That morning the check engine light came on again. Then they replaced the catallyric converter, the clock spring, the valve cover gasket, and pcv valve. Apparently none of this was discovered the first time I brought it in. This was on a Friday then over the weekend it started making a tapping noise. I brought it in Monday and they told me now the transmission needs to be replaced. Again this was not discovered either of the two times I brought the car in within two and an half weeks.Every time you have service done shortly afterwards another problem arises. They took me for $2700. I will never go back here and I'm selling the car basically for scrap and getting an electric car.

The dealerships wouldn't help because I had not bought a BMW OEM motor at over $600 (I bought a 3rd party motor that had an identical spec to the OEM motor for under $200). They claim it isn't their fault . They say they " just stuck a battery in and changed the ignition out and it ran great" . So they didn't do anything else . That is not making sure it is mechanically sound . The fact it didn't make it to Fenton from Maryland heights says it wasn't sound . The bill for those 2 things was $1,500 by the way .
