Quick and efficient even without an appointment. Never even got out of my car. Just needed the oil change but they offer other fluid changes, windshield wiper replacement and air filter change. The synthetic oil is more expensive than standard oil but apparently it is recommended for newer cars and does last longer. A quick stop on vacation that didn't disrupt our plans. Good job!

The oil change is done by at least 3 people shouting safety protocols and making sure everything they do is inspected by you before and after the service. The cool thing is they also show you the air filters and recommend but never push you into buying one. We all know how cheap some are and the profit margins but they also try to get you discounts so that you leave like you aren't getting scammed. Went in for routine oil change at Gibson Blvd SE location. Immediately upon pulling into the street…read moreafter service, pickup hesitated, jerked and started to die each time I pressed on the gas. Was able to make a U-turn back into Jiffy Lube parking lot while pickup kept jerking and trying to die. Once I stopped, the vehicle did die. Manager found the air intake had not been reattached to the air filter. Air pressure in tires had not been checked. Three tires were at 33, and one at 34 psi. (Should be 35 psi.) Alert on dash that oil needed to be changed was not reset, was not vacuumed. I'm so thankful I didn't have the tires rotated!!! I have been going to this particular location for 15 years. After getting my car back I did some research on my service. Christian Brothers charged me $446.72 for my refrigerant alone, which would amount to $17.45 an ounce (my car took 25.6 ounces). Yet, at autozone it is $44.99 for 8oz ($5.62 an ounce). It is even cheaper at walmart, costing $35.31 for 8oz ($4.41 an ounce). I understand charging a little extra to make a profit but why is it more than triple the cost? Especially when I was charged an extra $149 for labor. If you are looking for a trustworthy place to get your vehicle fixed, I do not recommend here. Shame on Christian Brothers!
