Josh and Pierson were cool. They were quick, it's a pull up sit in your vehicle while they service your truck spot. The guys were thorough, didn't rush me through any questions or concerns, and overall I was in and out. Paid for high mileage oil change so it worked out to $128.29. Got in about 8:20am and was out by 8:40am. Suggested things I should keep in mind but didn't push me into paying or buying anything extra. I'll be coming back to this location. I came to the take 5 across from unique jewels and OH MY GOODNESS we where here for about 1hr and 30 minutes just waiting. We had no choice because we needed the oil change ASAP! And I usually have no problems with the take 5 back home but this one sucks! Actually takes the gold medal for worst service. Their was about 4-5 employees working on one truck. Would not recommend coming to this take 5. I was hoping for a quick service like usual. Everyone was all gather up together at the office while we are out here waiting for an oil change. My last oil change here was the last. The technicians did not install all screws for my splash guard. This caused my splash guard to warp, drag, and tear on the ground, damaging it. I've gone to almost all take 5's and had a nice experience. I was at this location for the first time, and was in the bay for a good 30 minutes or so. I get being busy and understaffed so I was patient (even though it defeats the purpose of the their brand). What caused me to take the time to write this review is the fact that one of the workers took out my cabin filter and showed it to me and said "yea this is pretty bad do you want to change it?" And I said "no, thanks." And he proceeded to place it back in BUT then takes it out and takes out his phone, snaps a picture of it and begins to text...RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! His other employee steps over and starts laughing and then begins to look at me and laugh. I didn't need the change because my dad could do it for me. I'm not going to pay extra money and service when I could get it somewhere else for free. It was the unprofessionalism and rudeness of this place that I won't be returning to ANY take 5's in the future. Just unnecessary and childish. Being a female is already stressful as it is because most people think we're all stupid when it comes to mechanics but we're not. I came for a routine oil change and was told I was 3rd in line behind a truck that wouldn't start. it took 3 hours for them to even come by the others in line to tell them how long it would be.. THREE HOURS!!!! I took a 30 minute nap in my car dude.. after they finally started doing oil changes again it went fairly smooth and quickly but I wish they could've told us we would be waiting for so long so I could leave and come back. read more

I was reading the last review the same thing happened to me the guy said 24 days ago ..he waited for an hour the girl move me up and then she disappeared for 15 minutes didn't say nothing I was invisible for 15 minutes finally somebody said I guess the supervisor told somebody serve this guy ..Plus before they used to give cold water no nothing after spending $127 not even check my tires this seems to be like a repeat. Horrible service, came for an oil change and left with a radiator not working after they wanted to change the coolant. The manager named Chris continently left during the ordeal and left the workers trying to figure things out. I usually go to the take 5 on Fairmont in Pasadena and they are so nice, fast and greet you with a water and let you know how long it will be but I was closer to this location on Bay Area that day. I gave myself an hour thinking I could get my oil changed in that time as I had to go to work. There was a car finishing up and a truck in front of me when the girl waved me in to pull in the garage behind the truck. I looked at the time and thought I still have 40 minutes before I have to leave to make it to work surely it won't take that long to do one oil change in front of me and mine. By the time i was able to pull up and speak to her she just says mileage and then walks away for several minutes so i just had to tell the other guys who were cleaning up that I had to leave that I was out of time and had to be at work. As I was leaving she walked back up but never said anything to me. I had sat for an hour without ever being spoken to. I would have understood if I would have been given the bare minimum of customer service to actually talk to me and maybe say it may take an hour to get to you so I didn't waste an hour waiting to just have to leave without an oil change. It would have made a huge difference to just communicate. read more

Wanted to give Take 5 another go. Service was much better this time, I was disappointed the last 2 times I went because they did not have a tech to do my inspection 2 times in a row on seperate days at 2 different times and I had to go somewhere else. This time It was early morning right before the Christmas weekend and I was on my way out of town. I needed a quick oil change and they were very efficient and I was in and out pretty quick. The Tech was very nice and respectful. It is was definitely worth it to be able to drive through and not have to get out of your vehicle. I hope service remains consistent. read more

Noticed today they did not put the plastic cover back that goes over my oil cap. Oil leaked on my driveway. They also left a rag in my radiator. WORST TAKE 5 EVER! I visited Sunday, December 17th at 10:30am! I requested to leave without my oil even being changed! I was in the area so stopped for a quick oil change. Only ONE was in front of me and I waited an hour. After he finished, he stood there still chatting with the customer for another 5 minutes at least. I said ok no big deal trying to give good customer service. I get it! I proceed to move forward...no greeting or anything. He goes to the next bay and helps out the other technician! Like what?!?! Still no greeting or I'll be with you soon or give me a moment! I sat there for additional 10 minutes still with NOTHING! I left at 11:30am! The service was great as far as communication goes but whoever did my old change (yesterday- 08/19/22) forgot to close my latch after they finished changing my oil, so when I drove out to leave it hit the "latch" or whatever is called. Someone else had to close it and believe messed up something with my car because now it making noises and it seems to be leaking. I'm hoping that soon I can walk-in and left them know and they would address the issue. read more

I find the older, bad reviews unreliable. I know you can't please everyone but we have gone multiple times and I've always been greeted with a. Smile and cold water. The last two times I've gone; they checked the oil; said it looked good and didn't need changed. And it was clean and plenty of it. Scam artists wouldn't have let me go without pushing something I needed. Fluid levels appear to be filled as well when we visit. Usually in and out in under 30 minutes and last time; they even had a cookie for my fur baby! We are repeat customers for a reason. Good value and good service. read more

I decide to take my car over for an oil change on 1/13/22 and the service was subpar. They took way too long, almost 30 minutes for the oil change. They didn't give me a sticker at then end of the service. And my oil change engine light is still on. It was only one lady there that had good customer service but she still didn't give me a sticker. Had them change the oil. The next day, driving down the highway, the under carriage cover fell off. Went back to them to have it reattached. After I changed my oil the next time, I realized they threw away all the bolts to the undercarriage and zip tied it to my car without telling me. They told me "we bolted it on really tight." Now changing my oil is a frustrating process. I would avoid this place. read more

After arguing with him about what type of oil I have used he finally recommended a $62 oil change. The $40 conventional oil change he did not recommend. So I just left.
