Really pleased with the service at Take Five Massage and Spa. Pinched nerve in my hip and I needed a therapist quick. Current therapist was booked solid and needed a back up. Scheduled on line with Take Five and they squeezed me in right away. Deep tissue and stretching work was superb. Been back multiple times and seen 2 of the therapists who were both helpful in getting things loosened up and pressure off the nerve. I know why this place has a 5 star rating. I had a 90 minute massage with Jeanette and it was fantastic. In the beginning she didn't really ask me what areas to focus on. We had a conversation about what I do, repetitive motions I preform, if I wake up with neck pain and from there she found all of the areas to focus on that I would never have thought of. She knew which leg I rested on the most, (causing lower back pain), which arm I overused and which side of my neck had the most resistance. At the end, she showed me stretches to help with all of the issues in my body. I highly recommend her and will definitely be going back. read more

I have been going here for a few years now and Mandi does an awesome job. She tries to work with and finding the issue causing tightness and pain. I almost don't want to leave this review...not because it's bad, but because I'm afraid everyone will book all of Jeanne's time and I'll never see her again, lol. I try to go monthly, more of less depending on how tense my muscles are. I love their online booking because many times this realization comes at 10pm and I don't have to wait until the following day to see what Jeanne's schedule has open. Sometimes I even strike gold and she's got one available the next day--yay immediate gratification. The environment is relaxing and dim. You can add on aromatherapy or hot stones (with notification). They also recently added hot Himalayan salt massage; if you like hot stones, you'll like the additional benefits salt offers. Jeanne is always awesome at asking if I want the table warmer on. I don't think I could ever be too warm but I know people that wouldn't love it as much as I do. She's always great at asking what I want to focus on too. I sit at a desk commonly and she's able to work all the shoulder and neck tenseness out. Another great aspect is pricing! These are full hour massages (some other chains call them 'hour' but they're 50mins) for $55, plus they run specials if you check out their web or Facebook pages. Can't beat it! read more

Ultimately, I chose this place based on the reviews and location, but I thought the experience lived up to the hype. Vanessa was amazing! I went to Take Five with my boyfriend for a couple's massage and they put us in separate rooms! This freaked me out because the whole point of a couple's massage was to be together. The radio in my massage room was set on regular radio stations, so I had to listen to ads and everything during my massage. Additionally, my therapist would not stop talking. The worst part was, my boyfriend had a headband to hold back his hair and it kept slipping, so his therapist took it off his head and threw it across the room stating that it was bugging him. Overall, the therapists here got the job done. I saw all of them on different occassions, but determined my favorites. This place is right by the base that I was able to be seen on my lunch break for a 30 minute massage at least 3 times. The prices are very reasonable and they offer a military discount. I can't praise Take Five and the therapists enough, 5 stars is an understatement.!! After suffering in pain for many years I was recommended by a friend to go see them. The girls there really know their muscle tissues and worked on muscles that I didn't know existed to correct my pain problems. One gal, Venessa explained how all the tissues were somehow connected and she knew exactly what was causing my pain. MIRACULOUS is putting it mildly. I have since taken my husband for a couples massage a few times so he too can benefit from Massage therapy and I go every few weeks just to stay pain free. I originally bought a gift card here for my boyfriend 3 years ago. He told me a few months ago that he never used it, so I stopped in and asked if I could use it instead. All the ladies were really nice and I made an appointment for myself. The shop was very relaxing and clean and the massage itself was wonderful. I went in November so it was chilly outside, but Nicole made sure to have the room warm and the bed was heated as well. The only thing I didn't like so much was the room I was in was right next to the front door, so every time a customer came in and was talking to the receptionist I could hear it through the door. I could even hear the receptionist ordering lunch for everyone, which pulled me out of my relaxation. Overall though I was impressed; the ladies are great, the massage was top notch and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a good massage and relaxation. read more
