This is the first time my daughter took the car for an oil change so I was looking for a place that not only gave great service but, also treated young ladies with decency and respect. Well, when my daughter walked in a very nice young lady waited on her and she was great! I don't have a name but, she worked the opening shift on 9/19/23. I told my daughter what type of oil to ask for and the female employee already knew what the car required. Needless to say we will be back and I hope we get the same employee(s) to perform our service.

I brought my car in this morning to deal with a potential transmission issue. After reading…read morenumerous reviews from people raising concerns about up-charging, I contacted the shop around an hour later and clearly stated I only wanted the diagnostic and that no work should be done until I received a quote first. After several back and forth calls between multiple parties, It was made clear that I would not be using Mr. Tire's services and would instead work to arrange a tow through my insurance to take my car elsewhere to be service. Several hours later, I left campus to retrieve my car so i could move it to another lot to make towing easier. After arriving, I found that my car was no longer in the lot. When i spoke with the front desk, I was told that my car had already been towed. This was extremely concerning as I had not authorized any tow through Mr. Tire. Several calls later, I learned that my vehicle was wrongfully towed by Hampton's Body Shop, which introduced an entirely separate set of unprofessional conduct. If I had not stopped by Mr. Tire to retrieve my car I would have never known that my car was towed. According to the front desk employee, a tow truck driver entered the shop and asked if he could tow a "black Jeep Cherokee." My Cherokee is gray. Despite the discrepancy, the employee handed over my keys with no verification process, no confirmation of the tow request, no license plate check, no identification, and no permission from me. This shows an extreme and unacceptable liability issue. My vehicle was released without any consent from me, removed from the lot, and not given any information of where it was for two hours. The only apology I received came from an employee who had little to no involvement in the incident and described it as "carelessness." I will be escalating this incident further with Mr. Tire and Hampton's body shop and expect a formal response addressing how this happened, what actions are being taken regarding it, and what steps Mr. Tire will take to ensure this never happens again.

I made the appointment for 2 p.m. but ended up being available to go around 12:30 p.m. I was welcomed by the wonderful man at the front desk - Christian - as soon as I walked in the door. There were two tire fixes ahead of me plus another person was waiting for a set of new tires to be installed. Christian explained they only had two techs on Sunday, but optimistically told me they would get to my tire fix as soon as possible. Every single person who came in the store was greeted with the same cheer and with the same facts so that everyone understood they were understaffed given the many customers, and there might be delays. We were all game. The techs worked so hard. One even had to stop and go to another Mr. Tire store to pick up a fourth tire for the set being installed, causing what could have been an even bigger delay, but they handled that super quickly too! The techs worked seamlessly with Christian and he with them. So, even though they were understaffed they got us all in and out quickly. My car was done in about hour and it only cost $27! The piece de resistance? I found out that Christian had only been working at Mr. Tire for about a week and a half. He handled every snag, hiccup, etc. with grace. Mr. Tire -- You are lucky to have Christian. He is a gem. He treated every customer with care and supported your technicians in every way he could. Best Boone Tire Fix Ever!

Not only was BTC very accommodating with changing the appointment; but they were fantastic for getting my breaks inspected and replaced. The owner (I presume) asked me why I thought the brakes might be bad, and didn't patronize me with my answers, which I find happens a lot in mechanics shops. I was extremely pleased with how kind and professionally they treated me. They also showed me how bad my breaks were and managed get me in and out within an hour! And to top it off, the owner gave me a little discount. I've already scheduled another service to be done next week. Great experience. Thanks BTC!

Went there because my Daughter needed a state emmisions inspection and very few inspetion staions…read morein Boone do them. We were told they didn't do emmisions until 1pm. We came back At 1pm and they took the car in and in a few minutes I was told rhe car failed because it hac a bald tire. When they pulled it out and I had paid for the failed in spection I ask which tire. After this myself who has been a inspector in another county for 30 yrs. and three other Boone safty inspectors could not find anything wrong wtih any of the tires. Do not take your car here unless you want to pay for something you don't need. I think they are dishonest or don't know how the proper inspection is done. They just want to sell someone from out of town a tire to pad the bill.
