Park in the big lot on Flower- go through security to get cleared and parking is limited but in the back. The store is beautiful- not the bargain bin vibes you get at Company D in Anaheim. There is a ton of branded WED Imagineering merch and current in-park merch. However, if you are a CM who works in the parks, you're used to major deals at Company D or Maters. Here you'll get your regular employee discount A or B. If you are a guest/non-CM you will get no discount. There were a few items that were a really good discounted deal- there were also things from Aulani and Candy/Snacks. What was sort disappointing here was the guest service from staff. I had no idea how pricing was here, since Park CM's are used to pretty much everything being 50 percent off of the price tagged. When I asked if it was the same here I got a very annoyed eye roll and told that I ONLY get a discount IF I have a BLUE ID. Then a non-cm guest (who was clearly in the spectrum) asked a girl at the register about what types of jobs they have and how he could get one. Another annoyed, unfriendly answer from this girl... What really did it for me was when I asked where the restroom was. Again, the same girl was super annoyed and rattled off directions. I apologized and let her know this was my first visit here. She just repeated everything she previously said but much slower... it was patronizing and rude. I was on my way out to leave when I realized I forgot to purchase some lanyards. I went back and got in line- the same girl was OVERLY friendly and super nice to everyone else she helped... It was just a really sad, disappointing experience shopping here. I could see how this would be a great place to shop for imagineers that work here in Glendale or Burbank. However, this will be my guest and last trip.

It brings back that youthful feeling of sitting in front of a small little TV and a Nintendo controller for hours (8 bit all the way!). Everything inside the store was so incredibly cute. The prices are pretty high, what you would expected for a branded store but there are still deals to be found. They had a large variety of items. Some items were geared toward kids while some items were geared towards grown up "kids" like me. Makes sense because I have a grown up "kid" bank account. I ended up at a unique display that had neon items that were all in Japanese writing. The items seems to focus on the "villans" of the games. I settled on a neon retro looking tumbler. It was so cute and well made. Looked like a quality product. I bought it as a birthday gift for another grown up "kid" and she absolutely loved it. Stainless steel on the outside and double insulated. Came with a special straw that the cashier handed to me after I paid. It wasn't too crowded when I went there in the middle of the week so there was plenty of space to casually shot at my leisure. Staff was very friendly but not overly pushy so it was a very relaxing shopping experience. The store definitely looks like it belongs at CityWalk.

People were friendly mainly because it was empty when we came. No one wants to pay $40 for parking to shop in downtown Universal so it's empty. Might fill up later when park goers exit, but they have their own cool merchandise inside the park.

I have been to Citadel Outlets probably like 30 years ago…read more My friend was visiting from Tampa, Florida and staying at the Double Tree Hilton, which is inside Citadel. When I found out, I said I am going to go and see her. I am glad that I did, and we were happy to see each other. So today practically all day, we spent some time together at this lovely, clean mall that is surrounded by so many great stores and eateries. There are probably over 130 stores and places to eat inside and outside the mall. Let me not forget to tell you, some of the restrooms that we used were SPOTLESS CLEAN!!! They have different stores such as Disney, Nike Factory Store, Coach, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Michael Kors, Guess, BOSS Outlet, Beauty and Specialty Stores, Tommy Hilfiger (one of my favorite designers & brands). Converse Factory Outlet, & Gap. Just to name a few. They have vending machines available with snacks and drinks. Also, a lot of nice restaurants nearby. Free parking and close to the I-5 freeway. We went to Gap and Converse, and I bought me 2 pairs of tennis shoes. Get one, and the other one was 50% off. Fantastic deal. From Gap, I got a nice, long, black jacket. Thin material and very comfortable. They also had clean dressing rooms at Gap. Every item has its own value and price. Both stores that we went to had great employees who were eager to help us. Customer service was above and beyond our expectations. We even had lunch at Panda Express. The list can go on and on and on. It has been like 7 years I haven't seen my friend. She used to live here, we used to work together, and then she relocated back to Florida to help her parents. They have a great selection of BTS Korea tour merchandise, including sweaters, shirts, jerseys, and other tour items. The sales lady and owner were both so welcoming and friendly. The owner clearly loves BTS and was so much fun to talk to! He even explained how the clothing cuts and sizing differ between the BTS Korea and Japan tour merchandise. And BTW--they told me they're getting BTS Japan tour merch next week!!!!!! They also carry merchandise and albums from other K-pop groups, and I thought the prices were very reasonable. They don't post everything they have on their website, so it's definitely worth stopping by the store in person. Such a fun find for BTS and K-pop fans!
