First of all, i call, i give exact car model and ask how much for full synthetic and ofc the guy lies and says oh yea come in is 89.99 for the full synthetic and you also have a 25$ off so youll be looking about 65$ with tax im like oh great deal lest give them a chance , like always you can never find a sincere auto care the total was 90 for the full synthetic with the coupon included ,he basically told me the price of the premium one not the [full synthetic like i had asked, just to sell me ...great start , i show up and 10-15 min WAIT TIME my ass , false advertising, maybe if you come at closing time , waited 40 MINUTES just IN the line only to be skipped by someone that came after me but ofc i wasnt in his lane so i couldnt get in , worker sees it , approaches me and says oh sorry we didint mean to skip you is , but no worries the car ahead of you is just finished so dont worry u can pull in, 10 more minutes passed car hasnt left yet , i finally pull in after 50+ minutes in line only to wait another 10 minutes for them to start on my car and an extra 15 minutes of them actually doin the oil change what a jokeee never coming back here , im going to be writing bad review in every possible web i can about this RIDICULOUS!!! If I could give this place a negative zero I would do so.On 04/20/2023 I took my 2019 VW Jetta to Take 5 Oil Change @717 FM 1960 W Houston, TX 77090 Store # 0560 @ 4:05pm cst. to get an oil change and I also agree to purchase a new air filter that day as well. The crew who provided the services were Alejandro(Hood) Gayland(Mgr.) Dominique(Pit/Mod). On 04/21/2023 I left to go out of town and started to hear a very loud sound under the hood of my car. So I pulled over @ an gas station in Dallas ,TX. Once I raised up the hood on my car I notice that a screwdriver was left up under my car just sitting there. I had to located a VW dealership in the area due to the loud noise. Once I was able to get my car there the service tech in Dallas, TX the tech stated he found that the front under tray shield was jammed into the fan. Which Gayland was the person who took it off and placed it back on incorrectly and who also is the store manager at the location. So I had to pay out of packet 480.34 to be able to return back home. I called to speak to Gayland who then ver very rude and unapologetic he was very quickly to say they were not responsible for the damage without allowing me to explain the issue after the dealership tech rep emailed over pictures and documentation Gayland then said that he would get back to me the next day and he never did. Came in for a full synthetic oil change on my 2009 cord f150. I could have done it at home but was feeling lazy. I had no issues here at this location, they open early at 7am. 2 guys were quick and to the point. They topped of all fluids, checked air filter, checked tires for air. Quick and easy, the workers seemed like honest guys that cared about the work and job. Young professional and friendly. First time here and would come back for oil change service. read more

Shout out to Rudy, David and Carlos for doing so much in literally 5 to 7 minutes from arrival to check out. They topped off all my fluids, aired up my tires, cleaned my windshield better than Mr. car wash service and gave me a reminder for a free top off before my next oil change is due. My usual place is Jiffy Lube, but I think I found a new spot. And if you are an Uber driver you get a discount! Biggest plus is everyone seemed to work well together and seem to be having a great time. I have not had that kind of service experience in a while. Very much appreciate it guys! read more

If I knew when coming here that I would have to pay over $90 for a oil change I would have never came. They told me not only after changing my oil that they could only give me the $80 change but they would have to charge me $20 for a filter that I'm pretty sure most places give to you for free but they tried getting me to pay them $20 for new wipers that I had change a week ago. I can tell you for sure I will never trust a Take 5 oil change again! read more

To whomever this may concern. I have been coming to this location for a couple years now and I haven't had any problems with any techs or managers ever. That was until yesterday. So I just got a brand new car from a big major dealership in Houston. A few days go by and the change oil indicator come on, so I pull into the nearest Take 5. I was greeted by a well respectable young man name Jacobi. He told me to wait and he will be right back to come and deal with me after he finished working on the other car. Next here comes a very young looking light skin boy yelling and talking loud name Gayland (manager) come up and ask do I need a oil change? I tell him I'm here to get my fluids checked because I just bought this car and it's saying change oil soon. So I see that Jacobi has come back over and he also told Gayland that I was here for a fluid check. Jacobi brings me my dipstick and shows me that it is still full and the oil looks brand new. In the mist of all that I watched the manager Gayland throw the computer keyboard down and walk what I believe is the office and slams the door. I hear 1 of the other guys ask what was that noise and Jacobi tells him that it was Gayland slamming the door mad because he just showed and told me that I don't need a oil change and that my oil is nice, clean, and at a safe level. I would give the man Jacobi 10 stars for customer satisfaction and knowledge about vehicles. I asked also asked if he was the manager, he said no, pointed at the door and said the guy that just walked off is the manager. The manager Gayland he is very disrespectful, rude, unkindly, unprofessional and seems to not have any knowledge about cars. He may have management skills and knowledge but knowledge about cars and how to satisfy a custom, he lacks that ability to the fullest. I think you guys as a company should reevaluate who you have in the managers position. read more

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!! My original visit was was 2/6/2020 and everything seemed like it was ok. Then the pandemic hit and of course i wasn't really going anywhere except to the grocery store. So i didn't need another oil change until June. I ended up going to a car wash spot that does oil changes as well and it was then that I was informed that they couldn't remove the bolt off my oil pan because whoever did my last oil change (Take 5) over screwed it and it could risk damaging my oil pan. So they told me to go back to them and have them fix their mistake. I end up going back to them (6/22/20) and letting them know what all happened and Izac (he was from a different location) was super sweet and showed me the bolt that i face damaged my pan and he did the best he could with what was there to make sure I could still drive safely. Not too long after my check engine light comes on then my oil light soon after. I go to my mechanic and he tells me that I have an oil leak and I needed to change my oil pressure switch because of how they messed my tread up. I emailed their contact line and someone named Todd responded to me. I sent him the bank transaction and the sticker they put in my window from my February visit and my mechanic's invoices and after over a week they tell me that they're not refunding me for the 2 times i went there because my mechanic didn't put the "correct odometer reading" on the invoices but the dates match. Then referred me to contact their legal team. So do not take your car there at all unless you have over and hour to waste and you can risk your car getting screwed over. read more

Came by for a quick oil change and everything was fine 2 weeks in ive noticed a substantial oil leak and my car is old but ive never had an issue with any leaks after doing my own inspection at the house. I located the leak coming from the oil filter and after about 2 1/2 turns it was tight on the hub. These guys are young and dont care about their work wont be back.. read more

Everyone there were super nice. Last time I got an oil change it was over $100 and they were telling me I need all kinds of other things that I didn't need. This time I tried Take 5 because it was a drive thru. The young man Darryl who was helping me was so nice. I was very happy when he told me the price was $37 and they didn't try to sell me a bunch a stuff I didn't need. They also washed my windshield,checked my tires and checked and topped off all my fluids including filling my windshield washer fluid. This place is awesome and I've already recommended it to several people. read more
