I was experiencing tight shoulders and usually a message therapist can find the knots and start to work them out in an hour. Another review had said their experience wasn't the best ever but not bad; I felt the same, it was just okay, especially with a slightly elevated price.

I had such a great massage here with Kaitlyn! I booked a one hour pregnancy massage for $90, and it…read morewas well worth it. Kaitlyn mentioned in the beginning that she does medium pressure, not deep tissue. I was disappointed to hear this, however, the pressure she used was perfect! She asked about any problem areas, and I explained a few spots in my back that are always tight. She spent a good amount of time on these, and they feel very relaxed afterward. The whole experience was very calming, the room is set up well, lights dimmed to a good setting, and the sheets in bed are comfortable. The pregnancy bed has an opening for your belly, so lying here was the most comfortable. I've been on my stomach in months! When I flipped over, she put a soft pillow over this opening, so it was also comfortable to lie on my back with the opening covered. The cover itself has a slight angle upwards near your head, making it comfortable for a pregnant woman to lie on this, as you are not flat on the bed. Overall, this was a fantastic massage! The only thing I would change is that the music was incredibly slow, and I prefer a bit of a melody to help my brain relax. This is a very minor note, and just my personal preference. I would highly recommend booking a massage at oasis with Kaitlyn!

I booked a 60 min Chinese Tui Na Massage. This massage is not for the "faint of heart" people. They use their whole body to massage/stretch you--fingers, hands, elbows, forearms, knees, feet, etc.--sometimes up on the table with you using the pressure of their bodies. My masseuse (Erica) was strong for her petite frame and the pressure was spot on (I am also a petite person). She found the knots and kinks in my back and worked them until they were pliable. The price is absolutely reasonable. $60 for one hour. Tips are a MUST in my opinion as they clearly work very hard at their craft. I'm DEFINITELY going back for regular massages and ecstatic I found a great spot in Omaha that does massages for relief and not just relaxation. Highly recommend!!! *They also offer many other "regular" massages for the typical customers. :)

I told her I had chosen the wrong service and I would handle rescheduling a different service. She said no problem, it hasn't shown up yet, but she would handle it. When I still got charged I asked why. I got the run around from the owner and a bunch of lies and made up stories that she thought I rescheduled that service. When I specifically told her on the phone that the service I had accidentally chose was NOT something I wanted. She never refunded they money after several messages back and forth. Worst customer service I have experienced in years.

My favorite part was the firepit lounge--it's the perfect place to unwind before your appointment. I'd definitely recommend arriving about 15 minutes early so you have time to enjoy it. I booked a student massage, which was an incredible value at just $48. Was it the best massage I've ever had? No--but it was absolutely worth the price. My student therapist was kind, attentive, and checked in throughout the massage to make sure I was comfortable and that the pressure was okay. I really appreciated how thoughtful she was. Between the beautiful atmosphere and the affordable student services, I'll definitely be back. They offer a variety of treatments, and after seeing the space, I'm excited to try more of what Valo has to offer.

I really love…read morespa treatments and make it a point to go to high-end spas when I'm on vacation; but just because there's a hefty price tag on it doesn't mean it's necessarily that much better in terms of quality. The actual facial I received here was incredible. I would call VALO a demi spa in that it has some amenities, but not that many. They do have a nice locker room and offer spa style robes and sandals, and you can take a shower after your service if you like, but they don't have a hot tub, a sauna, a steam room, etc. Their robes were pretty size inclusive, the biggest one I saw was a two XL. The facial room itself was nicely appointed, and had a feature I haven't seen in a long time, which was a little light display on the ceiling that was very soothing. The facial bed/table was very comfortable and ergonomic. The facialist was warm and friendly, but professional. She spoke to explain things as she was doing them, and to warn me when something would be cold or bright, but didn't speak so often that I felt like she was interrupting my Zen. I can tell she was very well trained, and her massage technique was excellent. Her hands felt experienced, and the way she moved from treatment to treatment was seamless. The only thing I noticed that could be improved upon was the volume of the music in the lobby. I really like the music they had, which was sort of a more modern spa track, but as the receptionist was giving me the tour, she spoke with her back to me and between that and the music I couldn't hear what she was saying.

Was also disapointted that she had a special going on thay my boyfriend wasn't aware of yet it was all over facebook (christmas promotion) he didn't get to take advantage of that deal. The gift card is now pointless to me as I'm not going to pay more just to use it. It's unfortunate but it's what happened to me. Watch your expiration as mine was only good for 4 months. I feel like when they're a gift they defenitly shouldn't expire considering some people buy gifts early and if they do expire it should be plenty of time 6 + months.
