The first time I got a massage here I was pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness of the staff here. They immediately have you sit down near the door to take your shoes off and put indoor slippers on and they walk you to the massage room. I remember the massage being exactly what I needed at the time. More recently, I booked my boyfriend and I a couples massage for our anniversary, something we've both needed for awhile. We've both been stressed and tense lately and I thought this would be the perfect way to celebrate. They welcomed us as we got in for our appointment and got us settled into our room. Each masseuse could find easily where are muscles needed the most attention. I appreciate that they also stretched my arms to further aid in the relief of my upper back. The whole massage I could not relax at all I wanted it to be done already. but at the end I left and went to my car to check my birth control in my arm and it was sore and swollen around my birth control and that has never happened in 3 years of having it. I now have to make a doctors appointment to get my birth control checked as I am afraid it may be damaged now. The masseuse asked me a couple times if the pressure was all right. This was also my first time experiencing ' back walking' the masseuse was incredibly skilled at! After the massage, I felt relief in the sore areas of my muscles, and I was so sore for the next day or two. This was definitely a very deep tissue massage! Also, this is not a relaxing spot. I expected, I would love to return, especially when I'm looking for a lot of pressure to work out knots in my muscles.
