You walk into a bay within a business strip mall and are met with a dim spa-type environment with cold water and music. The bathroom is outside the business in the strip mall corridor. I was experiencing tight shoulders and usually a message therapist can find the knots and start to work them out in an hour. I felt mine was an overall back message even though I communicated the shoulder and neck focus. We did an evening couples hot stone massage here for our first time. We were the last clients for the day. The lobby is cozy and decorated with various florals. They do an intake form where you can describe all your prior health history, any injuries, the areas you would like to be targeted during the massage, and the kind of pressure you would like. Since I've had painful deep massages in the past, I requested lighter pressure, and my masseuse delivered perfectly. My partner also really enjoyed the hot stone massage as well. Our only complaint was that we wished the background spa music was a bit louder. I booked this massage about one month in advance. They had a few availabilities on Friday, but the weekends were definitely booked up. This place was at least more available than other massage places I tried calling to book, so definitely recommend booking farther in advance if you have a specific evening time or weekend time that you would like. They do take a 50% deposit at time of booking and have a 24 hour cancellation policy for full refund. read more

I've been to Salt & Spa a few times, tried different services, and I've not been disappointed. I have reflexology, couples stone massage, and deep tissue massage. Throughout the appointment (when I'm not snoring) the masseuse checks in to make sure I'm ok. I have some serious knots in my back and it takes some work to loosen them up. The waiting area is inviting and relaxing. They still serve water and a bowl of Hershey's Kisses. The staff is friendly and helpful. I can either call or schedule an appointment online. read more

I booked two "Vive, Respira & Rejuvenece" packages for my mom and me. This package includes a 60 minute Ultimate Facial, 60 minute Detox Salt Scrub Body Wrap & 60 minute Swedish Massage. The massage was not the best I have ever had, but it was relaxing. The facial was relaxing, and while I didn't notice anything significantly improved about my skin, it felt very nice. The salt scrub body wrap was something I went into blind with no expectations. I will say, when the scrub was actually going on, it was a little painful haha. But after it's done you shower off in the in-room shower, and my skin has never felt softer! The only thing that turned me off was the Arbonne products for sale in the lobby and used during the facial treatment. I am not a supporter of MLMs and find them predatory, so this was disappointing to me. Overall, I could see myself returning for a massage at some point and enjoyed my afternoon with my mom! read more

My experience at Salt & Spa was just ok. The ambience of the spa was chill, staff very professional and the massage was great. The frustrating part was when I went to pay, I used a gift card that I had purchased there and I was told the card had a zero balance. The owner corrected the error but all the tension that the massage released came right back as I felt I was about to have to pay twice. If you are going to Salt & Spa I'd suggest paying with cash or card at the time of purchase. You will also need to very the length of massage and price I originally booked a 90 min massage and received 60 min. Again great massage but the other details made it a ok experience. read more

I came in for a facial some time back, I was expecting something more upscale and professional but the lady SCRUBBED MY FACE RAW with something like a clarisonic brush?? I also realized after the person who did my facial (I believe she was the owner) is only licensed as a MASSAGE THERAPIST! I'm posting this review now because I ended up going to the dermatologist recently and told them about my experience and even showed them pictures of my face just red and raw, almost swollen and they said she was probably using dirty materials or expired products on top of being wayyyy too rough! And then put on products that were too harsh at the end or something about ingredients not mixing well. Clearly she had no idea what she was doing!!!! Horrible and disgusting atmosphere, not to mention the room was in shambles and painted bright green like puke and the sheets were stained so horribly I didn't even want to get in them. Then she was trying to talk to me about products and clearly had no idea what she was talking about and when I said no she huffed and puffed in my face? After reading some of the reviews I should've run the other way especially since she argues back with clients have fun with this one! What a disaster. read more

Hey guys! I sent three previous emails but not sure if it was received. I had my first visit with you guys Saturday 01/02/2021 for a Hot stone massage. Everyone was nice but I wanted to let you know that shortly after my visit when I retuned home I had discomfort on my upper right shoulder when I checked in the mirror and had my S/O check it out, it appears I have two lines of burn blisters from one of the stones. I didn't notice any discomfort during the massage to the degree of being burnt otherwise I definitely would have said something. Now normally if I had a bad massage I would just continue on my way and not go back but I feel that since this is to the degree that I was burned it's just unacceptable and I need to say something in hope there's some type of resolution and it doesn't happen to another person. I had paid with a gift card I had received as a gift from another and still have a remaining balance leftover, I don't feel comfortable that I paid and got burned and that I have a remaining balance I don't feel comfortable spending at the business. I'm so glad I tried this place out. Was looking for a massage in midtown, and when I searched on a Google map there were very few. I decided to give Yese a try. Parking was a breeze...nice spacious lot next to her building. Upon entering Yese's lobby I was instantly calmed. Very welcoming and intimate. Yese is awesome. She spent quite a bit of time asking about myself and what my needs were. The massage room itself was decorated very nicely and I found it also very calming. Yese did an awesome job...always making sure I was comfortable. My husband made us an appointment for a couples massage as a Christmas gift to "us" this past Saturday. I was excited to try a new place. Please know I am not trying to be mean here what so ever just truth. The room was freezing so I was tense the entire time, I could not relax because i was so cold. The gal that did my massage smelled horrible so that was lovely. The table was so uncomfortable and the pillow that they put under your legs was totally flat by the time I flipped to lay on my back that when I left my back hurt so bad. This was an awful experience. I replied to the text I got asking how my experience was and I heard nothing from that. Totally not worth the money my husband spent. BTW he said his massage was great! I called the morning of Black Friday to have a massage the same day. Didn't think anyone was open, however Someone answered the phone and I was told that they would get right back to me after checking if someone was available. After a few minutes I had an appointment same day for a sports massage with Delila. The facility itself is very nice and clean. The massage was awesome. I could feel a lot of the knots in my shoulders dissolving. Pressure was on point throughout the massage. I plan on scheduling massages during my monthly visits to Omaha. read more

I will be back for a different service and with a different therapist because the spa does have a great environment! I will start off this review positively. The spa itself is great and I felt instantly relaxed the staff was extremely nice and professional. The receptionist was so great to work with I called to get a same day appointment and the receptionist was able to get me in. Professionalism and atmosphere I definitely give it 5 stars. Part II The actual spa service is the reason I am only giving 2 stars. I read so many positive reviews before calling to schedule my service. I walked out feeling extremely disappointed. I scheduled a foot reflexology massage and I think I got one of the newer massage therapists because it was not the best massage and definitely not worth the price I paid. It barely felt like I was getting a massage I was very relaxed in the room, but it was a mediocre massage. Beware of who your massage therapist is, is all I can recommend. I'm not sure I will be back because I don't mind spending the money on a reflexology massage, but for the massage being what it was I am hesitant to want to go back. Went in today for an appointment for me and my four kids, First they tried to over price us. Then my two younger kids did the salt therapy and the assistant did not tell them to remove their mask once the room was shut. I found the salt room pointless if they had their mask on the whole time. My massage therapist was great, he's very down to earth and does a good Swedish massage, my daughter did not enjoy her's. After today I would rather spend my hard working dollars somewhere else, and I would not recommend this place. read more

Literally was the most relaxed I have ever been. The environment they create is beautiful, quiet, and the ultimate relaxation. The staff was very courteous and kind. The masseuse made sure to check with me on pressure and worked on the areas I was most sore in. When she would tell me to take a breath her voice was calm, relaxed, and best of all not grating. When she went to get it, they took $80 off her gift card, meaning they overcharged us $35. We feel duped and cheated. Amazing! Yese does massages for my 7 year old with leukemia- it has made a huge difference- I tell her she gave us the gift of touch. Claire had a period- which I've read about on leukemia blogs- where the chemo makes the kids very sensitive and they won't even let the parents hug them. The massages helped this and her over all health and mood as well. the other thing that you probably should know is with chemo and cancer life is turns and bends and things change at the drop of a hat. yese has always been caring and understanding of what ever the treatment or the cancer has thrown at us. I was spoiled for massage a long time ago by Kassi in Lincoln (no longer working). I used to leave so relaxed I had trouble walking down stairs or using the shifter on my VW. I havent felt like that til I went to Yese. I had a massage with reflexology session-it was great. Started with epsom salt rub on hands and feet then to the table for the massage, scented oils in the salts, you pick. Perfect pressure, she hit all the kinks and worked them, scalp rub and neck work, even did my ears, which NO ONE has done since my friend in Lincoln. She took a little extra time on my hands when I mentioned some carpal tunnel tenderness (my discomfort was reduced for several hours after session-not a cure tho). Then to the feet-felt great! (BTW, take the time to CLEAN YOUR FEET and other places before you go for any massage, if possible). I left feeling both relaxed and yet energized.
