He checked the car out and even topped some oil in it while I went home. My filters were discusting. He just kept working and explaining and re-explaining, and found all the discounts he could. He was so patient and kind. Offered me water. I am new to this area and I made a trusted friend and will certainly take my car back here. A couple years after that, I had this shop replace the crankshaft position sensor on my Jeep. They charged me $130 for the part and $50 for the labor. I assumed, based on the cost of the part, that they were using genuine Mopar parts. Well, 25,000 miles later, the part went bad and I replaced it myself. The new part WAS Mopar, but the part this shop installed was definitely not. Non-Mopar CPS's go for as little as $10 on eBay and as high as $50, so I'm not sure why I was charged almost five times more than the most expensive aftermarket part, but that was unreasonable. Anyway, that's my experience. I now live further away and I do all the work myself. The only reason I needed them for this job was I had been injured and needed the car before I was going to have full use of my fingers again.

The absolute best part of the oil change is that they offer a free tire rotation which is around $20 with an oil change; not only is this the main reason for brining your car here, but the staff and mechanics were courteous and helpful. He even emailed me over something with directions. When I arrived to the location there was no one inside, it was close to closing and all of them were working I suspected. I had to use the bathroom, it was clean, there was no soap but other than that I was pleased. I went back to the counter and a few minutes later a guy came in from the only authorized personnel door. He asked how he could help me and I told him I had a "sort of appointment". He found it with ease and quoted me my price. I thought he was wrong because I thought it was cheaper. He turned the screen around to show me. I agreed and he took my keys and asked me to have a seat. While he and I were taking another guy came in. When I sat down the guy that came in came over and introduced himself saying how he thanks me for coming in and he wanted to make sure I didn't need anything and if I had been helped. I thanked him and told him that I had been helped, he asked me which vehicle was , I told him. He again thanked me for coming in. After that he (Johnathon) came back a few minutes later informing me and the other customers of the progress of our vehicles. From start to finish it was a total of around 1 hour exactly! I can't say enough about the customer service of Johnathon and his boss. Johnathon provided great conversation and he moved the cars around to the work zone so the guys didn't have go stop what they were doing!!!! He was cleaning and taking out trash and being an excellent member of the team!!!! After he cashed me out he asked if I would leave a review, I had already started before he asked!!!

Anyway, the lady told me she would work my car in for the oil change so I left it there dropped my son off for his class at CF and returned an hour later to drop my truck off for service and take the car. They had not touched the car, even though there were two employees in the office and one actively working in the shop. I told them I could not wait any longer as I had to return my son's car to him. So, I took the car and drove down to the other Pep Boys at 2425 E Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL 34470. Asked them to use my trucks appointment to service my son's car and they said they could have it done in 45 minutes to an hour so I left it with them and my wife and I ran an errand. Came back and same thing as the other store. They had not touched my car! And same scenario two guys in the office and two in the shop. I understand people get busy but don't promise what you can't deliver. I used to get good service from Pep Boys but not anymore. After a few attempts I started looking elsewhere and found an awesome repair facility in Spring Hill called Bills European Autoworks. They work on all European models including Mercedes, Audi, Jaguar, Porsche etc. Let me tell you I am so glad the this car clinic advertises the wrong number or maybe they went out of business but the place I took my Jaguar to was amazing! The people there are incredibly honest and trust-worthy and treat you and your vehicle with the utmost respect! Not a spot of grease or oil got on anywhere on the car much less my interior! Their prices are VERY reasonable. The work was done properly and actually EARLIER than the time it was promised! They did all the paperwork, emailing and phone calls to my extended warranty company as well as sent pics and videos of the repairs needed as required. There was NO back and forth as they completed all the paperwork with required video and pic verification of the scope of work that it needed, parts list and labor charges. A day and a half later they received the authorization from the warranty company to proceed with the repairs. They dotted every "i" and crossed every "t" so the warranty company could make a rapid decision! The work was not only completed ahead of schedule but it was completed excellently! I am going to return to Bill's European Autoworks in Springhillfor even the smallest of service. It's too bad Ocala doesn't have a reputable place like this. I hope this review helps you.

They spent plenty of time checking the car over, taking it for a good road test to try to replicate the noise, which they could not, as I actually expected. After a bit more discussion, I suggested that I continue to drive it to see if whatever they did do maybe fixed the issue or otherwise to let the issue become more pronounced and I'd bring it back in. We agreed that was a good approach and I suggested we just "settle up", but the owner would not take anything from me, claiming they could not find anything wrong with the car so there's no charge. I insisted that at least PLEASE post some sort of "shop charge" for the time and effort spent, but he would not hear of it! I left kind of bewildered, like "what just happened here...?" I would say with business ethics like that, you can be GUARANTEED of not getting ripped off if you take your vehicle here!! It's a good-sized garage, v. comfortable and quiet if you have to wait, but by no means "fancy". But do make an appointment. My wife and I just moved here from W.
