is exemplary and professional. We will continue to go here WAY TOO MUCH. read more

Fun Noodle Bar - These beef and onion pan fried Boa are delicious!! I'm looking forward to August :) - Noodles Near Me - Wichita Falls, Texas

We've ordered takeout from here. It is okay. It does hit the spot when needed but we prefer Asian Kitchen. Let me tell you why. Their teriyaki chicken had way too many onions. Who puts all those onions in teriyaki chicken? The beef and broccoli was pretty tasty. We had pad Thai as well and it was pretty tasty. They used a different kind of clear noodle. My kids liked the scallion pancakes. As someone who knows good Chinese food, I feel like they could do a better job with core dishes. We haven't dined it yet. Overall, a good choice for Wichita Falls. read more

Went on opening day right at opening to order some food to go. And these are my thoughts: 1) Chinese employees speaking Mandarin...must be legit! ;) 2) Very clean and open restaurant where you can see your food being made - they make their own noodles from scratch: hand pulled noodles, sliced noodles, dumplings 3) Dining area isn't too small and not too big, just about right for maybe 25-30 people I think Now for the food 1) You can taste the freshness of the noodles which are very delicious (perfect chew to them). 2) the soup of the Dan Dan noodles tasted a bit salty and off to me so I wouldn't get them again 3) the Pork soup dumongs were juicy and pretty but I have had better 4) the meat in the pan fried baos was a bit dry but the dough was tasty 5) the pan fried sliced noodles were my favorite and I would definitely get that again. Loved the noodles, sauce was almost perfect (just added some spice to make it work), just wish there was a little bit more meat. Neverthless a good value for the amount and price All in all, a nice new and different addition to Wichita Falls. Go check them out! read more

I have only eaten FN via delivery.I must admit the food is good but being a vegetarian my instructions are very important. I don't eat egg or chicken but they were in my orders and clearly marked on my order to hold them. Noodle Bar could be a regular for me if they'd be a little careful. read more

Giving it 5 stars because it is Wichita Falls, not Austin, Dallas, or Houston. It's as authentic as you can get for Chinese noodles and dumplings, again for Wichita Falls. I'd skip Japanese ramen or Vietnamese pho here, I mean, would you go to a sushi restaurant to order a pizza? Or a pizza shop and order sushi? Highly recommended if you're in Wichita Falls and looking for something different than the typical fare. read more

I accidentally went in there before they closed. And the service was terrible. I tried to get it to go. I was ignored. And then I went home. After eating half warmed food. I wished they had never let me in. No pictures. No proof of anything but I will never go back. read more

The Mongolian Beef is a 5 star dish here, a beautiful combination of savory, sweet and with the addition of chili sauce on the side gave it a solid amount of kick. I usually don't go for chinese food very often, but definitely would try this one again. I ordered it take-out, so don't have an opinion on the ambiance and service, but nevertheless it was grade A. Food was pretty decent, appetizer took a while to come out. Never did get the Sake I ordered. Service was up and down. In defense of this shop I came within an hour and 15 of them closing so things were winding down, I would visit again and try something new- maybe ramen next time instead of noodles. read more

I ordered the sliced noodle beef soup. I do not recommend. The soup base had a horrific smell to it. The only way I can describe the smell is it reminded me of my dirty dog's bath water. I could not eat it. When I asked about the beef slices in the soup, the waitress told me that was Pork. Beef and pork are two different meats. Whatever kind of meat it was, it didn't look like either. Thank god I ordered an appetizer (which was normal and good). Otherwise I would've left super hungry already wasting $15 on terrible ramen soup. read more
