I was experiencing tight shoulders and usually a message therapist can find the knots and start to work them out in an hour. I felt mine was an overall back message even though I communicated the shoulder and neck focus. Another review had said their experience wasn't the best ever but not bad; I felt the same, it was just okay, especially with a slightly elevated price.

I found this place after a little research on the internet. They have many options, services and lengths of time for a massage. I booked it, put down a deposit, then answered a short questioner. Then i waited. Day of I got there a little early. The receptionist was super friendly, helpful & had a great sense of humor. Just before my appointment I went into a room with my masseuse Elizabeth(can not recommend her enough either!) i told her what areas I needed work on,Set some boundaries & had a few laughs then proceeded to the table. Elizabeth found all the things that were causing my discomfort & went to work on them. She worked out all the kinks (I had more than i knew about). The room was dimly lit with soft music. A very relaxing environment. The price was reasonable i thought for a hour. The place was very easy to get to. Parking was a little challenging but doable. To sum it all up, I will be returning.

I had such a great massage here with Kaitlyn! I booked a one hour pregnancy massage for $90, and it…read morewas well worth it. Kaitlyn mentioned in the beginning that she does medium pressure, not deep tissue. I was disappointed to hear this, however, the pressure she used was perfect! She asked about any problem areas, and I explained a few spots in my back that are always tight. She spent a good amount of time on these, and they feel very relaxed afterward. The whole experience was very calming, the room is set up well, lights dimmed to a good setting, and the sheets in bed are comfortable. The pregnancy bed has an opening for your belly, so lying here was the most comfortable. I've been on my stomach in months! When I flipped over, she put a soft pillow over this opening, so it was also comfortable to lie on my back with the opening covered. The cover itself has a slight angle upwards near your head, making it comfortable for a pregnant woman to lie on this, as you are not flat on the bed. Overall, this was a fantastic massage! The only thing I would change is that the music was incredibly slow, and I prefer a bit of a melody to help my brain relax. This is a very minor note, and just my personal preference. I would highly recommend booking a massage at oasis with Kaitlyn!

Ok folks, I'll hit you with the headline first, this was hands down the best massage I have ever…read morereceived! I have had easily over 100 massages over the years, mostly from the chains (Massage Envy, etc), many from hotel spas and a few from independent therapists and again I tell you, this was the best! First and foremost, if you are a "chain store" person, or leary for whatever reason, about getting a massage from someone who works out of their home, go ahead and throw that thought right out the window! April is highly educated in her craft and provides a far better service than any name brand massage place! Is she going to give you a terry cloth robe and put cucumber slices on your eyes? No. Is she going to give you a fantastic massage? Yes! Now I have always left a massage feeling better, but I tell you now that I left this massage feeling GREAT, completely loose, jelly like and most importantly, pain free! Normally, with every previous massage I requested deep tissue and I now know I never actually received that! This massage was 180 from every other, and in a good way! Here are some highlights: A) I usually fall asleep, or have minimal talking. However, April "educated" me through the entire experience and it was a very nice and welcome change! And if you want silence, just tell her and you will get silence. She absolutely wants you to have a positive experience! 2. She primarily used a cupping therapy technique, a first for me and I will not go to another therapist unless they use this technique. I'm not going to explain it to you, you're a grown up, you can Google it! Word of warning though, this technique will most likely leave marks or slight bruising on you; relax, it will go away, and it is well worth it! Third, she doesn't just use a lot oil and rub your muscles! She gives you a legit massage! If you've been to the others, do yourself a favor and go to April for your next massage! I am not from Omaha, but I can assure you that if she lived in Charleston, SC, I would be a regular client!

My favorite part was the firepit lounge--it's the perfect place to unwind before your appointment. I'd definitely recommend arriving about 15 minutes early so you have time to enjoy it. I booked a student massage, which was an incredible value at just $48. Was it the best massage I've ever had? No--but it was absolutely worth the price. My student therapist was kind, attentive, and checked in throughout the massage to make sure I was comfortable and that the pressure was okay. I really appreciated how thoughtful she was. Between the beautiful atmosphere and the affordable student services, I'll definitely be back. They offer a variety of treatments, and after seeing the space, I'm excited to try more of what Valo has to offer.

I really love…read morespa treatments and make it a point to go to high-end spas when I'm on vacation; but just because there's a hefty price tag on it doesn't mean it's necessarily that much better in terms of quality. The actual facial I received here was incredible. I would call VALO a demi spa in that it has some amenities, but not that many. They do have a nice locker room and offer spa style robes and sandals, and you can take a shower after your service if you like, but they don't have a hot tub, a sauna, a steam room, etc. Their robes were pretty size inclusive, the biggest one I saw was a two XL. The facial room itself was nicely appointed, and had a feature I haven't seen in a long time, which was a little light display on the ceiling that was very soothing. The facial bed/table was very comfortable and ergonomic. The facialist was warm and friendly, but professional. She spoke to explain things as she was doing them, and to warn me when something would be cold or bright, but didn't speak so often that I felt like she was interrupting my Zen. I can tell she was very well trained, and her massage technique was excellent. Her hands felt experienced, and the way she moved from treatment to treatment was seamless. The only thing I noticed that could be improved upon was the volume of the music in the lobby. I really like the music they had, which was sort of a more modern spa track, but as the receptionist was giving me the tour, she spoke with her back to me and between that and the music I couldn't hear what she was saying.
